I Am Scouted by Real Madrid

Chapter 357: Chapter 33: Ah! Huh?

Estadio Vicente Calderón

Chen Zhong was completely unaffected by the Atletico Madrid fans; he even started showing off some ”awkward” dance moves on the field.

The moment he executed a dribble fake, the Real Madrid fans let out sounds of surprise, while countless Atletico Madrid fans couldn’t control their emotions.

Atletico Madrid players performed all sorts of movements, attempting to block Chen Zhong’s shooting path.

However, Chen Zhong only ”pretended to shoot,” then in a spin, he used the heel of his other foot to kick the ball to Kaka, who was not far away.

Kaka continued without stopping the ball, driving it all the way to the edge of Atletico Madrid’s penalty area, and then, at the top of the box, he unleashed a curling shot with his right foot under no defensive pressure.

Atletico Madrid’s goalkeeper De Gea was very focused, quickly moving towards the spot where the ball was heading.

”This ball, should go out of bounds, right?”

Young De Gea thought so to himself, and then he heard a dull thump as the ball hit the post and rebounded into the net.

0:2

Real Madrid scored again.

The game was only 6 minutes in, and they had already secured a two-goal advantage.

Flores was stunned, staring blankly at De Gea in front of the goal, with thousands of words in his heart that he didn’t know how to express.

Meanwhile, some extreme Atletico Madrid fans in the stands couldn’t help but curse, with one even angrily shouting, ”What the hell are you posing for in front of the goal?”

Lacking match experience, the genius goalkeeper De Gea, facing Real Madrid’s aggressive attacks, ”helped” Real Madrid score two goals with a blunder and misjudgment.

Kaka, after scoring, first thanked God, then pointed to Chen Zhong, and the two ran towards the corner flag.

An excited Kaka patted Chen Zhong’s back, gesturing for him to go forward. Chen Zhong glanced at the beaming Kaka and slapped Kaka’s butt before obediently walking to the front.

Kaka leaped onto Chen Zhong’s back, raising his right hand high, his entire face radiant with joy.

Not far away, Marcelo watched this scene, feeling as though his whole head was covered by clouds.

Clearly, I, Marcelo, am also on the field, so why do you favor Kaka alone, Chen? Is passing the ball to me not an option?

Meanwhile, in the Sports City, Cristiano Ronaldo, who couldn’t come to watch the match live due to injury, unhappily smashed the cup he was holding onto the ground, looking depressed.

Chen, have you forgotten about me convalescing at the Sports City?

Clearly, every long night was spent with just the two of us sweating it out on the training ground.

Chen Zhong, handsome in appearance and strong in physique, and most importantly, still very young...

Before having in-depth interactions with Chen Zhong, C. Ronaldo inevitably thought Kaka was the world’s most handsome and outstanding athlete, but now, if you were to ask C. Ronaldo who is the best athlete, he would certainly say Chen Zhong. He is also convinced that if anyone asked Chen Zhong who the best athlete in the world is, Chen Zhong would also say him, right?

He definitely would, right?

After this setback, Atletico Madrid seemed completely stunned, with some players wanting to attack and others wanting to defend. This disunity and impatience threw Atletico Madrid into disarray, both on offensive and defensive ends.

”During his time at Milan, Kaka’s sprinting ability was very powerful.”

”And after joining Real Madrid, in addition to his powerful sprinting ability, he unlocked mid-range shooting capabilities.”

”This is not the first time he has tried from this position.”

”Real Madrid is gradually gaining control over the flow of the game.”

Atletico Madrid couldn’t comprehend Real Madrid’s attack strategies at all. By the 20th minute, Atletico Madrid, who were completely isolated on both the front and midfield, had no choice but to let players like Aguero drop back to receive the ball.

”(#`O′) Hey!”

Aguero skillfully searched for spaces, raising his right hand high to signal his teammates to pass the ball over.

But on the path of the ball, Chen Zhong suddenly ”slid in” from the side, directly intercepting it.

Aguero slammed on the brakes, quickly closing in on Chen Zhong, then Chen Zhong jabbed the ball with his leg from the ground to poke it to Alonso, who without stopping, sent a direct pass.

The ball reached Benzema on the right side of the penalty area; Benzema twisted a couple of times, pretending to pass the ball inside to Higuain, fooling Atletico Madrid’s defending players.

But in reality, he passed the ball to Marcelo, who was running through from the side. Marcelo, upon receiving the ball, quickly headed towards the small box of Atletico Madrid.

”Real Madrid’s attack.”

”Continuous passing coordination.”

”Benzema!”

”Fake pass, to Marcelo.”

”Marcelo facing the goalkeeper.”

”Takes the shot!”

This was an excellent opportunity; Marcelo faced the goalkeeper alone, and no one can resist such a chance not to shoot.

But...

Marcelo held back!

He kept an eye on Chen Zhong; even before he inserted into the penalty area, he had already noticed Chen Zhong sprinting toward the large penalty area. When he received the ball at the baseline, a possible running path for Chen Zhong had already formed in Marcelo’s mind.

Marcelo didn’t hesitate for a second, passing the ball towards the vicinity of the center circle under the double coverage of the goalkeeper and defensive players.
