Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

He nonchalantly said, ”Brother, don’t be afraid, my skills are great. Just now, everything was under control. I’m just used to riding fast horses on the grassland, hahaha, you guys are just not accustomed...”

Pa! Lan Yiyi slapped the front seat’s backrest, she couldn’t stand it anymore: ”Stop the car, stop the car!”

The young man was stunned for a moment and obediently pulled the car over to the side of the road.

Then Lan Yiyi opened the car door and got out to vomit. Originally, Chen Rui didn’t feel like throwing up, but seeing this scene, she also opened the car door and got out.

Once back in the car, Lan Yiyi snapped: ”Kid, you sit in the back!”

Li Younan chuckled, got out from the passenger seat.

Then, under the young man’s pitiful gaze, Li Younan took the driver’s seat.

The young man kept muttering, ”Sister Lan, if you can’t handle even this speed on a car, how can you ride fast on a horse? At the horse farm’s race festival next year, we again have no hope for the speed race...”

”Shut your mouth.”

”Okay, Sister Lan.”

Li Younan found it amusing and quickly entered driving mode.

Once he started driving, the two girls no longer felt dizzy, even though in reality, Li Younan was not driving slowly, and on many segments, he drove much faster than the young man.

Lan Yiyi snorted and said, ”See what real driving skills are? Faster than you, yet steadier than you, learn well!”

”I’m used to riding horses, so...”

”Still arguing, are you that good at riding horses?”

...

About an hour and a half later, the car arrived at Lan Yiyi’s family’s horse farm.

This horse farm is the largest in the area, and relatively speaking, the most professional.

Inside the farm, there are quite a few fenced circular areas used for training tourists to ride horses.

This kind of space ensures horses won’t suddenly go berserk and provides enough distance for tourists to learn the most basic riding skills.

Outside, there’s a track circling the horse farm, much longer than a school’s athletic track.

A thin layer of snow has already accumulated on the ground, and the workers they hired are moving feed from a big truck into the nearby stables.

Not all horse farm owners can afford such professional stables.

Because the workers were unloading feed and other materials needed in the stables, it wasn’t convenient to go there, so they took a walk around nearby, chatting casually.

Li Younan also roughly understood the situation of Lan Yiyi’s family’s horse farm.

In winter, the stables are essential.

A lot of the horses in Lan Yiyi’s family are from other places, not only local Mongolian horses. There are many breeds — Ili Horses, Hequ Horses, and even one horse with Arabian bloodline. Some horses need to be tended in temperature-controlled stables.

Lan Yiyi told Li Younan that in recent years, Inner Mongolia has been vigorously developing horse culture, hosting various competitions and cultural festivals. As Xilinhot, known as ”Horse Capital,” naturally development of the horse industry is a leading project.

The direction of reform is professionalization, gradually regulating the previously rampant horse farms.

Li Younan was very aware of these things. In fact, Inner Mongolia has unique conditions for developing the equestrian industry.

Not to mention the place is suitable for horse breeding, with a large number of horses, and the local riding culture has a foundation.

With improved living conditions now, especially people from places like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, those pursuing quality life mostly delight in exploring new things.

They have money, but getting them to spend is not easily done.

It’s necessary to gradually align with international standards, transforming previous rough management into refined and upscale.

As well-known entrepreneurs in the area, Lan Yiyi’s family responded to the government’s call, becoming the pioneers in exploration... From Lan Yiyi’s description, that was the general situation.

However, Lan Yiyi’s parents mostly don’t live here, and management is fully entrusted to Lan Yiyi’s uncle.

Lan Yiyi grew up here, would come back spending time playing each year.

Arriving here, it genuinely became Lan Yiyi’s domain.

The equestrian coaches working here and some workers all show Lan Yiyi enough respect.

The experience here differed greatly from riding horses in Hulun Bei’er previously.

Basically, her words are final, her mood is the most important.

The snow on the ground didn’t hinder their horse riding. Chen Rui, visiting Inner Mongolia for the first time and being close to horses for the first time, was curiously looking around.

Not long after, the young man who picked up Lan Yiyi earlier, under Lan Yiyi’s arrangement, brought a batch of bay horses, said to be the most docile here, for them to experience.

Mostly for Chen Rui to experience.

He briefly explained to Chen Rui some basics like mounting and dismounting a saddle and let her try on her own.

Chen Rui climbed nervously onto the horse’s back, settled her mood for a moment while on top.

The young man further explained to Chen Rui the riding techniques for a while, she listened intently, and Li Younan suspected she had never been this focused when studying physics.

The horse beneath her seemed a bit bored, lowering its head to lick the thin snow on the ground.

After a while, Chen Rui said she understood, grasped the reins, and at the spot, nudged a couple of times, with legs lightly kicking on both sides of the horse’s belly.

The horse lifted its head, looked left and right, then lowered its head to continue licking the snow.
