Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

”Anyway, it’s a period of humiliation in the historical memory of the Han nationality.” After a pause, Li Younan said, ”And Xing Bingyi was Zhao Gou’s first wife.”

”During the Jingkang Incident, she and Zhao Gou’s biological mother, Consort Wei, were captured by the Jurchens and taken north. She endured suffering in the Five Kingdoms City and died without returning south. Zhao Gou posthumously made her Empress.”

”She came from a noble family and married Zhao Gou when he was King Kang. In ancient times, women were young when they got married, probably around eighteen or nineteen.”

Chen Rui and Lan Yiyi couldn’t help but be moved. They couldn’t imagine what kind of humiliation a noblewoman of such standing would endure when taken to such a place in that era...

Li Younan sighed slightly. Talking about history always evokes a tinge of melancholy: ”This woman is one of the symbolic figures of the immense humiliation of the Southern Song at its beginning, her fate extremely tragic.”

Then Li Younan looked at Chen Rui and Lan Yiyi and said, ”If Hua Mulan travels through time and becomes Xing Bingyi...”

”This would be a story like this...”

”It begins with the return of a war goddess in desperate circumstances, transforming from a captured, helpless woman into Hua Mulan, a master of skills, strategic warfare, with a will of steel—a powerful opening.”

”Next, she becomes the leader resisting the Jurchens in the north; Mulan is reborn within the captured group or after reaching the north. She can use her martial prowess, military command skills, and indomitable will to secretly organize Song captives to resist or escape.”

”When conditions permit, she might even raise a small volunteer army to cause trouble for the Jurchens in the north, becoming a thorn in their side.”

”Using her knowledge of the Jurchens’ internal affairs to relay intelligence to the south.”

”Protecting fellow captured royal family members and civilians, becoming their spiritual support and actual protector.”

”Interacting with the Southern Song regime, her existence and actions would greatly influence the Southern Song court and Zhao Gou. Yue Fei and other war advocates might gain stronger evidence and support, while Zhao Gou’s stance would be quite complicated.”

Li Younan found himself getting more and more passionate as he spoke, his eyes lighting up: ”This would be the ultimate interpretation of a heroic woman. In the darkest abyss, carving out a path with iron and blood to protect compatriots and avenge national humiliation... epic, passionate, a turnaround. This thrill... makes me tremble all over.”

”Not the kind of woman relying on men, but a true heroine...”

After listening to Li Younan’s narration, the two girls were silent for a long time, exchanging glances, seemingly processing it.

Li Younan rubbed his nose. This reaction... not excited at all?

Only later did the two girls become excited; Lan Yiyi murmured, ”Xing Bingyi. Xing Bingyi, Empress Xing, this story is really... super cool!”

Chen Rui also nodded solemnly: ”Just hearing this story outline makes me feel thrilled.”

Lan Yiyi nodded earnestly: ”In the end, fight back... reunite with her husband!”

”Huh? Zhao Gou, better not at all...” Chen Rui had a strong opinion about Zhao Gou.

Li Younan’s expression froze slightly.

Alright, in the end, it still has to return to the romantic line, doesn’t it?

...

Li Younan managed to get the two girls excited, their faces flushed, mood spirited.

They chattered away, discussing the plot.

Chen Rui, being a girl with a scientific mindset, possessed a natural advantage in logical thinking when it came to scriptwriting.

Based on the story framework Li Younan had just elaborated, many ideas popped into her mind.

She had taken courses in directing and had a knack for creating scripts that could be filmed.

And Lan Yiyi, being an actress by profession, naturally created a wonderful chemical reaction during their discussion, sparking inspiration, brainstorming, creativity flowing everywhere.

After getting off their horses, they didn’t stop at all, somewhat neglecting Li Younan.

Seeing this scene, Li Younan felt a little speechless.

At this time, the unloading of supplies at the horse ranch was almost complete, so they could go in to see the horses.

The staff came over to call Lan Yiyi, and she reluctantly ended the discussion with Chen Rui.

At this point, Li Younan also realized that Lan Yiyi and Chen Rui had completely broken the ice and become good friends.

The whimsical idea about Hua Mulan traveling through time to become Empress Xing was inspired by the bizarre notion they came up with about Mulan traveling through time to become Consort Hua. Combining it with a grand male epic, it was an impromptu concept they constructed without thinking much beyond.

But seeing their eagerness, they seemed quite serious about creating this story.

Things were getting interesting...

Yes, Lan Yiyi playing Hua Mulan traveling through time to become Xing Bingyi... quite spirited.

...

In the afternoon, Lan Yiyi took Li Younan to see the batch of foals.

Li Younan finally saw the adorable little horse that was theoretically already his.

At first sight, Li Younan knew he liked the little one.

Upon seeing him, the little horse immediately approached, curiously looking him over.

The mare wasn’t nearby, but the little thing seemed unafraid and lively, letting Li Younan play with it.

Li Younan nodded with satisfaction: ”I like this little guy!”

Lan Yiyi was quite pleased with this outcome.

However, she wasn’t as attentive to Li Younan now, saying to him, ”You play with it for a while, and if you have any questions, just ask Uncle Zhang.” Uncle Zhang was the man in charge of managing the stables.
