I Am Scouted by Real Madrid

Chapter 381: Chapter 42: Competing News Coverage, A New Legend_2

There are 13 players from the Premier League, 6 from La Liga, 9 from Serie A, 6 from the Bundesliga, and a total of 6 players selected from other leagues.

Perhaps these ”contrarians” don’t agree with Chen Zhong, but they excessively praise young players like Pato and Jovetic. Chen Zhong, among these geniuses, has defeated these competitors, which is enough to prove his strength.

Moreover, the ”European Golden Boy Award” previously selected players like Rooney, Messi, Aguero, Fabregas, who have all blossomed in the football world, proving its professionalism.

Chen Zhong has once again stirred up a storm domestically, with countless people wanting to know more about him. There are even games on ”Fat Penguin” (QQ) where you control Chen Zhong playing football, similar to the mini-apps for Liu Xiang hurdling.

With this kind of call, various self-written, reposted, and translated news about Chen Zhong have emerged endlessly. A recent exclusive interview with Real Madrid’s internal players has profoundly resonated with many Chinese fans, making them feel Chen Zhong’s standing within the locker room.

Real Madrid’s frontline combination is now recognized as CNK, consisting of C. Ronaldo, Negredo, and Kaka.

This interview invited not only C. Ronaldo, Negredo, and Kaka but also several players deeply connected with Chen Zhong.

Of course, because of Messi’s outstanding performance, journalists’ questions are always related to Messi.

Thus, a simple question arises.

”Do you agree that Messi is the current world’s number one star?” The journalist asked with a smile, looking at Cristiano Ronaldo, who had a faint trend of ”dual stars” with Messi before coming to Real Madrid.

Although after Ronaldo joined Real Madrid, the club wanted to build its banner around Chen Zhong, aiming to create a rivalry between Chen Zhong and Messi.

Yet, some still view it as the conflict between Ronaldo and Messi, considering aspects like position and achievements.

Ronaldo was quite happy to participate in this interview because he already knew they invited players with a good relationship with Chen Zhong. Yet, the first question is this?

Oh!

What!

You don’t think I have a bad relationship with Chen, do you?

We’ve had many nights sweating together!

Facing the camera, Ronaldo pulled out a smile and said, ”Messi’s performance is incredible; he is one of the greatest players in the world now and in the future.”

”But as for now, my age, height, and weight are stronger than his.”

”It’s my first year in Spain, I believe I’m doing well and confidently think I can become the world’s best player in the future.”

Ronaldo said this and then looked at the bright-eyed journalist before changing his tone, ”Anyone who moves in football knows it’s not an individual sport.”

”You compare me to Messi because we are both forwards.”

”Whether me or Messi, we both need our teammates’ support.”

”Barcelona’s cooperation has been there for many years, even starting from youth, while we need to gradually perfect it.”

”In the recent match, winning against Barcelona at the Camp Nou stadium was undoubtedly thanks to Chen Zhong’s outstanding performance.”

”I will become the world’s best striker, and Chen Zhong will become the world’s best midfielder.”

”Our collaboration will be very pleasant.”

Ronaldo couldn’t help but laugh heartily here, which made Negredo squint his eyes, and Kaka also restrained his smile.

Seeing Ronaldo so happy, the journalist threw another challenge, ”If losing to Barcelona wins the league championship, or defeating Barcelona but not winning the league championship, what would you choose?”

”As long as we win the title, I can sign and seal it now.” Ronaldo’s eyes sparkled as he said, ”It’s our first season, the club spent so much in the transfer window, it’s not acceptable if we don’t win a single title.”

”Of course, it would be better to beat Barcelona in the process.”

Perhaps because of Negredo and the increasingly darkened ties with the Real Madrid youth players, Ronaldo promptly changed his tone, and the journalist, upon noticing this, asked Negredo and other Real Madrid youth players the same question.

”Beat Barcelona.” Negredo replied firmly and added, ”Of course, it would be better to win the league championship.”

Cristiano Ronaldo restrained his smile and took a deep look at the Real Madrid youth players behind him, repeating Negredo’s words like a ”recorder,” gaining a deeper understanding of the ”opposition” between the two teams, and a new recognition of Real Madrid’s boldness.

A league championship is all, if you can fiercely beat Barcelona twice, not getting it is fine!

In the ensuing interview, they also inquired about the club players’ opinions on Chen Zhong, and when comparing Chen Zhong to Messi, they invariably expressed their support for Chen Zhong.

The journalist also realized that asking Negredo, Granero, or even Kaka, Ronaldo about these players wouldn’t find any ”points of interest.” So the attention turned to Higuain.

Higuain began to stand out for Real Madrid last season, and if not for Negredo and others this season, he should have become a key figure for the team.

Even with the limited chances, he frequently seized the opportunities and showed his striker instincts.

Some have even calculated that Higuain’s average scoring rate is a staggering one goal every 75 minutes, putting him at the top in Real Madrid’s historical efficiency.

However, this season, perhaps due to Chen Zhong’s appearance and Chen Zhong’s ”connections,” Higuain’s playing time has decreased, and he has become less ”selfish,” though many speculate that Higuain privately has conflicts with Chen Zhong.

After all, Higuain is firstly an Argentine and then a Real Madrid player.

When the journalist asked Higuain about Messi, Higuain said without hesitation, ”Both of them are very talented and great stars.”

”I’m happy to be teammates with both of them.”

”Chen Zhong is very strong physically; he is a reassuring presence in the team, both in attack and defense. Meanwhile, Messi’s dribbling is exceptional, always able to carry the ball wherever he wants to go, provided that place doesn’t have Chen Zhong.”

Higuain’s words brought laughter all around, especially since in the recent national derby, Messi hasn’t been short of suffering at Chen Zhong’s feet, though there are scenes of Messi playing tricks on Chen Zhong, but they’re few.

When a journalist asked Higuain what he thought about the team’s ”firing rights” and ”Golden Boot” issue.

Higuain paused and said, ”Saying I don’t want the Golden Boot is not objective and is a lie.”

”After all, it’s a recognition for forwards.”

”But last year, Fernando winning the award didn’t help Atletico Madrid win the title, so I remind myself, the more important thing is the team’s interest.”

”In the recently ended national derby, we noticed, there was once Chen Zhong in a better position, but you didn’t choose to pass and instead shot.” The journalist seemed to have set the trap, waiting for Higuain, and asked, ”Is it because of selfishness or you didn’t see it?”

”It’s not selfishness!”

Higuain’s face visibly reddened.

”As a forward, once entering the frontcourt or penalty area, the first instinct is to look for shooting opportunities, whether for yourself or for better-positioned teammates. Mistakes in choices are inevitable; this cannot simply be labeled as selfishness. I have a great relationship with Chen Zhong, and the team is very united.”

This interview also made domestic fans realize that Chen Zhong seems to have significant standing in Real Madrid’s locker room!

Especially fans who already watched Manchester United and Real Madrid’s matches last season, knowing Higuain and Ronaldo’s personalities.

They further issued...

A lot of question marks...
