Chaotic Sword God

On the other side, Jian Chen also entered the Divine Formation of the Heavens. The Divine Formation of the Heavens now possessed both offensive and defensive capabilities, with quite an extraordinary defence. Just the formation alone could block the attacks of mid Immortal Exalts.

At the very centre of the formation, Jian Chen directly took the main position. As soon as he entered the main position, it was as if he became the formation’s brain. He could clearly sense all the changes in the formation, easily controlling every bit of power available.

At that moment, the power from the fifty thousand Nine-heavenly Xuan Immortals, the several dozen Immortal Monarchs, the nine Immortal Emperors, and the Thousand Soul Demon Exalt and the Immortal Devouring Orchid had all been united by the formation, now within Jian Chen’s grasp.

Sensing the devastating power inside the formation, Jian Chen began to worry that the formation would end up damaging the Energy-gathering Divine Mountain somehow from being too powerful. As a result, he immediately called out, “Thousand Soul Demon Exalt, leave the formation!”

The Thousand Soul Demon Exalt understood his intentions and left his position in the formation without any hesitation.

Having lost the support of a Fourth Heavenly Layer Immortal Exalt, the Divine Formation of the Heavens’ power plummeted.

Despite that, it still maintained the great strength equivalent to a peak Sixth Heavenly Layer Immortal Exalt.

Jian Chen stopped hesitating and struck out decisively. A surging energy storm tore through the surroundings. The power of the Divine Formation of the Heavens turned into a colossal beacon of light that directly shot into space, colliding viciously against the location of the Energy-gathering Divine Mountain.

Boom!

Immediately, the world rumbled. Above the main peak of the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens, the space collapsed in chunks. A terrifying storm of energy pressed against the earth, causing the entire sect to sink downwards.

A strange crack rang out from the hiding spot of the Energy-gathering Divine Mountain as if the invisible power lurking there had been cut off. Having lost the disguise and restraint of this power, the colossal mountain hidden in the space there finally revealed itself.

The Energy-gathering Divine Mountain sealed there by the Star Clustered Ancestor had directly been freed by Jian Chen’s Divine Formation of the Heavens.

The strike also alarmed all of the Immortal Exalts on the Reverent Observance Heaven. Immediately, powerful senses of the soul gathered over from afar, arriving instantly.

“What a startling formation… It can’t be wrong, this is the formation from the rumours…”

“It’s Yang Yutian from the Skyscraping World. I never thought he would immediately appear as soon as the Soaring Immortal Heavenly Emperor left. He’s a mere Immortal Emperor, yet he’s so bold. Isn’t he afraid that the Soaring Immortal Heavenly Emperor would suddenly return…”

“Sure enough, Yang Yutian was hiding on the Reverent Observance Heaven. He’s actually going as far as to expose himself just to retrieve the Energy-gathering Divine Mountain. He sure is hung up over this sect…”

Many Immortal Exalts sighed throughout the Reverent Observance Heaven. There were also many Immortal Exalts whose eyes burned with fervour, striding through the air and hurrying towards the Sword Region of Violet Heavens as quickly as possible.

There were also a few figures in the Observance Heaven City who suddenly raised their heads before rushing towards the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens with lightning speed.

In the city lord’s estate, Jiang Pingtian stood on the highest level and gazed off in the direction of the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens. His eyebrows were firmly furrowed. There was a hint of worry.

Over the main peak of the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens, the huge Energy-gathering Divine Mountain fell with the pressure of a high quality god artifact. Down below, Jian Chen began forming seals with his hands sternly. He used a secret technique to control the Energy-gathering Divine Mountain.

The Thousand Soul Demon Exalt returned to his position in the formation. His return pushed the Divine Formation of the Heavens to its strongest form that it could currently reach.

“The Divine Formation of the Heavens has already run out of power. Yang Yutian, you deserve a thousand deaths for massacring a million disciples of my Immortal Sect of Colossal Elephants!” A chilling voice that seemed to originate from the depths of hell rang out, filled with frosty killing intent.

The Space-splitting Venerable of the Immortal Sect of Colossal Elephants appeared silently, radiating with great pressure.

However, his pressure seemed a little overextended. Although it was at the Seventh Heavenly Layer, it was only equivalent to the Sixth Heavenly Layer in strength.

The injuries he suffered from the elder princess of the Heavenly Palace of Great Radiance were far too heavy. Even after ingesting precious high grade God Tier pills for recovery, he had yet to return to his peak condition even now.

Under the blinding light from the Divine Formation of the Heavens, Jian Chen turned his head slightly as he controlled the Energy-gathering Divine Mountain. His gaze met the Space-splitting Venerable who had suddenly appeared. This was the first time he had met the Space-splitting Venerable, but he had already guessed his identity given his words.

After all, across the entire Immortal Sect of Colossal Elephants, there was only a single person whose cultivation had reached such a level.

“What exactly is your identity? Who are you working for? Why did you massacre a million disciples of my Immortal Sect of Colossal Elephants?” The Space-splitting Venerable ground his teeth with bone-deep hatred.

“Don’t you know my identity already? And with all these years of grievances between the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens and the Immortal Sect of Colossal Elephants, doesn’t it make perfect sense for me to massacre your Immortal Sect of Colossal Elephants?” Jian Chen said calmly, but his hands did not stop, collecting the Energy-gathering Divine Mountain as quickly as possible.

“Impossible. Don’t try to deceive me. You’re not a disciple of the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens at all. You’re just using the identity of a disciple to disguise yourself and hide your true identity.”

The Space-splitting Venerable roared angrily. He glanced past the Immortal Emperors and the Thousand Soul Demon Exalt in the Divine Formation of the Heavens. His anger became even more uncontrollably violent.

These people were all once prisoners of the Immortal Sect of Colossal Elephants, but they had all become Jian Chen’s greatest source of assistance, providing tremendous power to the Divine Formation of the Heavens. It triggered the Space-splitting Venerable very much.

“Once I imprison you, I’ll skin you alive and make you suffer the pain of having a demon insect gnawing away at your soul,” the Space-splitting Venerable roared furiously. He could clearly sense that many experts were gathering over already, so he stopped hesitating, directly reaching towards Jian Chen from afar.

Immediately, the powerful pressure of a late Immortal Exalt flooded the surroundings. A huge hand was conjured in the space there, sealing off the surroundings and enveloping Jian Chen along with the Divine Formation of the Heavens.

He had already confirmed who had destroyed the Immortal Sect of Colossal Elephants. Out of pure rage, the Space-splitting Venerable even forgot to inform Daowei Chengqing about Jian Chen’s appearance.

At the same time, the Energy-gathering Divine Mountain suddenly shrank, turning into a streak of light before ending up in Jian Chen’s hand. Afterwards, the Divine Formation of the Heavens erupted with blinding light again, radiating with a tremendous pressure that even made the Space-splitting Venerable’s expression change.

With the addition of the Thousand Soul Demon Exalt, the power of the Divine Formation of the Heavens was completely on show. It was entirely capable of threatening late Immortal Exalts.

However, the Space-splitting Venerable was unconcerned. Instead, he sneered. “Stop with the act. Your formation is only capable of a single strike. You’ve already used up that attack. You’re not capable of launching a second attack at all in a short period of time.”

However, as soon as the Space-splitting Venerable said that, his face immediately changed.

A resplendent beam of light shot out from the Divine Formation of the Heavens, shattering the space along the way and piercing the huge hand condensed from energy like it was unstoppable, surging towards the Space-splitting Venerable.

“Dammit, the rumours were wrong!” The Space-splitting Venerable’s eyes narrowed with surprise and shock. However, he was still a Seventh Heavenly Layer Immortal Exalt after all. His reaction speed could not be slow. He directly punched out with his fist.

When the Space-splitting Venerable punched out, the space produced a thunderous boom. The terrifying energy shattered the space. A colossal elephant hoof vaguely manifested as if it wanted to trample the entire world beneath its feet from above.

Boom!

With a great rumble, the Space-splitting Venerable was flung far away. He flew a hundred kilometres away before steadying himself with difficulty. His face was flushed red.

He stared at the Divine Formation of the Heavens a hundred kilometres away in shock. His eyes were filled with disbelief.

He was still injured right now, so he could only unleash the strength of a Sixth Heavenly Layer Immortal Exalt. However, he still had the foundations at the Seventh Heavenly Layer after all. With his cultivation still present, how could he have been blasted away so easily?

Suddenly, the Space-splitting Venerable opened his mouth and spurted with blood. His body was like a fragile piece of pottery, becoming covered in dense cracks.
