Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

But such a realm can only be understood by experts.

Li Younan didn’t use any complex techniques, just a simple edge change, or even the beginner’s falling leaf technique.

On this beginner slope, with so many people, there’s really no need to ski too fast.

Yet even so, it still surprised Chen Rui, who had fallen all the way.

The two slid directly to the hotel entrance, and Chen Rui took off her goggles and said, ”You’re quite impressive, coming down from up there without falling once.”

Li Younan grinned, ”Didn’t I tell you, what is my nickname again...”

Chen Rui frowned: ”Zero Degree Artist.”

Li Younan laughed heartily, ”Ah yes, that’s it, you remember it well.”

Chen Rui couldn’t help but roll her eyes. She jumped off her board and got ready to return it temporarily, saying, ”Next, we will go separate ways. I’ll return the board, you go directly to the hotel to change clothes, once I return the board and change my clothes, I’ll come to find you, and we’ll go have lunch.”

...

Back in the hotel room, Chen Rui took off her clothes.

The heating in the hotel was ample, warm and cozy.

She stripped completely naked and walked to the mirror in the bathroom.

The skin in the mirror was snow-white, but she wasn’t focused on that.

Her eyes turned to her arms, elbows, there were several bruises.

Then she gently gathered her long hair to the front, turned around to look at her back, her rounded buttocks similarly had two purplish-red bruises. She touched them, lightly bit her lip.

She turned on the shower in the bathroom, and shortly after, the water heated up, spewing steam.

She immersed herself under the water stream, feeling the hot flow coursing over her body, and gave a slight smile.

Today’s experience was really great; she had never skied before, but how should she put it, it was easier than expected.

Although she fell quite a bit today, it was worth it. At least, sliding down from the slope, as long as she was a bit careful, was doable.

Her current skills were still quite rudimentary and required quite a lot of energy to control the snowboard.

At the ski resort, seeing those people who could control their bodies freely on snow, she felt a bit envious; perhaps that’s when one can truly enjoy the fun of skiing.

But that’s okay, Chen Rui was very confident that she would master the skiing techniques in the coming days.

Then she thought of Li Younan, scrunched her nose, he sure could ski, but it was likely because he skied timidly. Such a slow speed certainly made falling less likely.

She knew Li Younan was very smart, smart people are very good at evaluating the environment, and doing risk management.

Actually, to ski so comfortably like him seemed quite enjoyable.

But still, one needs a certain speed to experience more fun.

She then laughed again, but it seemed everyone pursued different things, Li Younan didn’t seem like he had the spirit of an adventurer... haha.

Today, after she fell, she immediately stood back up.

Although she couldn’t see Li Younan’s expression through the goggles, his body language indicated that he was a bit surprised.

Haha, maybe he had never seen a girl as brave as her.

Although Chen Rui didn’t think it was an extraordinary feat, it felt a little satisfying to surprise Li Younan.

Plus, ”Zero Degree Artist”... quite inspiring.

...

In the next few days, starting from the most basic ski slopes, gradually transitioning to slightly advanced beginner slopes, Chen Rui’s progress was evident.

While skiing on the slopes, without considering other tourists, she could basically avoid falling.

Of course, the more complex ones, like edgework and snow plow turns, she hadn’t mastered yet, but it didn’t affect her ability to pick up speed and ski freely, which felt great.

However, it was not without encountering danger.

Though beginner slopes were generally controllable in terms of danger, accidents still happened frequently at ski resorts every year.

The main danger wasn’t her own skills but reckless beginners on the slopes.

Pure beginners were fine, as most of them weren’t good at skiing and were timid. It’s those who learned a bit yet not skillfully, and were bold and liked to show off.

From high places they rushed down, reaching a certain speed where they completely lost control of their snowboard.

Li Younan and Chen Rui once encountered one, who was a gentleman weighing an estimated over 200 pounds.

That person initially was taking selfies with a selfie stick upstairs. After a while, when Li Younan and Chen Rui were nearing the foot of the mountain, he quickly slid down from above.

He didn’t ski in a Z-shape but came straight down, obviously a reckless beginner.

At that moment, Chen Rui was proudly showcasing to Li Younan a skill she had successfully performed two or three times.

Though the posture wasn’t quite right, like a genuine snow-touching squat, but with her rear sticking out, bent over, the kind that would get laughed at by seasoned skiers. Still, Li Younan gave high praise.

Then suddenly, they saw that reckless person crashing down, bumping into a skiing young lady, and himself falling.

Even after falling, he kept sliding downward, with increasing speed.

Li Younan reacted extremely fast, in just a moment, he had predicted that Chen Rui sliding in a Z-shape had a high chance of being hit.
