Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

If they’re interested, Li Younan would certainly be happy to help, but if Lan Yiyi herself has a nonchalant attitude, then this matter seems rather insignificant.

While thinking about these things, Li Younan recorded a lot of what he saw at the horse stable on his mobile phone.

In the evening, they decided to stay directly at Lan Yiyi’s horse stable.

Lan Yiyi arranged a guest room each for Li Younan and Chen Rui, where they continued discussing the script.

Under Coach Xiaowang’s guidance, Li Younan went to have a look at the horse hoof trimming room.

Because Coach Xiaowang had specifically told Li Younan they would be trimming the hooves of a batch of horses tonight, and asked if he wanted to go watch.

Li Younan said seriously to Coach Xiaowang, ”I guess not many guys would refuse this, right?”

Coach Xiaowang immediately burst into laughter.

How many guys slow down to stop on videos of immersive horse hoof trimming, carpet cleaning, or Sword Forging Competition?

The one being trimmed today is a black horse.

With permission, Li Younan began filming with his phone.

The groom patted the horse’s neck and softly calmed it.

The black horse appeared very restless, constantly shifting its weight between its legs.

The forehoove that Old Yang focused on had a visibly overlong keratin layer, edges curling and cracking, some places even slightly upturned revealing darker gaps underneath.

The sound of its hooves hitting the ground was dull and dragged, unlike other well-shoed horses that sounded crisp and sharp.

Frankly, seeing such a hoof made Li Younan want to pick it off.

The lifted hoof hung in the air; the thick old keratin on the hoof sole was hard and dry, full of cracks and dirt, edges worn unevenly, the hoof center even showed dark color and slight indentation in some spots.

The air fell silent, only the horse snorted anxiously occasionally.

Old Yang’s old pliers bit onto the edge of the worn-out horseshoe, with a sudden pry, ”crack”, the warped, almost embedded metal piece came off, landing on the ground.

He picked up the thin-bladed hoof knife, snug against the hoof sole.

”Scratch, scratch, scratch.”

The knife blade precisely cut into the overly thick, dry, yellowed old keratin, each slice rolled up a layer of stubborn, bark-like debris.

Li Younan watched the steady peeling of the knife; with each ”scratch” sound, a piece of redundant, cumbersome, maybe uncomfortable dead skin during walking was removed, peeled, and fell.

Every cut felt relieving.

As the layer upon layer of hard shell binding the hoof, possibly making it uncomfortable for a long time, was peeled away, revealing the moist and healthy pale yellow new keratin layer below, a strange lightness seemed to pass from the hoof to him, silently seeping into his bone crevices.

Li Younan showed a mysterious smile... relieved.

Watching live was much more satisfying than seeing the video.

The cleaning was complete, but it wasn’t over yet.

Old Yang straightened up, heading for the coke furnace.

The fire was strong, he used long tongs to clamp out a dark red horseshoe, pressing it onto the reshaped hoof surface.

”Sizzle—!”

A burst of blue smoke rose rapidly, carrying a strong burnt smell.

But when the horseshoe was transferred, it left a clear, perfect scorched imprint on the hoof surface.

This scene was truly satisfying.

Old Yang picked up a heavy-headed square hammer, holding several large square head nails in his mouth.

The first nail aimed at the small hole on the horseshoe edge, the hammer raised and fell.

”Clang!”

The sound was bright and solid.

”Clang! Clang! Clang!”

The new horseshoe was nailed in place, Old Yang checked the nail heads, filed off burrs, and lowered the horse’s leg.

The black horse tentatively tapped the ground.

”Clop, clop.”

Perfect.

...

The first day at Lan Yiyi’s horse stable was overall very leisurely.

In the evening, staying in the guest room, Li Younan sent jk Long the video shot today.

The experiences at the horse stable, slightly edited, were pretty good material.

Coincidentally, jk Long also had something for Li Younan, ”There’s one thing that needs you to layout.”

Then jk Long briefly mentioned that he had negotiated collaboration with a famous domestic electrolyte beverage company for the ski video he shot earlier.

The final negotiated price made Li Younan somewhat speechless.

300,000.

One advertisement was 300,000, but the other party had one condition: all future sports-related videos must prioritize partnership with their company for beverage ads.

Li Younan thought for a while, asked jk Long, ”What do you think?”

Jk Long casually replied, ”I think it’s fine, this collaboration is very flexible, originally just partnering with the highest bidder, no definitive terms, they only have priority but not exclusive rights to cooperate.”

Li Younan said, ”Then let’s do that.”

Li Younan glanced at his fan count, now reaching an astonishing over 2 million; he’s truly a major influencer now.

The number of influencers with a million fans across the internet was limited; in this arena, those with more influence than him were not many.

Counting all, he’s been a streamer for less than half a year; this achievement is already very remarkable.

Of course, the ceiling for travel bloggers isn’t very high; someone like Lan Zhanfei with many elements is at a higher level, while for Li Younan, progressing further becomes increasingly difficult.

However, regarding fan count and earning ability, Li Younan always maintained a mindset that having them is great, but it’s okay if not.
