Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Lu Zhining was clearly not expecting Zhang Jingdong to ask such a question, and her face instantly turned red with embarrassment.

”You... I... I don’t know.”

Zhang Jingdong chuckled to himself, ”You allow me to kiss you, but before kissing you, I still need your consent, and normally you’re too shy to agree... Oh, this is too hard for me!”

”Senior, how about this? Every time I want to kiss you, I’ll say, ’Senior, I’m thirsty, I want to drink water.’ If you agree, just nod your head. If you disagree, just say, ’There’s no water now.’ How about it?”

Lu Zhining didn’t think too much about it and shyly nodded her head.

Seeing her agreement, Zhang Jingdong immediately said, ”Senior, I’m thirsty, I want to drink water?”

Lu Zhining hesitated for a moment before saying, ”... There’s no water now.”

Zhang Jingdong suppressed his laughter, ”I can help make water.”

Lu Zhining was instantly a little dumbfounded.

”You... how will you help?”

Suddenly, Zhang Jingdong wrapped his arms around Lu Zhining’s waist and directly kissed her.

This time, to achieve a certain effect, he almost used his best kissing skills.

It was five minutes before Zhang Jingdong let go of Lu Zhining.

Lu Zhining was at once both embarrassed and angry, ”Zhang Jingdong, you... you broke our agreement. We clearly agreed just now that when I say that, it means I refuse!”

Zhang Jingdong shook his head with a smile, ”Senior, although you refused, what I did was indeed a way to help make water. Haven’t you realized there’s water now?”

Lu Zhining thought it over for a solid half minute and still couldn’t figure it out.

”What do you mean by that?”

Zhang Jingdong finally couldn’t hold back a mischievous smile and made a gesture towards Lu Zhining.

Lu Zhining suddenly realized and glared at Zhang Jingdong, ”You... you’re so bad! I’m not talking to you anymore!”

She turned around to leave.

Zhang Jingdong quickly grabbed her hand.

”Don’t be mad; I was just joking.”

”This joke is not funny at all.”

”Senior, being extremely vulgar is a form of elegance. No one can be highbrow every day; sometimes you need a bit of vulgarity for balance.”

Lu Zhining turned back and pinched Zhang Jingdong’s arm, ”That’s not vulgar, that’s obscene!”

”Okay, okay... I’m obscene, fine? Your venerable self is truly high-class.”

”That’s why we should be together; that way, you can have the joy of reforming me, and I can return from my straying ways and, under your guidance, transform from low-class to high-class.”

Lu Zhining was helpless with this guy.

Though she disliked him acting this way, deep down, she didn’t want to leave him.

She herself didn’t know why.

Zhang Jingdong saw her inner conflict and said, ”Alright, let’s continue the interview.”

Lu Zhining quickly adjusted her emotions and was about to continue with the questions when, all of a sudden, a bell rang.

She raised her hand to check the time.

It was already close to 6 PM.

She then said, ”Let’s call it a day; don’t you still have something to do later?”

Zhang Jingdong also glanced at the time and then said, ”Are you hungry? How about we go to my restaurant and have a bite to eat? Have you been to my restaurant? Do you think our food is good?”

Lu Zhining initially wanted to refuse, but somehow, as she spoke, she said, ”I’ve been... it’s quite good.”

Zhang Jingdong immediately said, ”Great, I’ll ask the chef to prepare a few dishes especially for you.”

”... No, I...”

”It’s okay; we can chat about my entrepreneurial journey while we eat.”

”Well... okay.”

Seeing that Lu Zhining agreed, Zhang Jingdong immediately took her slender hand, and before she could refuse, started walking outside.

Although Lu Zhining was a bit flustered, she knew that this guy would never let go, so she didn’t struggle at all.

The two of them went downstairs.

Zhang Jingdong then turned to Lu Zhining and said, ”Give me the keys; this time, I’ll take you.”

Lu Zhining couldn’t help saying, ”Didn’t you say before that when riding this bike, I always have to take you?”

Zhang Jingdong shrugged, ”Senior, and you’re supposed to be the PhD student? Your memory is really poor.”

”What I said at the time was that in school you have to take me, but since we’re going out of school this time, it naturally has to be me taking you, otherwise people outside might see you taking me and think I’m bullying you as your boyfriend.”

Lu Zhining rolled her eyes, ”Who’s boyfriend are you?”

Zhang Jingdong replied confidently, ”Reserve boyfriend, in short, boyfriend. What’s the problem?”

”Of course there’s a problem; you can’t just spout nonsense!”

”Alright, then our current relationship is still senior and junior, and because we’re working together on a novel, that’s why we’re riding a bike and eating together. Is this explanation okay?”

”Huh... you sure know how to talk.”

”Alright, give me the keys.”

Only then did Lu Zhining take the bicycle key from her bag and hand it over to Zhang Jingdong.

Zhang Jingdong took the key, swiftly fetched the bike, and rode it in front of Lu Zhining.

”Beautiful lady, please get on!”

When she saw Zhang Jingdong fetching the bike earlier, Lu Zhining didn’t feel anything, but hearing him say this now made her face flush red again.

Just like when she first went to the library and had to give a boy a ride for the first time, she had never been given a bike ride by a boy before.

But she also knew that she couldn’t avoid it now.

So, she had to swallow her embarrassment and sidle onto the back seat of the bike.

Zhang Jingdong turned his head to look at Lu Zhining, ”Hurry up!”
