Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

”Why is it different?”

Zhang Jingdong looked serious: ”First, you’re mixed heritage, and I’ve never dated someone of mixed heritage before.”

”Secondly, although you’re still a senior now, you’ll become a teacher next year. This is an upgrade in status, and as I mentioned earlier, we always harbor a bit of wonderful fantasy about seniors and teachers.”

”You...”

Lu Zhining said with annoyance: ”You’re truly too bold! You really dare to imagine!”

Zhang Jingdong shrugged: ”Senior, I’m naturally a person who dares to think and act. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have done such big business and become a billionaire just after starting college!”

”And although there are many humans, it’s always been a minority like me, who dares to think and act, that leads humanity to grow continuously and become the king of all beasts!”

”If we dared not dream and act, we couldn’t possibly drive tigers, several times our size, into the deep forests and make other animals our livestock or food.”

”So being daring is one of humanity’s best qualities. Senior, don’t you agree with that?”

Lu Zhining was momentarily speechless.

But she quickly thought of something and continued to counterattack: ”It’s useless for you to dare; I already said that I will never fall for it, so I advise you not to harbor any fantasies about me anymore.”

Zhang Jingdong sighed: ”Senior, let me tell you this, before I turned 15, I never liked cilantro, but one August, I accidentally ate fish made by my third aunt, which I found delicious, and that fish dish included cilantro.”

”Initially, I pushed the cilantro aside and only ate the fish, but one time, out of laziness, I picked up the fish and cilantro together, too lazy to put it back, so I ate them together, and suddenly realized cilantro wasn’t that bad.”

”From then on, I was no longer averse to cilantro.”

”And recently, last week our company worked on a project that I initially had no hope for, thinking it was unlikely to succeed.”

”But surprisingly, just the day before yesterday, because of the sudden popularity of a signed artist, our project unexpectedly exploded, and I instantly realized the project’s great potential. So I immediately decided to invest heavily and make it the company’s key development project for the second half of the year.”

”Senior, I’m telling you all this to say that our thoughts on the same matter might be one way today, but completely different tomorrow.”

”Similarly, for someone, maybe today you think he’s a scoundrel and swear never to be with him, but tomorrow, due to some incident, you might completely change your view of him, and you might even suddenly fall for him.”

”Isn’t there an ad saying that nothing is absolute, everything is possible?”

Lu Zhining puckered her lips: ”What you said makes some sense, but also, different people have different qualities and habits.”

”You’re naturally changeable, but I’m not like that. I’ve hated chicken since I can remember, and I still hate it now.”

”If I determinedly decide on an idea after deep thought, I might never change my mind in this lifetime.”

”That’s too absolute; it depends on the issue. Eating chicken and falling in love are two different things.”

”To me, they are the same. Once I’ve decided not to get entangled with someone, I won’t.”

Zhang Jingdong twitched at the corner of his eyes: ”But this isn’t something you can decide. You might not want to get involved with someone, but you can’t stop them from wanting to be involved with you?”

”Like you probably didn’t expect to lose your first kiss today, but because of someone’s appearance, it just happened... just like that!”

Lu Zhining suddenly panicked: ”Zhang Jingdong, you... you dare bring that up again, I... if you mention it again, I will really get angry!”

”See, okay, I won’t mention it anymore. Let’s continue the interview.”

Lu Zhining gave Zhang Jingdong a hateful look and took a whole half-minute to calm down: ”When did you start learning music?”

”In college.”

”In college? Are you sure? But the instrument you performed at the campus music festival was supposed to be difficult, and you reached that level in just one semester?”

”Yeah, how about that? Impressive, right?”

Lu Zhining looked surprised: ”Did you learn from a teacher, or were you self-taught?”

”I had already started my business by then, so I had no time to learn from a teacher; I taught myself in my spare time.”

”But I heard from Xiao Fei that your musical talent is almost at a professional level, so... that’s just incredible!”

Zhang Jingdong spread his hands: ”What can I do, Senior? Besides that gift, I’m exceptionally talented in many other fields too.”

”No lie, after self-learning for a little over a month, I started performing at night venues and made quite a bit of money, and some of my initial capital for my business came from that.”

”Later, I self-studied for another month, then took a professional rating exam, and the judge, after hearing my performance, wanted to take me as their last disciple, but I refused because I only wanted it as a hobby, not a means of living.”
