Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

”And also because I didn’t initially think about making money, just wanted to do a good job, I ended up actually making money.”

Lu Zhining thought seriously for a moment, then said, ”Your words really make a lot of sense.”

”When we do something, we shouldn’t just think about what it can bring us, but rather focus on how to do it well.”

”And only with this mindset can we do a good job, and because we do a good job, we eventually naturally gain various benefits.”

Zhang Jingdong glanced at the computer and said nonchalantly, ”Senior, aren’t you curious about how much my restaurant can earn in a month now?”

Lu Zhining pursed her lips, ”…a little.”

”I’m not exactly sure myself right now, but this computer has all the accounts. We can take a look together; are you interested?”

”This… this doesn’t seem right, after all, it involves your business secrets.”

”What can’t be shared between us now?”

”…Alright.”

Zhang Jingdong then took Lu Zhining to the computer.

Since there was only one seat, Lu Zhining instinctively wanted to stand aside.

But Zhang Jingdong stretched out his hand to her, ”You sit.”

Lu Zhining quickly waved her hand, ”This is your office, how can I sit here? You sit, I’ll just watch from the side.”

”That won’t do, you’re a guest, how can I let you stand? You sit quickly, it’ll only take three to five minutes to finish watching, I’ll stand for a while.”

As he spoke, he directly went to pull Lu Zhining’s hand.

Unable to resist him, Lu Zhining obediently took a seat.

Zhang Jingdong then took the mouse and briskly opened a folder on the desktop.

Then began explaining, ”This is last month’s store flow...”

After narrating, he opened another folder.

”This is last month’s employee salaries and bonuses at the store, among which the chefs...”

After narrating again, he opened another folder.

The name of this folder was ”Business Learning Materials.”

Lu Zhining looked without suspicion, continuing to focus on the screen.

Previously due to Zhang Jingdong’s serious explanation, she was now very interested in their restaurant’s various data.

Zhang Jingdong casually double-clicked a certain file.

As a result, what appeared was not a data table but a movie started playing on the big screen.

And the scene was set in an office.

Lu Zhining was a bit stunned at first, ”This... what is this?”

Zhang Jingdong remained serious, ”This is office teaching, just looking at those data is boring, we need to combine relaxation with education, learn and play.”

”Furthermore, senior, you must understand, knowing these data is ultimately to understand me better.”

”And in the office, besides studying those data, I also watch these types of movies to relax.”

When Lu Zhining heard the phrase ”these types of movies,” she vaguely felt something was amiss, especially as at this moment the secretary on the computer screen moved close to the boss.

Lu Zhining quickly averted her gaze, then angrily glared at Zhang Jingdong, ”You... this is... that kind of movie!”

Zhang Jingdong held back laughter, ”That kind of movie? Senior, which kind are you talking about?”

”You... you’re playing dumb!”

”Haha, senior, it seems you’ve seen that kind of movie! Tsk tsk, truly worthy of being a PhD, really well-versed!”

”Just right, since we’ve both seen those types, why don’t we appreciate one together now.”

”Not a chance!”

As she spoke, Lu Zhining stood up.

Zhang Jingdong immediately put his arm around her shoulder, ”Senior, why are you so agitated? Haven’t you watched it before? Why not appreciate one together now? I assure you, you absolutely haven’t seen this one!”

”You… you are the one who has watched it! I haven’t… I’ve heard others talk about it.”

Zhang Jingdong sighed, ”Hearing it a thousand times isn’t as good as watching it once.”

”Senior, I have to criticize you again. Isn’t it your role as a PhD to not be selective in your learning?”

”Since we know there’s knowledge we don’t know yet, we should seize the opportunity and study hard so we can continually strengthen ourselves.”

”Haven’t you read Jia Pingwa’s ’Wasted City’? Haven’t you read Su Tong’s ’A Crowd of Concubines’?”

”Both of them are genuine veteran authors, and these works have huge societal impact. If you want to become a true writer, you need to eliminate your weaknesses as much as possible.”

”And currently this is clearly your weakness, so you must watch some of these top films to learn truly useful knowledge.”

”But...”

”No buts, Lu Zhining student, I’ve noticed when you discover areas you don’t understand, you instinctively choose to evade.”

”But what is there to evade? Isn’t it just some knowledge points you already can guess?”

”Since you already know what it talks about, and you don’t know the specific details, what you need to do is seriously watch it and draw the nourishment you need.”

Lu Zhining bit her lip corner, almost pleading, ”But I’m not mentally prepared yet.”

Zhang Jingdong shook his head, ”Learning is like cooking, you can’t wait until all the ingredients are ready before you start. Often, unforeseen learning leaves a deeper impression and results surprisingly good!”

”But... you’re here, I... I’m embarrassed to learn.”

Zhang Jingdong spoke seriously, ”I’m a student too, actually there’s a lot of knowledge here that I haven’t learned yet either.”

”As the saying goes, male-female pairing halves the work, plus, the movie has both men and women, we each learn our part.”

”I... I can’t do it!”

”How do you know you can’t if you haven’t tried?”

”I...”

”Stop overthinking. The more you dwell, the more it shows you are taking this kind of knowledge too seriously, which will affect your learning efficiency.”

”Just treat it as a simple physiology hygiene class; learn this knowledge the way you’ve studied other knowledge before, that’s how you learn fast and well.”

Lu Zhining hesitated for a while, then surprisingly nodded slightly, ”…Alright.”
