Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 1352.5- Bug Emperor Honey (2)

When he rushed to a stall called Timeless Shop, Ye Zhongming saw many people around, and there were people cursing.

Yaqin told him what happened along the way.

That shop was where Yindi was planning to sell the fruits. Although he didn’t come here often, after all, this stall often did ‘big business,’ he knew the boss and knew their reputation was good. 50 Red Scarf Fruits wasn’t a small amount, so he was relaxed to sell them here.

The truth proved that the store gave a good price—50 fruits for 1700 diamond coins.

Yindi, who was familiar with the market situation, knew this price was very honest.

When both sides planned to trade, they met an unexpected person.

Gouhai!

That person who sold them the metal tubes that could spit the corrosive liquid.

Artisans had a high status in this territory, only below the nobles. Some famous artisans even looked down on nobles.

They had skills. Apart from committee members or the higher-ups from the explorer alliance, they didn’t have to respect anyone.
Although Gouhai wasn’t among this group, he was quite famous in Scarbi City. The items he sold were very popular, especially the corrosive spitting tube. They could be used in many situations for example, against the Heima.

When you were in Heima Valley, artisans who could craft things to deal with these lifeforms would have a higher status.

When Haigou saw Yindi’s squad in the store, he wanted to turn and leave. He sold a bunch of tubes that failed, and no one wanted them and was actually afraid of them.

He was surprised that they could still survive after they used a bunch of tubes that could only last for a short time to hunt for the fruits. They even seemed to have lost a person.

But before he turned, he saw the owner hand a bunch of diamond coins to Yindi. Yindi pushed the fruits over to the boss.

Both sides had completed a trade!

Haigou was shocked. He stopped and wondered what was going on? Not only did Yindi’s squad not die, but they also obtained many fruits.

Greed occupied his body.

As a famous artisan in Scarbi City, he was rich. He couldn’t compare to the true rich people, but he could own a big house and have a few dozen servants and five guards. That was enough to prove his wealth.

But with his experience, he knew there were around 40-50 fruits. A few of them were of high quality and could be over five circles. Even if the store would suppress the price, they would get over 1500 coins and even more.

He was rich, but this sum was also a huge fortune for him.

He thought about it and walked to the counter. He grabbed Yindi and woke this explorer from his dreams of obtaining around 300 coins.

Haigou started to scold him. He had a bad attitude, and his hands trembled!

The scolding stunned Yindi and the others and alerted the shopʼs other customers.

They heard two sentences and knew Haigou was angry because Yindi’s squad didn’t follow the agreement and give him a cut!

In Scarbi City and in the entire territory, Artisans and explorers supported each other. Artisans created equipment to raise the strength of explorers. Explorers went to explore and used the equipment to gain items.

The trade would be in two forms. First is upfront cash. The artisans would sell the items directly, and they would clear the debt in cash. Second was to get a cut.

The first method was normal. Most trades were in this way. The second method was rare as it needed trust. The artisans were the ones who crafted the items, so the first method was the more reliable. Although they could gain more with the second method, they would have to take a big risk in case the explorer hid the gains.

So, only people who worked together for a long time would choose the second method.

Haigou and Yindi’s squad had chosen the first method, but Haigou said they had chosen the second one. The cut was even very high, reaching 50%. This meant that he would provide the equipment for free and gain 50% of the gains.

The sudden situation stunned Yindi’s group. They hadn’t found this person who had given them bad equipment trouble, and that person actually ran over and said that he should have a cut and wanted half of the coins… No, not half, all!1 In the territory, if you chose the second method and the explorer wasn’t honest with their gains, they would not get any of their gains.

Now, Haigou wanted them to hand it all over.

That was 1700 coins, 170 thousand square coins! Most of them belonged to Ye. If they disappeared, how would they answer to him?

One of the more hot-tempered Yindi squad members retaliated and denied!

But one side was a famous artisan, and the other was a low-profile explorer squad. Everyone chose to believe the former.

Especially when Haigou told them “Look, how strong are they. Without my equipment, how can they get so many fruits?” Not only did the people watching believe Haigou, but even the boss’s gaze changed.

Yindi’s squad naturally wanted to resist, but the situation was bad for them. Both sides were on the edge of clashing. Yaqin saw the situation and ran to find Ye Zhongming.

When Ye Zhongming arrived, the situation was controlled by the city guards. Yindi’s squad was tied up on the floor and about to be taken away.
