Chaotic Sword God

At the same time, all of the cultivators who emerged from the Skyscraping World, including the owners of the medicinal gardens, had been silenced. They were strictly forbidden from disclosing any details about the Skyscraping World.

Even the Illusion-condensing Swordmaster, Zuo Dao of the Divine Valley of the Nine Heavens, and the Courtyard of Ways had been asked to keep this a close secret.

The demand for secrecy obviously displeased many people present, but when they thought about who had asked for it, they all shut up.

The order came from the Chaotic Star Heavenly Emperor of the Heavenly Star Palace as well as the Soaring Immortal Heavenly Emperor of the Immortal Feather sect!

The two heavenly emperors had fought one another because of Jian Chen, but they reached a surprising agreement when it came to keeping this matter a secret.

The Chaotic Star Heavenly Emperor did so for the sake of Jian Chen’s safety. He obviously did not wish for him to attract too much attention. Even when Jian Chen’s hiding ability was exceptional, he had to prepare for the worst.

Meanwhile, the Soaring Immortal Heavenly Emperor did not wish for news about Jian Chen’s sovereign god artifact to be leaked. Otherwise, who would still be interested in the bounty that their Immortal Feather sect had set?

“A sovereign god artifact has appeared on an Immortal Emperor junior. This is a heaven-sent opportunity. Do the Chaotic Star Heavenly Emperor and the Soaring Immortal Heavenly Emperor really think they can keep this news contained?”

“Nothing can be kept a secret forever. It’s impossible for what happened here to be contained for all of eternity. It might be possible for a short period of time. After all, the influence of heavenly emperors cannot be underestimated. No one would want to be the first to incur the wrath of the heavenly emperors…”

“Originally, I came for the medicinal garden in the Skyscraping World, but I never expected to see a show like this. A healing sovereign god artifact is a tremendous opportunity enough to change any person’s fate…”

......

…

Some of the owners of the medicinal gardens sighed inside. Their eyes burned with fervour. Containing the news happened to be what they wanted as well.

Some of them also hoped that fewer people knew about this.

“We belong to the Courtyard of Ways. We stand equal to the Heavenly Star Palace and the Immortal Feather sect. What gives them the right to order us around…” an Immortal Monarch from the Courtyard of Ways said unhappily.

However, as soon as he said that, he was silenced by a member of the upper echelon of the Courtyard of Ways. The Courtyard of Ways had no reason to fear the Immortal Feather sect and the Heavenly Star Palace, but they were doing this out of respect for them. They would not spread the news to the outside world, but it did not prevent them from reporting this matter to the higher-ups.

“Since Yang Yutian has the elder princess’s tablet, why do you think he didn’t produce it? In the current Immortals’ World, the elder princess of the Heavenly Palace of Great Radiance has even more influence than the heavenly emperors.” On the other side, Zuo Dao of the Divine Valley of the Nine Heavens communicated to the Heavenloss Master. Due to Jian Chen, the two of them travelled together for a very long time. They advanced and retreated together like they had forged an alliance.

The Heavenloss Master shook his head and said, “I’m not certain why he refuses to show the elder princess’s tablet. He should know just how much influence the elder princess now has. As long as he has the elder princess supporting him, he can resolve a lot of problems.”

Reaching there, the Heavenloss Master paused. He could not help but recall what Jian Chen told him in the Skyscraping World, but now, he developed doubts about that. He said in thought, “Perhaps Yang Yutian and the elder princess aren’t as close as we imagined, which is why he doesn’t have the courage to use her reputation.”

Zuo Dao glanced at the Heavenloss Master deeply and said, “We’ve already confirmed that Yang Yutian, Chang Yang, and Jian Chen are all the same person now. Heavenloss Master, as long as you probe into exactly why that earth-shaking battle had erupted between the elder princess and the four ancestors of the Sacred Beast clan, I’m certain you won’t come to this conclusion.”

When he heard that, the Heavenloss Master furrowed his brows slightly. He discovered that Zuo Dao seemed to grasp even more complete information about Yang Yutian than him.

“I need to return to the Divine Valley of the Nine Heavens. I have to report what happened here as quickly as possible. Heavenloss Master, let me give you a reminder before I leave. Yang Yutian’s background might be even more complicated than you think. In short, it was a wise decision for you to not oppose him,” Zuo Dao communicated. He recalled the news he had learnt from Immortal Exalt Tan Yu in the Skyscraping World.

The Illusionary Ancestor of the Waymight clan seemed to treat Jian Chen very differently.

Elsewhere, the city lord of the Yi Immortal City of the Hall Brilliance Heaven, the Scarlet Fire Immortal Exalt, arrived before the city lord of the Immortal Rising City, Immortal Exalt Tan Yu. He was very humble, sincerely apologising for what he did in the past.

Everything that occurred outside the Skyscraping World had left him quite frightened. Who would have thought that a mere Immortal Emperor would actually draw over four heavenly emperors. Regardless of what Jian Chen’s relationship was with these heavenly emperors, whether they were friend or foe, the Scarlet Fire Immortal Exalt had already decided that he would not be getting involved in this matter. He hurriedly tried to mend his relationship with the Immortal Rising City.

His measly Yi Immortal City could not handle an upheaval like this.

Outside the Skyscraping World, as the people gathered here dispersed, the noisy surroundings finally recovered their usual tranquility.

Apart from the Scholar Capital Master who immediately returned to the Modest Silence Heaven in a hurry due to the war, the other owners of the medicinal gardens basically did not return to their respective territories. Instead, they followed the direction that Jian Chen had left in, searching along the way silently.

They did not care about the Immortal Feather sect’s bounty, nor did they care about the protection from the Heavenly Star Palace, as this had to do with a sovereign god artifact. Even if they had to risk opposing courts of heaven, they had to try their luck.

There were some opportunities that were completely worthwhile for them to risk their lives for. They could even abandon the sects, clans, and family behind them.

The sovereign god artifact on Jian Chen that could heal wounds endlessly was completely worth this price.

In a beautiful garden in the depths of the Heavenly Star Palace, the Chaotic Star Heavenly Emperor and the Heavenly Emperor of Sword Radiance walked along a small path leisurely. An invisible power enveloped the entire garden, completely isolating this area from the outside world.

The Chaotic Star Heavenly Emperor was here in person, while the Heavenly Emperor of Sword Radiance was still a clone.

“What did you say? He’s the successor of the Azulet swords?” Very soon, the Heavenly Emperor of Sword Radiance learnt about Jian Chen’s true identity from the Chaotic Star Heavenly Emperor. He immediately shuddered inside.

Despite being a heavenly emperor, he struggled to remain calm after learning this secret. His heart skipped a beat.

Looking at how surprised the Heavenly Emperor of Sword Radiance was, the Chaotic Star Heavenly Emperor laughed and said, “This had been personally confirmed by the artifact spirit of the Divine Sword of the Heavenly Star. If you don’t believe me, you can ask it yourself.” With a thought, the Divine Sword of the Heavenly Star appeared. All of its presence was contained. It seemed extremely dim.

The Heavenly Emperor of Sword Radiance clearly cared very much about the successor of the Azulet swords. He personally communicated with the artifact spirit of the Divine Sword of the Heavenly Star before finally confirming this matter.

“After over three million years, I never thought that the Azulet swords that went missing would finally appear again…” the Heavenly Emperor of Sword Radiance paused and let out an emotional sigh. He was filled with a multitude of emotions.

“Regardless of who he is, since he’s been chosen by the twin swords, he’s obviously the old senior’s successor. As a result, we need to give him the greatest assistance and protection we can give. Sword Radiance, what is your stance on this?” The Chaotic Star Heavenly Emperor looked at the Heavenly Emperor of Sword Radiance.

“The stance of our Immortal Sect of Myriad Swords has never changed. Even before the old senior’s successor appeared, our Immortal Sect of Myriad Swords had already gone to our greatest efforts to protect the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens. In particular, Sword Heart faced Nanming Yuyan of the Vermillion Bird clan in battle for the sake of the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens on the Reverent Observance Heaven. He even became heavily injured as a result. Now that the old senior’s successor has appeared, our Immortal Sect of Myriad Swords will do everything we can to protect him,” the Heavenly Emperor of Sword Radiance said sternly.

“With your Immortal Sect of Myriad Swords confirming your position, I feel much more confident. If you include the others, we’ll virtually be able to assemble at least half of the twelve courts of heaven to stand firmly by the successor of the twin swords’ side.” }The Chaotic Star Heavenly Emperor eased up.

“Half?” The Heavenly Emperor of Sword Radiance shook his head. “You may be thinking too optimistically. After all these years, it really is difficult to say exactly what their stance towards the successor of the twin swords is. The debt that the Immortals’ World owes to the old senior, as well as the influence he left behind, has been constantly fading away to some of these people.”

“As a matter of fact, there are quite a few of these people who don’t even take their debt to the old senior seriously. They might speak up or do something on the surface, but that’s only to shut up any rumours and gossip outside. If they really were to make a great sacrifice, all they’ll do is agree on the surface and do nothing in actuality.”

When he heard that, the Chaotic Star Heavenly Emperor’s face suddenly sank. His gaze immediately sharpened.

“And, the greatest source of trouble right now isn’t from the courts of heaven. Chaotic Star Heavenly Emperor, do you know who I encountered when I pursued the Universe Breaching Heavenly Emperor?”

“Who?” The Chaotic Star Heavenly Emperor was curious.

“The second ancestor of the Waymight clan, Daowei Huanru!”

When the Heavenly Emperor of Sword Radiance said that, the Chaotic Star Heavenly Emperor’s face immediately changed. He lost his composure and cried out, “What did you say? You encountered Daowei Huanru? Impossible. Why would the Waymight clan pay attention to what happens in the Skyscraping World?”

“How would I know? And from the looks of things, Daowei Huanru seems to have learnt of him even before us.” The Heavenly Emperor of Sword Radiance sighed gently.

“How did this happen? The Waymight clan… the Waymight clan… He’s in trouble now. Given Daowei Huanru’s identity, why would she pay attention to an Immortal Emperor junior for no reason, even going as far as to stop the Universe Breaching Heavenly Emperor? She definitely knows Yang Yutian’s identity.” The Chaotic Star Heavenly Emperor’s face changed. He subconsciously clenched his fists.

The Heavenly Emperor of Sword Radiance fell silent momentarily. He closely recalled everything that had occurred when he met Daowei Huanru and said, “Daowei Huanru’s attitude was rather strange. She… didn’t seem to bear any ill intentions.”
