Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

(ps: My wife is about to give birth, and these days I’m staying with her during her pregnancy. There are so many things to busy with; it’s our first time dealing with the little one who hasn’t even been born yet. Without much experience, I’m often in a flurry... So I can’t guarantee the amount of updates. I hope things will be better after this month... I might even need to take two days off, just a heads up. Please understand!)

How could Batur not be shocked?

He can also pull back this 120-pound bow, and seemingly with much more ease than Li Younan. But his weight probably is close to double that of Li Younan.

When it comes to strength alone, he can’t be considered an ordinary person. With powerlifting events like the hard pull and squat, he starts at 300 kilograms.

But how big is Li Younan? To Batur, that’s like a palm-sized body.

At the moment, after Li Younan shot that arrow, he couldn’t pull the bow a second time in a short span; the last arrow almost exhausted all his stamina.

Batur frowned as he retrieved the bow, casually touching Li Younan’s arm, showing a puzzled expression.

With such a physique, he certainly doesn’t seem frail among ordinary people.

If Li Younan took off his shirt, the muscle lines he ought to have would be very nice, but in Batur’s understanding, someone who can pull a 120-pound bow shouldn’t have arms like these.

Of course, he also knows the principle of nerve recruitment ability. Perhaps indeed some people are naturally gifted in this area.

He couldn’t help but wonder in his heart, could it be that the Li Younan in front of him is a congenital sports prodigy?

Thinking back to Li Younan’s performance and talent in parkour and skiing, some admiration rose in his heart.

Batur’s original thought was to satisfy the curiosity of netizens, letting a naturally accurate shooter experience what it’s like to try an ancient traditional strong bow. He didn’t expect Li Younan to be able to pull it.

Right now, not only did Li Younan pull it, but he hit the target with his first arrow. Although it wasn’t a bullseye, it was at a distance of more than 50 meters!

No doubt, as long as you add some catchy copy, this video can easily go viral.

Having gotten the desired material, Batur was naturally very happy, asking Li Younan about his feelings on camera, and assured him that the 300-yuan bonus would definitely be given.

As a half-fan of Li Younan, Batur also knows that Li Younan has many identity tags. Half-jokingly, he said, ”In the future, I think you’ll have to add archer to your list of identities.”

His wife was very happy. Today’s video shooting went very smoothly, and she planned to work overtime at night to edit the video.

The matter was over, and after turning off the equipment, Batur somewhat bashfully said to Li Younan, ”Brother, you also know I came over this time to catch some of your traffic, please don’t mind...”

Li Younan laughed heartily, not minding such a small matter. Suddenly reminded of Lan Yiyi and Chen Rui discussing script matters, he had a flash of inspiration, looked at Batur, and asked, ”Did you travel hundreds of kilometers here, planning to leave right away? I mean, I have an interesting project here, do you have any interest...”

Batur and his wife exchanged a glance.

...

How quickly can a short film be shot?

Once the script is formed, the next step is to prepare the necessary props, personnel, and equipment.

For Lan Yiyi, who comes from an acting background, this isn’t difficult.

Though she has never been a director, she’s clear about the general process of filming and the required content.

And Chen Rui, who even majored in directing and screenplay, has studied and understood the essence of the most advanced industrialized films. Although this place can’t reach the level of an industrialized film, a small studio is easy enough to set up.

For a short film, a small studio suffices.

Batur and his wife discussed it, and immediately agreed to play the ultimate villain in a friendly cameo in the play.

From his perspective, this was also a mutually beneficial affair.

If this short film goes viral, he himself might get some attention and can also promote his experience shop along the way.

Especially ancient armor, this stuff needs to be custom-made; it’s not something you can just buy on Taobao.

His wife also has expertise in this area and joined the director group, taking on the role of props director.

The couple cheerfully had their shop staff and coaches bring a few sets of armor over.

During this process, Chen Rui gradually matured, consistently thinking about everything related to shooting the short film.

This is much more fun than any university practical activity, but also more exhausting.

The next day, she organized everyone selected as extras together and formally began rehearsing.

For Li Younan, this is a great experience.

Besides seeing different landscapes, meeting various interesting people, and another joy of travel is experiencing all kinds of interesting things.

Although it’s impossible to become a lead in the entertainment industry, for self-amusement, playing a male lead in a short film is still feasible.

The role Li Younan was assigned, in name, is the male lead, but basically, he has very few lines.

Chen Rui and the others set this character as a guard protecting Xing Bingyi, with a complete character arc growth line.

The later setting is that he gradually grows into a trustworthy Grand General... of course, this part doesn’t involve the first season.
