Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 1324: Golden Hero

Golden Hero wasn’t the name of a person but a type of mutated zombie.

This lifeform was no different from humans… Apart from it not wearing anything and being golden.

But the Golden Hero was among the few level eight lifeforms in Xingzhou City.

It was very strong.

The Golden Hero was a zombie, but it was different from other types, such as the Talking Lady. It didn’t like having so many subordinates and loved being alone.

It hated other zombies.

It didn’t mind killing and feeding on other zombies when it was hungry.

Because zombies were mutated humans, when zombies evolved to higher levels, they were smarter than other mutated lifeforms, and their thinking was more flexible. In terms of fighting, they were more careful.

Other high-level zombies thought about killing this fellow. After all, it was a good energy source. After absorbing it, they didn’t need to worry about their bodies rejecting the energy as they were all the same species.

Many groups planned on attacking the golden hero in the huge Xingzhou City with their many zombies. But they all failed and ended up as its food.
The Golden Hero’s ability was very strong. One of them was its high defense. That golden body not only made it look rich, but it was also tough and hard. Another ability was that its abilities were AOE damage, and it was good at fighting against groups.

There were very few of these types of mutated zombies, and they weren’t too famous. Xingzhou City was a city that was controlled by mutated lifeforms, and there weren’t many humans who had evolved. Few people had seen the golden hero before, so in other places, their information regarding such zombies were little.

But Ye Zhongming was different. He lived a second life and knew what these lifeforms were like. After scouting, he noticed that Xingzhou City had such a zombie and, thus, planned a way to deal with it.

It was very simple, send Red Hair.

When it saw Red Hair, the Golden Hero that sat on the roof had a look of greed.

Like humans, if you didn’t look at the color and just the body structure, this was a human. Even the eyes and skin were perfect.

Due to its high level, its expressions were real, too. If not for the golden color and demon crystal on the forehead, you might think it was human.

Red Hair held the spear on the undead dragonfishʼs back. It pointed the spear’s tip at the Golden Hero, and her body gave off a thick fighting aura.

After becoming a level eight lifeform, Red Hair hadn’t truly battled someone of the same level.

Today, she knew that she could have a good fight.

“Follow me or die.”

Red Hair gave off a mental energy message.

The Golden Hero was first stunned. She didn’t expect this beautiful woman to know how to communicate mentally. But then, it showed a mocking expression and gave her an international hand sign.

Red Hair wasn’t furious, and instead, her eyes lit up.

From that action alone, she knew that this was a rare opponent. It was very intelligent, which excited her.

Golden Hero looked at Red Hair and the battle in the distance. It nodded and guessed the connection between the two.

It took a deep breath, and the golden body began brighter until you could describe it as shiny.

But this bright light didn’t last for long. As it raised its arms, a golden light flew from its body towards Red Hair.

“Golden Sky!”

This ability was called Golden Sky in the apocalypse.

As for its effect, it was simple and violent. It was an AOE energy attack.

Although the activation method and damage type were ordinary, don’t underestimate its strength. The golden light was an energy attack but also had special stat damage.

Even if the person hit by the light didn’t die, the golden light would attach to their body and cause the body to become heavier and heavier.

In battle, one mistake could cause one to lose their life. Much less their own body becoming as heavy as lead.

In past battles, as long as the Golden Hero used this skill, all lifeforms would get hit. They wouldn’t get instantly killed, but would lose a chance of winning.

Don’t forget that this move was also an AOE attack.

Red Hair looked at the golden light and used her spear. The tip opened, and magma spurted to form a magma veil in front of their bodies. In the next moment, it clashed with the golden light.

Large amounts of smoke rose. The golden light dimmed, and the red magma also disappeared.

But the splattering sounds got more and more intense.

Once the mist dissipated, one could see that Red Hair was on the roof fighting with the Golden Hero.

The red threads on the spear had opened and were floating around like tentacles. When they had a chance, the tentacles would attack the Golden Hero like poisonous snakes.

At the same time, the undead dragonfish was using its abilities to help Red Hair. It opened its mouth and bits of starlight floated from its mouth. Red Hair wasn’t affected, but the Golden Hero was. One of the functions of Golden Sky was to slow but it didn’t slow Red Hair. This starlight affected its speed instead, and it became very frustrated.

High-level lifeforms had strong talent skills, and they could often decide the outcome of the battle. But like human skills, they needed to consume stamina and mental energy. There was also a long cooldown time.

So, in most situations, high-level evolution lifeforms would fight up close while searching for a chance to use skills.

Red Hair and the Golden Hero were in such a situation.

Golden Hero’s defense was good. Only people who had seen Red Hair knew how terrifying she was. She was fast, and strong and also had techniques that she learned from Xia Lei and Mo Ye. Although it was only a small bit, it was already terrifying for a level eight lifeform to use it with their body’s qualities.

In just a short while, her red spear and her fists, even her legs hit the Golden Hero’s body.

What surprised her was that her fists and legs couldn’t move it at all. Only when her spear hit its body could it leave spots.

But… They were just spots.

The Golden Hero laughed. Its cumbersome hands started to stretch!
