Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Good gear certainly helps with fishing, but for someone like Li Younan and his level of fishing, the improvement is quite limited.

He doesn’t aim for winning or losing in competitions by slim margins, so there’s no need to buy expensive fishing gear. After picking out the fishing equipment, Li Younan decided to send it back home.

After finishing this task, he checked the time and realized that several hours had already passed by in a flash.

Having just acquired the skill, Li Younan was still a bit excited and couldn’t fall asleep, so he opened the video platform again to check how well his recently uploaded video was doing.

The video was somewhat embarrassing, and the eye-catching title made Li Younan a bit reluctant to face it. However, he knew it was a good way to gain traffic.

According to normal thought processes, when people encounter such an audacious title, regardless of whether out of curiosity or just to come in and criticize him, they would patiently take a look at the video.

As expected, in just a few hours, the video had already amassed over six figures in views.

Li Younan opened the comment section, and sure enough, the topic everyone was discussing revolved around whether this guy really had a talent for archery.

The first batch of comments naturally came from his previous loyal fans. Li Younan had a large number of female fans who had limited understanding of archery, so they didn’t grasp the value of arm strength, stability, and other aspects needed for archery. They just saw the result, which was Li Younan, under the coach’s guidance, being able to hit the bullseye steadily with just a few tries.

From the angle of the video shot by Dan Dan, the arrows released by Li Younan didn’t fly in a straight line but instead drew a curve with a somewhat unpredictable trajectory, which visually had an impactful effect. This made them collectively leave comments like ”So cool,” providing full emotional value.

As Li Younan continued watching, some commenters known for their humorous jabs once again showcased their talents in the popular video.

”Got it! I suggest the host add a new travel program: Challenge local archery booths! Owner: Seeing you walk over with a ten-ring record as soon as I opened, I switched the balloons to iron sheets overnight!”

”Houyi (V certified): Bro, back when I was shooting suns, it felt exactly like your video! Leave a contact, next time I’ll call you for ’big gigs’ like ten suns.”

”First time? Beginner? I don’t believe it! Unless you prove it by shooting with your foot! Blindfolded! Upside down! Otherwise, you’re the instructor from the imperial guards of some dynasty!”

”Coach: I’d like to learn this too...”

Watching these videos, Li Younan couldn’t help but admire the creativity of netizens these days.

For those obviously funny comments, Li Younan generously gave them a like.

Suddenly, Li Younan noticed a long-winded comment that didn’t have many likes.

The host has pretty good archery talent, but the poundage of the bow used is quite low, probably around 20 - 30 pounds. As a beginner, shooting accurately is not a problem and indeed shows talent. But if you want to progress, I still recommend trying a higher poundage bow. I’m a professional archery coach with bows up to 150 pounds at home, and you’re welcome to experience it at my place!

Having mastered archery, Li Younan knew very well what 150 pounds meant.

Such a powerful bow is something most people can’t even draw.

The poundage of a bow determines its power. To put it simply, anything over 50 pounds is considered a high-poundage bow.

Beginners usually use bows below 30 pounds for experience and learning, but to have enough destructive power, you still need a high-poundage bow.

Many people have a misconception about ancient archers, thinking they were just fragile long-range fighters.

That’s a huge misunderstanding. In ancient times, those who could draw bows over 100 pounds were far stronger than ordinary soldiers.

So, in reality, archers in close combat were much stronger than infantry.

However, in modern times, due to compound bows, a force of twenty or thirty pounds can achieve the strength of a fifty or sixty-pound bow.

With his current archery skills, Li Younan can ensure accuracy with an 80-pound draw without deformation.

He can pull even higher poundage, but after two or three arrows, he wouldn’t be able to continue.

But with a compound bow, his current strength allows him to easily handle the power of a 150-pound compound bow.

The power of such a bow can pierce through armor within 80 meters, and its trajectory is much straighter compared to lower-poundage bows.

Back in the day, Flying General Li Guang used a hundred-pound bow to shoot into a stone lion.

Thanks to the power of technology, Li Younan can achieve such results with less than 100 pounds of force.

However, compared to higher-level masters and even legendary figures, like Lu Bu shooting the halberd from a long distance using at least several hundred-pound bows, to ensure accuracy at that range...

Even mighty Zhang Fei, after witnessing Lu Bu’s arrow skills, could only morally condemn Lu Bu. That level is far beyond what Li Younan can reach.

Curious, Li Younan clicked into this person’s homepage and was a bit surprised to find that this commenter was also a video creator. Though he didn’t have as many fans, only a few tens of thousands, he was a Mongolian named Batur with a burly physique.
