I Am Scouted by Real Madrid

Chapter 368: Chapter 37: Get Up! Sissy! (Part 2)

In the face of such a situation, C. Ronaldo had a quick idea, his whole body soared, his hands braced on the ground and he fell...

”Beep~”

The referee blew the whistle.

Just as Barcelona fans protested loudly, and Real Madrid fans were grinning, the referee’s yellow card and the free kick decision immediately caused emotional polar reversals.

”Oh!”

”The referee blew decisively.”

”Is this going to be a penalty?”

”Hm? No!”

”Yellow card, dive.”

”The referee penalized C. Ronaldo for diving.”

”Gave him a yellow card.”

”That’s too decisive.”

”From this distance, he’s certain of C. Ronaldo’s dive?”

C. Ronaldo stared wide-eyed in disbelief at the referee, Pique beside him covered his mouth with one hand and reached for C. Ronaldo’s hand: ”You’re going to play this at Camp Nou?”

”I know you better than you.”

”I saw through your move long ago, the referee must have seen my leg retracting.”

”Damn it!” C. Ronaldo patted Pique’s hand and glanced at Chen Zhong looking this way, whispered: ”Be careful, we’re in a derby.”

Cristiano Ronaldo: Don’t do this, I’m afraid Chen misunderstands.

After the referee’s decision, the stands were filled with Real Madrid’s dissatisfaction, even though the game was at Camp Nou, your ”home whistle” was too obvious.

Did Barcelona bribe you?

Pellegrini saw C. Ronaldo’s effective offensive on the left, so he gestured from the sideline, signalling more left runs, letting the explosive C. Ronaldo attack Barcelona’s right side.

”Barcelona’s offense.”

”Real Madrid’s defense in midfield is very tight.”

”Baptista also returned for defense.”

Baptista, Chen Zhong, Alonso, Real Madrid now has three defensive midfielders, and undoubtedly Chen Zhong is going after the toughest Messi.

Pellegrini had privately talked to Chen Zhong before the match, saying if it’s about Messi, as long as it’s outside the box, anything goes.

Even proposed: ”Ball passes, person doesn’t.”

But Messi isn’t one to suffer for nothing, after seeing Chen Zhong slide tackle two of his teammates, he didn’t choose to break through one-on-one against Chen Zhong.

Instead, he passed the ball to his teammate Xavi.

However, Xavi facing Real Madrid’s ”bus” could only finish this attack with a long shot.

”Real Madrid changed tactics.”

”Now they’ve put more manpower on defense.”

”Then use C. Ronaldo and Kaka on the wings to attack Barcelona’s flanks.”

”That’s a smart move.”

Barcelona’s fullbacks like to overlap, which means they leave large spaces behind them.

Casillas kicks off, he didn’t choose a long pass, but gave the ball to Albiol, who passed it to Marcelo.

Marcelo dribbles down the wing, facing Xavi’s pressure, he returns the ball to the center.

Messi approached Chen Zhong, stretched out his short legs attempting a steal, Chen Zhong backed his hip, directly knocking Messi to the ground, then sent the ball straight through, aiming for behind Barcelona.

C. Ronaldo took the ball, cut inside, and was about to enter the box from Barcelona’s ribs when Busquets slid in from the side, tripping C. Ronaldo to the ground.

The camera clearly caught Busquets’ studs, it was a deliberate ”tactical foul.”

C. Ronaldo gritted his teeth and rubbed his calf muscles, while angrily looking at Busquets, who appeared innocent looking at the referee.

The referee blew the whistle, verbally warned Busquets, didn’t issue a card, and granted Real Madrid a prime free kick position.

On the other side, Chen Zhong had just turned and looked deeply at Busquets, then tilted his head at Messi still on the ground and reached out his hand.

Messi looked up at Chen Zhong, raised his hand slightly, and Chen Zhong pulled Messi up.

”You’re stealing from me?”

”What are you thinking?”

Messi glanced at Chen Zhong, opened his mouth, unsure what to say, rubbed his nose and ran off.

He...

He actually could steal the ball.

Previously, he stole the ball from Kaka in national team play, in some matches he also stole the ball, his legs may be short but they’re quick and low to the ground.

He can quickly insert between the ball and the player, taking advantage of players’ inattention to steal the ball from underfoot.

He can seize the moment to make off with the ball in one seamless move.

But, just never encountered someone like you...

As Messi ran, he kept watching Chen Zhong, observing this player praised often by Guardiola, he was truly sharp in his surroundings observation.

Always able to notice him.

”Real Madrid’s free kick!”

”C. Ronaldo stood in front without hesitation.”

”He has quite a knack for free kicks.”

Cristiano Ronaldo stood in front of the ball, arms out, then took one, two, three steps measuring the ground.

He took a deep breath, then exhaled heavily, starting his run-up, kicking.

”Boom!”

The ball hit Busquets straight on the head.

Busquets dizzyingly fell back and covered his face, moaning painfully on the ground.

The Barcelona stands erupted in boos, curses, even several objects thrown, some attempting to storm the pitch.

Some Barcelona players were rushing toward C. Ronaldo, others toward the referee, knowing C. Ronaldo already had a yellow card, if he got another one, Real Madrid would be a man down in just over ten minutes of play.

Barcelona would almost certainly defeat them and reclaim the top spot.

C. Ronaldo faced the rushing Barcelona players with disdain, yelling: ”What did I do? I didn’t do it on purpose.”

Pique among them was also advising his teammates, while other players gathered beside C. Ronaldo, Chen Zhong saw enough had gathered and didn’t join but strode directly to Busquets.

Busquets heard the commotion, peeked through his fingers, seemingly trying to decide if C. Ronaldo got booked, but instead saw a tall figure standing over him.

”Stand up!”

”Don’t be such a sissy!”

Busquets shielded his eyes with his hand, lying flat on the ground like playing dead.

Chen Zhong saw this, laughed, inserted his arms under Busquets’ armpits, and lifted Busquets up.

Busquets saw ”light” again, his daze lasted seconds before he realized what happened.

The ”ailing” Busquets revived instantly, struggled out of Chen Zhong’s hold, pushed his hands against Chen Zhong’s solid chest, then covered his mouth and cursed: ”What the hell!”

The players and referee’s attention turned to the two’s confrontation.

And Chen Zhong looked at Busquets with disdain: ”What did I do?”

”You’re not hurt, are you?”

”If you can play, play, if not, get off!”

Chen Zhong had no intention of blocking his words, saying boldly in front of the camera, his words destined to be translated by those experts.

Busquets glanced at the unabashed Chen Zhong, wanting to lower his hand to argue back, hesitated worrying about the discourse, cursed back furiously covering his mouth: ”Didn’t you see I got slammed?”

Players from both teams also joined the gathering.

Chen Zhong shouted unapologetically: ”You’re a wuss, aren’t you!”

”Who’s never been hit by a ball!”

”If you’re afraid of the ball, why are you a defensive player!”

”Is everyone here to watch you roll around? Get your head hit, hit back!”

”Don’t delay us playing.”
