Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

In the evening, we stayed at a famous local hotel where we could taste Russian cuisine.

Of course, so-called Russian cuisine might not be authentic.

Li Younan was well-versed in cooking, including Russian dishes, which he naturally knew well.

When it comes to taste, it certainly doesn’t match one percent of Chinese cuisine.

The place was extremely cold, and the food was high in calories, emphasizing big bites of bread and swigs of vodka. The sausages were also a bit more solid than those elsewhere.

As for the taste...

The Russian dishes at this hotel tasted somewhat like those in the neighboring hairy country, but they hadn’t mastered the essence of the portion sizes.

But Huang Xiaoyang and Dan Dan seemed quite satisfied. Huang Xiaoyang even earnestly commented, ”It’s indeed quite authentic Russian food.”

Regarding this, Li Younan certainly didn’t argue, just musing to himself, Huang Xiaoyang, oh Huang Xiaoyang, just the same old you.

This trip has been extremely relaxing for Li Younan.

The itinerary was all arranged by Huang Xiaoyang, so he didn’t have to worry about anything. No matter how tired he was during the day, a good night’s sleep would recharge him completely, and he’d be ready for the next day’s journey. It was pretty nice.

In the evening, Lan Yiyi sent a message.

This time, Lan Yiyi didn’t talk about the video content but asked when he’d be free.

Li Younan asked her back when she would be free.

Lan Yiyi thought for a moment and replied, ”Then, in a while, I’ll contact you in advance.”

Li Younan thanked her, saying, ”Then I won’t be polite.”

A horse, especially their Mongolian horse, hasn’t been overly inflated in price. The trouble isn’t in buying it, but in the cost and space needed to care for it.

After putting down the phone, Lan Yiyi sat up from the bed and played with her feet.

After a while, she maintained this posture and fell back, still holding her feet, while her eyes drifted to the ceiling.

If Li Younan had a horse with her, that would mean a point of connection between them.

She knew very well that someone like Li Younan could never enter such a messy place as the entertainment industry.

If it weren’t for an obsession with Hua Mulan constantly haunting her, Lan Yiyi would have wanted to leave this troublesome place too.

Her goal is to someday play Hua Mulan, or if not Hua Mulan, at least a female general or heroine on horseback, just to experience that atmosphere. That would be fulfilling, and she could retire from the industry with peace.

Compared to acting, for Lan Yiyi, it was still more enjoyable to be a little lazy at home, feeding horses, chopping wood, lying flat... Even traveling the world can be a bit tiring.

After a while, she exerted strength with her waist and sat up again, with the excitement in her eyes gradually fading.

What next?

Having a point of connection with Li Younan, and then, what next?

She knew very well that she didn’t have a deep bond with Li Younan, just a few encounters, and her understanding of him was limited to videos, while he knew nothing about her.

She was just a shallow woman, simply liking to look at Li Younan’s handsome face, but aside from all that, what next?

To pursue him? It didn’t seem to have reached that level yet...

Then... get to know him better?

She sighed slightly, realizing it was indeed a bothersome question.

Forget it. If she couldn’t figure it out, she’d stop thinking about it and started considering which horse to give to Li Younan.

He looked handsome riding a black horse, hmm, how about the name ’Chasing Wind’? Or maybe ’Shadow’?

Thinking about the names of those horses, a satisfied smile appeared again and again on Lan Yiyi’s lips.

...

By mid-October, the grasslands of Hulun Bei’er had already shed their green, with a vast, earth-toned yellow in sight.

The departure time today was a bit late. The original plan was to leave at nine in the morning, so we could reach Heishantou by around four in the afternoon.

However, there was an unexpected situation in the morning, when the hot water suddenly stopped while Dan Dan was showering.

But she insisted on finishing her shower, which took a couple more hours, and by the time we left, it was almost eleven o’clock.

Ruining Huang Xiaoyang’s plan made Dan Dan feel a bit embarrassed.

However, when we set off, Huang Xiaoyang didn’t blame Dan Dan. He calmly said, ”The plan is to make the travel experience better, we shouldn’t lose sight of the goal and complete the plan just for the sake of completing it.”

Upon hearing this, Li Younan was a bit surprised.

But then, Huang Xiaoyang looked meaningfully at Li Younan and said, ”Why are you looking at me like that? Aren’t you someone like that?”

Li Younan was momentarily stunned. Indeed, such words would be something he, Li Younan, would say.

And Li Younan has always had this attitude, influenced by his mother.

Thinking this way, it seemed that Huang Xiaoyang had been influenced by him.

Li Younan smiled, saying nothing.

Then, they officially set off.

Li Younan drove the Yangwang U8, starting from Shiwei, heading towards Heishantou along the border line close to the Erguna River.

Li Younan glanced at Huang Xiaoyang and Dan Dan in the rearview mirror.

Huang Xiaoyang still maintained his calm demeanor, but it was clearly evident that Dan Dan was already a bit tired.

Not long after getting into the car, she leaned on Huang Xiaoyang’s shoulder and fell asleep.

Today’s journey would be relatively long and tiring, from Shiwei to Heishantou, along the border line, not all the roads were smooth throughout.
