Pillar of Yita

Since these items belong to the smugglers, they will eventually be confiscated by Tansnier Port—of course, as adventurers who complete the mission, they can take a small portion of it as a reward.

However, Parker always has some crooked ways of making money, and immediately suggested, ”Maybe we can hide them first.”

But not to mention Fang Hong, even Wu Xiaopang didn’t agree with this suggestion. First of all, there’s no place to hide them, and they didn’t have the opportunity or time now.

However, Wu Xiaopang looked at the two somewhat peculiarly: ”We don’t need to take all of them, just take a part of them.”

”How do we take them?”

Fang Hong asked somewhat absent-mindedly.

To be honest, his mind wasn’t really on this because even if they managed to take away one or two Constructs, they could only sell them for tens of thousands of Lycel at most—selling to adventurers or other Invokers might not work out, and selling to the Guild would probably result in a price drop.

And wasting time just for one or two Constructs would be a lose-lose situation, not to mention the importance of his task at hand, which was related to the construction progress of the Seven Seas Traveler. More importantly, they were currently in a mission, which carried inherent risks.

For some obvious reasons, Fang Hong didn’t want to create extra trouble.

But Wu Xiaopang was a bit surprised to hear his thoughts, as he took out a dusty Crystal from his backpack and said, ”Of course, we would use an Information Crystal. How else could we take them?”

Fang Hong looked at the Crystal in the other’s hand and couldn’t help but be surprised. As far as he remembered, Shield of Lufu didn’t have a Combat Artisan: ”Wait, why do you have this?”

”We all bring it, right?” Wu Xiaopang looked puzzled: ”Who doesn’t bring this?”

”But you guys don’t even have a Combat Artisan, do you?”

The Little Fatty from Shield of Lufu looked at him very surprised: ”What does this have to do with a Combat Artisan? Haven’t you ever dealt with them? If their Flexible Constructs are left on the battlefield, we have to bring those spoils of war back, right?”

”And surely we’re not going to carry it back by hand. Of course, you have to prepare an Information Crystal. What adventurer doesn’t prepare this? Flexible Constructs are valuable and it can also be used to store other Constructs.”

”Moreover, even though high-level Information Crystals are expensive, even the most basic teams can afford them. We aren’t pursuing efficiency; it’s not necessary to fit a bunch of Flexible Constructs into one Crystal, just one per Crystal is enough.”

Wu Xiaopang paused: ”Our team can probably gather about ten Information Crystals. Wait, don’t you guys have any?”

Fang Hong looked at him and was speechless.

He suddenly felt like an idiot. Ever since acquiring the Orphen Twin Stars, he had been worried about his insufficient Information Crystals. But the Crystal he had was a pretty high-level one obtained from the battle at Fenris, otherwise it couldn’t contain a Flexible Construct of the Twin Stars’ caliber.

If he wanted to get a more advanced Crystal, it wouldn’t be feasible even if he sold the entire Seven Seas Travel Group.

But he suddenly realized he ignored a problem: aside from a few Flexible Constructs that he needed for combat and required efficient and interference-resistant Information Crystals, the others could be stored in some cheaper ones.

As for interference caused by multiple Crystals, it wasn’t a big problem. They weren’t used in combat anyway, interference could happen, and even if a summoning failed, he could just try again.

Upon hearing this, Fang Hong slapped his forehead. The surprise wasn’t about being able to take ten military Constructs outside, though even with an 80-20 split, the Seven Seas Travel Group could earn two to three hundred thousand Lycel from this deal, which wasn’t a small amount.

But more than that, the reminder he got was more valuable.

This made him pay attention to this matter.

Looking at these military-grade Constructs, though he didn’t know their origins and purposes, having them was better than leaving them with the Blind Followers. Upon completing the mission, they might fall into the hands of Tansnier Port or even the Royal Household, but at least they wouldn’t stay with the Blind Followers.

But Shield of Lufu had taken the mission, not them. They were just helping the princess find out the true identity of those slave traders. They were earning side money through their own skills, so why wouldn’t they?

After all, the Seven Seas Travel Group wasn’t rich.

So Fang Hong immediately decided, ”But it must be quick, preferably before Elisa and the others come back, to settle this matter.”

Wu Xiaopang saw he agreed and patted his chest, promising, ”Leave it to us.”

And when Fang Hong’s thoughts returned, looking at the rows of military Constructs in the hall, he couldn’t help but have more ideas: ”If we could take all these Constructs out, even if not to sell, they would still be useful.”

The Mares Knight, a heavy artillery-type Construct, might not be very useful to regular adventurers.

But for him, and for the Seven Seas Traveler, they could be put to good use.

Just imagine, lined up on the deck, with his Multi-Control Ability, even though precision might lack and the range might be shorter, it would still be quite impressive. Plus, the Mares Knight uses physical ammunition for attacks, consuming less Magic Power, making it economical.

The more Fang Hong thought about it, the more tempted he became.

But how to take them out?
