Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Lu Zhining was momentarily stunned: ”What are you doing?”

”Holding onto my waist.”

”Why should I hold onto your waist?”

”To prevent you from falling off!”

”... No need.”

”What do you mean no need, sitting like this is very dangerous, if you’re not careful you’ll fall off the bike!”

”I won’t.”

”Listen.”

”Just go already!”

Zhang Jingdong saw she was still insisting, so he had no choice but to say, ”Okay, you’ll realize in a bit!”

Saying so, he gave a sharp pedal and rode off the road.

At first, he deliberately rode slowly on the small path.

Then he turned back and said, ”Senior, hurry up, I’m going to speed up!”

”Pfft... ride however you want, this is fine.”

”Are you sure?”

”I’m sure!”

”Alright then.”

Zhang Jingdong said this and then began to pedal furiously, even taking two sharp turns on purpose.

Lu Zhining managed to hold on at the first sharp turn, but by the second turn, for safety’s sake, she couldn’t help but hold onto Zhang Jingdong’s waist.

Zhang Jingdong immediately smiled with satisfaction: ”See, if you’d done this earlier it would’ve been fine!”

Feeling frustrated, Lu Zhining pinched Zhang Jingdong’s waist fiercely.

”You did that on purpose!”

Zhang Jingdong immediately let out an exaggerated wail.

”Senior, let’s make a deal, in the future, you can hit me, you can curse me, but please don’t pinch me, okay? It hurts too much!”

Lu Zhining rarely saw this guy asking for mercy, and it amused her.

”Since you’ve said that, if you make me mad in the future, I won’t hit you or curse you, I’ll just pinch you!”

Zhang Jingdong sighed: ”Senior, that’s not right, you’re a doctoral student at West University, how can you be so violent?”

”Who told you to be so excessive? To deal with a bad person like you, I have to be a little violent.”

”Senior, if you keep this up, you won’t be able to say that I’m vulgar anymore, because your violence is much worse than my vulgarity!”

Lu Zhining seemed to have found a way to deal with this guy now.

Casually, she said: ”My violence is forced out by your vulgarity and tendency to take advantage, so in a way, it’s self-defense, not only legal but also reasonable.”

Zhang Jingdong let out a long sigh: ”Ah, I knew I shouldn’t provoke someone as intellectual as you, I can’t out-talk you, I can’t out-fight you, it’s really tough for me!”

Lu Zhining not only didn’t mind this, but felt a bit smug: ”Tsk, now you regret it, huh? Let’s see if you dare to take advantage of me next time!”

Zhang Jingdong laughed heartily: ”Of course I will! As the saying goes, ’Under the peony flower, even as a ghost, I’ll be charming.’

”Not to mention a couple of pinches, even if you stab me twice, I’ll only become braver and never stop!”

”You...”

Feeling frustrated, Lu Zhining pinched him hard again.

Zhang Jingdong immediately let out another wail, almost like a pig being slaughtered.

By now, the two had passed through the small path and arrived in front of the teaching building.

Those who finished exams and were studying for night classes were coming out to eat, and his cry attracted numerous looks.

When everyone realized that it was Zhang Jingdong on the bike and Lu Zhining sitting behind him, a fire of intense gossip instantly ignited in everyone’s hearts.

Damn, Lin Shishi’s boyfriend from West University actually gave a ride to Senior Lu Zhining, the campus beauty; it was like when Nicholas Tse sang for Zhang Baozhi in front of Wang Fei at the awards ceremony back then.

It’s just too explosive!

Lu Zhining sensed this and quietly pinched Zhang Jingdong again: ”What are you doing, everyone saw us!”

Zhang Jingdong carelessly said: ”Don’t worry, I’m not afraid, what are you afraid of?”

”Hmph... of course you’re not afraid, you have nothing to lose, but what if Lin Shishi and Xiao Fei come after me?”

”What else can you do, just tell them the truth.”

”Do you think they’ll believe it?”

”Don’t worry, not only will they believe it, but your relationship with them will also improve.”

”You sure?”

”One hundred percent sure.”

Lu Zhining was slightly relieved and said, ”Ride faster, I don’t want them to watch us like this.”

”Then hold tight!”

Lu Zhining hesitated for a moment, then slowly did as he said.

Zhang Jingdong looked down at her delicate hands, then pedaled sharply, quickly moving away from the crowd.

Five minutes later, they arrived at Daoxiang.

Zhang Jingdong didn’t take her to a private room, instead taking her directly to his office.

”What are your favorite dishes here?”

Lu Zhining hesitated a bit, but couldn’t help saying: ”The classic stir-fried chili with pork, then mapo tofu, and the steamed waxed meats.”

”Just those?”

”Let’s just have these today.”

”Alright.”

Zhang Jingdong said as he picked up his phone to call Yuan Mei, ordering six dishes in one go.

After hanging up, Zhang Jingdong turned to Lu Zhining: ”Senior, do you know why I initially opened this restaurant?”

”To... make money?”

”That’s part of it, but the main reason is that I didn’t find a restaurant near our school that could completely satisfy my taste buds at the time.”

”So I thought if I could open such a restaurant, even if I couldn’t make much money, at least I could satisfy my personal palate during my four years of university, so I opened this restaurant, and unexpectedly, it got popular!”

”Later, I realized the reason my restaurant got popular was that I didn’t prioritize making money in the beginning, but rather focused on the taste of the dishes.”
