Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 1350: First step

All wheel equipment was useless here, but space equipment could be used.

Although the Demon Nurturing Bee Hive was wheel equipment, it was also space-type. Although it lost its ability to nurture and hatch mutated lifeforms, it could be opened.

The two ice birds were released.

Before this, Ye Zhongming had received the two birds’ desire to come out. When he arrived, the two fellows wanted to get out as they noticed food.

They loved to eat.

Ye Zhongming was initially unsure of what they wanted to eat as he was in a foreign environment. But he then confirmed that they wanted to eat the Heima.

Equipment couldn’t be used, skills couldn’t. He could only use his strong body, so he had to be careful. Since the ice birds decided to eat the bugs, he shall let them try first.

Yindi’s team suddenly saw two ice birds appear and were shocked. The ice birds were level-seven pets, and the aura they gave off wasn’t something the three-star equivalent explorers could compare to. They didn’t know how strong the two birds were; they were much stronger than them.

Immediately, their gazes toward Ye Zhongming changed. No wonder Ye Zhongming dared to come here; he had something to rely on. What they didn’t understand was where the two beautiful birds came from.

The ice birds circled in the sky. Although they craved the things in the soil, they didn’t lose their minds. They looked around, and after not noticing any dangers, they looked at those leaves. They then looked at their master.
Ye Zhongming thought about it and told them to get into the range of the three trees.

The two ice birds flew in. Not only did they enter the range, but they also flew into the center location.

This caused Yindi’s team to exclaim.

“Ye, make them come back! That place is dangerous. Those Heima have strong biting abilities, and they can fly!”

Lanjin pulled Ye Zhongming. She didn’t want the two ice birds to die.

In her heart, if they had these two fellows, they could complete many other missions to earn money. But they won’t do much here. The number of Heima here was too many and too dangerous.

Ye Zhongming smiled and didn’t reply. He communicated with the ice birds.

The two fellows chirped at him confidently.

The bug turrets appeared. There were many of them, and they were all very tall. They couldn’t compare to those appearing when Yindi’s squad entered.

When they saw such scenes, their expressions worsened. Now, they knew they were lucky that only one of them had died. These bugs didn’t even respect them previously.

“Should we help?”

Yindi gulped. Although his trembling body exposed the fear in his heart, he still suggested.

Ye Zhongming shook his head and felt that Yindi was a nice person.

The ice birds were excited when they saw so many bug turrets. They glanced at the ground, and after circling, they dove down.

At the same time, some bug turrets exploded. Many patches of bugs flew into the sky to attack the two birds.

Yindi’s squad was nervous. They didn’t even dare to look. They had heard stories of strong explorers being drowned by the bugs.

What happened shocked them.

The two ice birds were not only unafraid, but they continued forward and charged into the bugs. The sharp beaks moved left and right, swallowing many bugs.

Surprise appeared on everyone’s faces. Even if they weren’t used to Ye Zhongming, they didn’t want the two battle beasts to die here.

But surprise was only surprise; they were still serious. Some bugs had landed on the two birds.

Heima were known for their biting abilities!

At least in the various territories of this country, nothing could defend against its terrifying ability.

But quickly, the bugs that landed on the two ice birds started falling onto the ground.

This was far from the core area. The Yindi squad couldn’t see clearly, but Ye Zhongming could. The bugs all froze to death.

Through this short observation, Ye Zhongming learned the stats of these bugs.

They didn’t have strong solo strength and had no defense at all. But there were many of them. Just this small region had a numbing number of bugs. Also, they had sharp teeth. Ye Zhongming noticed that even if they couldn’t bear the low temperature and froze to death immediately, they still bit the ice bird’s feathers before they died.

Ye Zhongming knew how strong the defense of the two level-seven beasts was. Those bites were able to leave small marks.

In just a short while, the ice birds felt a threat. They flew back up, reducing the number of bugs around.

Ye Zhongming was hesitating. If the ice birds’ abilities couldn’t be used here, they could only rely on their bodies. Facing so many bugs, their situation won’t be good.

The birds were furious. They flapped their wings and blew many bugs away that were on them. They then spat out batches of ice mist.

Ye Zhongming was stunned. They could actually use their abilities!

This restriction was only on him.

The ice mist was very cold and covered a big area. Many patches of bugs were frozen and fell like raindrops. The sky was cleared.

Ye Zhongming whistled and pointed to the ground. The two ice birds flew again to the crown. Each would break a branch and fly back with it.

Those bugs didn’t give up and tried to intercept, but the ice birds were quick. Their defense couldn’t be broken in a short time. Along with the cold wind, although they spent some time, the ice birds returned to Ye Zhongming’s side safely.

Yindi’s team was stunned. They didn’t expect someone to complete an operation that they had lost a member in, so easily.

“Quick, count how many fruits there are!”

Yindi rubbed his hands and looked at the branches with many fruits. His face flushed red.

Ye Zhongming looked at the tempting fruits and knew that he had taken his first step towards getting back.
