Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Facing Zhang Jingdong’s forceful kiss, Lu Zhining struggled a bit at first.

But after realizing she couldn’t break free, perhaps because she had already been kissed by him, or maybe due to Zhang Jingdong’s unbeatable kissing skills, she surprisingly started to gradually immerse herself in it.

In the end, she even involuntarily wrapped her arms around Zhang Jingdong’s waist.

Zhang Jingdong kissed for a full seven or eight minutes before releasing Lu Zhining, satisfied.

Lu Zhining seemed to savor the moment for a few seconds before she finally snapped back to reality, then glared at Zhang Jingdong with playful annoyance: ”You...”

Before she could finish cursing, Zhang Jingdong interrupted directly: ”Don’t worry, I just feared you hadn’t fully experienced the wonder of kissing, so I gave you another opportunity.”

”You can still claim you don’t like me, and I won’t pressure you to say you like me now. Anyway, you’ll be staying at West University to teach, and I’ll be entering sophomore year soon. We have a long future ahead, no rush.”

After hearing this, Lu Zhining seemed relieved that Zhang Jingdong had temporarily let her off the hook, and surprisingly, she didn’t continue to scold him.

She gave him a flirtatious look and switched topics: ”Continue the interview. Have you... ever been rejected by someone before?”

Zhang Jingdong chuckled self-deprecatingly: ”Of course I’ve been rejected. Although I’m outstanding, my luck can’t always be this good, encountering top beauties like you with keen eyes and high EQ and IQ.”

Lu Zhining pouted slightly: ”Are you indirectly calling me stupid?”

”Absolutely not! How could that be! Only people like you would never regret the decision; the girls who rejected me before are now quite regretful.”

”No lie, I’ve received at least 100 messages from them expressing regret and trying to make amends, but I never go back to past relationships.”

”Yesterday, you were indifferent to me; today, I’ll make sure I’m out of your league.”

Lu Zhining was initially stunned, then soon found herself amused by Zhang Jingdong’s cheeky attitude.

”Are you sure? You’ve never gone back to a past relationship?”

Zhang Jingdong nodded directly: ”Of course, I’m sure. No matter how lovely she might be, if she misses out on me, then I would never look back!”

At this point, Zhang Jingdong noticed a hint of hesitation in Lu Zhining’s eyes, so he added: ”But if it’s you, I might make an exception.”

”First, I’ve kissed you, so I must be responsible.”

”Second, you perfectly fit my aesthetic, whether in appearance, figure, personality, or voice.”

”In short, you can’t escape; I will definitely be with you!”

Lu Zhining was slightly bewildered, a trace of delight appeared subtly at the corner of her mouth.

But she said with a pout: ”I... I don’t need it! I’d rather miss out on you, to avoid being hurt by your mischievous advances.”

Zhang Jingdong laughed heartily: ”You’re so cute when you act coy, I really want to kiss you again!”

”...No way!” Lu Zhining instinctively stepped back two steps: ”Who’s acting coy with you? I’m definitely not acting coy with you!”

Zhang Jingdong shrugged: ”In a lover’s eyes, even anger looks charming; other women look ugly when upset, but when you’re angry with me, I feel you’re being cute, and think you look even better than usual!”

”Hmph... You’re starting to ramble again!”

”Enough, stop teasing, let’s continue the interview. Have you... ever done anything bad from childhood till now?”

Zhang Jingdong pretended to be serious: ”That’s quite a secretive question, isn’t it?”

”From your tone, it seems you really have done bad things?”

Lu Zhining paused for a moment, then continued: ”But don’t forget, you promised me before the interview to answer all my questions truthfully?”

Zhang Jingdong replied: ”But this question... is really tough! If I answer truthfully, it’s as if I’m handing you my weak spot.”

”And crucially, I indeed have done some bad things while you likely haven’t, so even if I ask you the same, I probably won’t find any holds on you.”

”So, I want to first ask, do you consider me as one of your own now?”

Lu Zhining hesitated for several seconds, realizing Zhang Jingdong was indirectly asking if she liked him.

However, she knew answering the question was difficult, considering Zhang Jingdong had become a billionaire at a young age; despite his capabilities, he must have done some things he’d prefer to keep hidden.

And if these deeds were revealed, he might find himself very vulnerable or even in danger.

But she was truly curious because she really wanted to know what kind of person he was, how bad the things he did could be.

She pondered for a while, then said: ”I won’t answer that question, but... I assure you, if you answer truthfully, I’ll keep your secret safe.”

”I only ask this to understand you better so that... I can write my novel more accurately.”

Zhang Jingdong felt amused: ”You’re sure you’ll keep my secret safe?”

”...I’m sure!”

”No matter what bad thing I’ve done, you’re willing to keep my secret?”

”...Yes.”

”Even if the bad thing violates whatever, you’re willing to keep it secret?”

This time, Lu Zhining hesitated but eventually nodded slowly: ”…I’m sure.”
