Algorithm system

The only heroes in the world are you and Cao.Lin Yuan submitted the relevant information for the AI Administrator Algorithm to Musk as promised.

When Musk received his email, he immediately called back.

“Lin, to be honest, although I really wanted your algorithm, I didn’t expect you to hand it over so readily. You truly are an honest guy.”

“Let’s not talk about useless things anymore. Tell me about your subsequent plans.”

“I will put the AI Administrator Algorithm under my OpenAI. As you know, those investors will definitely be very excited. This is a huge business worth trillions. They just love money.

Money, money, money~~~ All those scumbags care about is money.

Those people think they are the most powerful group in this world, they think they are omnipotent, but in fact, dealing with them is very simple. They are not even as smart as a dog. Because dogs can be trained, dogs also know not to eat food fed by strangers, but they are not like that.

They devour everything.

I like a saying from your country: mercury flowing on the ground. They are like that, like mercury flowing on the ground, always flowing only to the lowlands of capital. Training them is actually simpler than training a dog.”

Lin Yuan understood Musk’s meaning very well; the implication was that he merely needed to use the money of that group of investors. Musk was going to paint a picture, using the investors’ greed and their money to accomplish his own goals.

“Your set of algorithms will definitely accelerate the efficiency of governance in this world, which is simply a huge blessing for the rich. Think about it, they will be able to rely on AI mechanical bodies to manage humans in the future. Although this is still too far from us, your algorithm has given them hope of realizing that day.

They can finally completely do away with the need for the middle class to manage for them.

Lin, think about what the future social structure will be like.

That group of people stands at the pinnacle of the tower, AI mechanical bodies are in the middle, and below them are endless commoners.

AI mechanical bodies will never betray. Uh, uh, at least that’s what they think. But we also have to make them think that.

Then they will think they can rest easy, controlling everything below through AI mechanical bodies.

Then, they will easily forget one thing—the core algorithm of the AI mechanical bodies is actually in the hands of people like us.

Lin, this world belongs to people like us.

Technology is always the primary driving force for changing humanity.

Other than that, nothing else matters.

Just like our bodies. The most important part is the brain, which carries thoughts and consciousness; the rest of the parts merely serve this purpose. Therefore, when the time is ripe, those auxiliary parts can be discarded. As long as we can find more suitable replacements…”

Lin Yuan let the other party ramble for a long time, “Did you drink alcohol?”

“Huh?” Musk was stunned for a moment, then burst into a hearty laugh, “Haha~~ My dear brother, just take it as if I’m joking. Thank you for giving me the intellectual property of the algorithm; you are a trustworthy person.

I will definitely reserve a first-class seat for you on the spaceship bound for Mars. No, you should sit with me in the cockpit.”

Lin Yuan had a feeling that what Musk was saying, in the end, was actually an allusion—the story of ‘Boiling Wine with Green Plums.’

Only you and I are heroes in this world!

Setting aside the murderous intent implied in ‘Boiling Wine with Green Plums’ (since Musk had no murderous intent towards Lin Yuan at this moment), Musk’s true expression was actually this meaning.

“You truly are a madman. First, launch your big rocket. Before 2030, we will go to the moon. Can you still go?

Why did I use ‘still’? To be honest, have you ever even been there?”

Lin Yuan also didn’t stand on ceremony with Musk, actually asking a piercing question.

“Uh, uh, to be honest, I think they probably haven’t been there.” Musk used “they,” indicating that deep down, he didn’t consider himself to be part of the Eagle Country group.

If some people in this world are “global citizens,” then people like Musk are “tech citizens.”

In the eyes of tech citizens, humanity cooped up on Earth is too boring. Exploiting fellow humans as vampires is even more uninteresting; they uphold the purest part of human DNA—curiosity.

Humanity’s most ancient impulse is actually curiosity.

From this perspective, it’s no wonder Musk would view Lin Yuan as a kindred spirit, because Lin Yuan also possesses endless curiosity.

However, Lin Yuan is far less insane than Musk, who would sacrifice everything for this curiosity.

“Oh, and you absolutely must not plan to use this set of algorithms in my country. I will not allow it. Elon, I admire your madness. Although I don’t agree, I admire it. Really.

I don’t want you to become a tech madman; I don’t want there to be a day when I have no choice but to oppose you.”

There was a moment of silence on the other end of the phone, “Okay. But who knows what the future holds. Lin, whether out of my promise to you or practical considerations, after all, your country has regulations and won’t allow me to act recklessly. So, rest assured, I will experiment here first.

Anyway, I am full of freedom. Everything is free. Free to get rich, free to die, free to conduct all sorts of experiments at will.

Lin, to be honest, I think you are also eager to know the experimental results.

Actually, you are also a madman.

It’s just that you’re too embarrassed to experiment on your own people.

Alright, I respect you.”

Musk hit Lin Yuan’s hidden thoughts, and Lin Yuan was at a loss for how to respond.

Musk came from the southernmost country in Africa, having experienced the troubles brought by political turmoil. Coupled with the customs of their civilization, he therefore did not have Lin Yuan’s sentimental attachment to his homeland.

A wandering robber would not develop feelings for any piece of land.

“Elon, where is your hometown? Mars?”

Musk was stunned for a good while before slowly speaking, “You are absolutely right. My spiritual home can only be high above in the night sky. Looking at this chaotic world, I am fortunate that we at least live in an era where technology is still developing.

Lin, you will help me, won’t you.

Together, let’s make AI infiltrate human life.

A new page of this world is turning in our hands.

Oh~~ I finally feel alive. This feeling is truly great.”

Lin Yuan found it difficult to resonate with Musk’s mental state, as he himself was not a madman.

“Easy, buddy. Take care of yourself!” Lin Yuan said nothing more, just a brief “take care.” Because what Musk was going to do was visibly complex and fraught with difficulties; Lin Yuan felt intimidated just thinking about it.

Although Lin Yuan really wanted to know the results after AI was rolled out, he was afraid of the process.

The process of rolling out AI requires leveraging various parties, which demands extraordinary control and the knowledge of how to form alliances and use leverage.

Therefore, only madmen can do crazy things, because madmen have endless passion and see all obstacles on their path as nothing.

And that’s why Lin Yuan ended with a final “take care.”

“You too!” Musk returned the same greeting to Lin Yuan.
