Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Although Lu Zhining found it hard to believe, Gu Ling’s Spanish was really authentic.

So, she casually took out a voice recorder, pressed the switch, and then asked in Spanish, ”When did you start learning Spanish?”

Zhang Jingdong replied casually, ”It should be when I was 9 years old. At that time, I fell in love with a Spanish football player, and thereafter I developed a keen interest in the country of Spain.”

”I thought that when I grew up, I must go to Spain and visit the Real Madrid club.”

Lu Zhining suddenly realized, and at the same time, she thought his reason was very valid because Spanish football has always been formidable, and the football clubs Real Madrid and Barcelona have always been very famous.

Then she said, ”Alright then, since that’s the case, I’ll interview you in Spanish.”

”Which football player do you like?”

”Raúl.”

”I know him. He plays as a forward, right?”

”That’s correct.”

”And Real Madrid is also quite strong now. They’ve brought Zidane, Ronaldo, Beckham, and Carlos together. Their team now has the nickname ’Galacticos.’

”Although they are star-studded, Raúl is the captain. By the way, who do you like the most, Beckham?”

Lu Zhining shook her head, ”Not him, I like Ronaldo the most.”

”Really, why? It’s rare to see a girl who watches football but doesn’t like Beckham.”

”Because Ronaldo’s skills are more impressive, watching him play is truly a pleasure.”

”So, you’re someone who values skills over looks, huh? Rare, really rare!”

At this moment, Lu Zhining glanced out the window and then said, ”Now let’s start the real interview. Bear in mind, some of my questions might be a bit excessive, so you’d better be prepared.”

”You don’t have to answer any question you’re unwilling to, but if you choose to answer, I hope you can answer truthfully and not deceive me, okay?”

Zhang Jingdong smiled confidently, ”Rest assured, since I agreed to your interview, no matter what you ask, I’ll definitely answer truthfully.”

”Because I know, when I ask you back, you’ll also answer me truthfully.”

”So today’s interview is a true confession session, where we hold nothing back, and every word is our most genuine thoughts from the bottom of our hearts.”

Lu Zhining paused briefly and then nodded in satisfaction.

”Alright, first question, are you currently dating both Lin Shishi and Xiao Fei at the same time?”

Zhang Jingdong pretended to be shocked and chuckled, ”Are you sure you want to start with such a big question?”

Lu Zhining pursed her lips, ”You just promised to answer all questions truthfully, you wouldn’t back out now, would you?”

Zhang Jingdong shrugged, ”Alright, truthfully, yes, I am indeed dating both of them at the same time.”

Even though Lu Zhining had guessed this answer beforehand, she was still somewhat shocked when Zhang Jingdong actually admitted to it!

After all, she had interacted with Lin Shishi and Xiao Fei before and knew that not only were they beautiful, but they were also talented and even had a touch of the extraordinary.

She couldn’t understand how they could agree to something like this in such an important matter as love.

So, she couldn’t help but ask curiously, ”Do they both know you’re dating both of them at the same time?”

”They know.”

”Really?”

Zhang Jingdong stared at Lu Zhining, ”Don’t you believe me?”

Lu Zhining was a bit flustered under Zhang Jingdong’s gaze and subconsciously shook her head.

”No, it’s just... I interacted with both of them before and know how exceptional they are, so I don’t understand why they’d agree to this.”

”How did you get them to accept this?”

Zhang Jingdong said with a hint of pride, ”I didn’t persuade them; they found out themselves that apart from me, no other guy at West University could match them.”

”Or rather, after meeting me, they couldn’t see any other guys anymore.”

”At the end of the day, I’m just too outstanding!”

Lu Zhining teased, ”I’ve met many confident men, but it’s my first time encountering someone so boastful like you.”

Zhang Jingdong curled his lips, ”Senior, as we get to know each other better, you’ll realize this isn’t boasting; it’s a fact. By then, you might even find me very humble.”

”Hey... when someone is overly confident, it turns into arrogance!”

Zhang Jingdong laughed and shook his head, ”Forget it, let’s not talk about this for now. You just asked me so many questions, now it’s my turn to ask you a few questions, right?”

Lu Zhining felt a bit tense inside, but outwardly she pretended to be calm and said, ”Alright, ask away.”

”How many times have you been in love?”

”I... haven’t been in a relationship even once.”

”Senior, we just agreed that we must answer every question truthfully. If you answer this way, then I won’t be able to answer your questions truthfully later either.”

”I’m not lying, I’m telling the truth.”

”But that sounds too fake. You’ve reached the doctoral level, how could you have not been in a relationship even once?”

”Precisely because I was pursuing my PhD, I’ve never had the time or energy for a relationship.”

”But you said you studied languages, not chemistry or biology, and you’re most interested in human affairs, and love is essential for humans, so how could you not have experienced it?”
