Chaotic Sword God

“Anyone in the Immortal’s World is permitted to obtain the sovereign god artifact on that junior, anyone except you, the Soaring Immortal Heavenly Emperor…”

With that, the Dungeon Demon God and the Soaring Immortal Heavenly Emperor both disappeared from beyond the Reverent Observance Heaven. Only a huge spatial crack remained in the sky, releasing waves of terrifying presence.

They had already entered the spatial crack, engaging in a startling battle. Each strike would result in a turbulent storm, and each clash possessed devastating might.

After all, as supreme experts on the level of heavenly emperors, even if their current battle was not a matter of life or death, the energy they produced was extremely shocking. It gave chills to the Immortal Exalts on the Reverent Observance Heaven.

“Another battle on the level of heavenly emperors! It hasn’t even been that long since the elder princess of the Heavenly Palace of Great Radiance faced the four supreme ancestors of the Sacred Beast clan. I never thought these peerless battles that rarely occur even across the span of millions of years would actually occur twice in such a short amount of time…”

“When the elder princess of the Heavenly Palace of Great Radiance demonstrated her might on the Reverent Observance Heaven, the cause was that the Immortal Sect of Colossal Elephants had almost been completely annihilated. The person behind it all was the Thousand Immortal General of the Observance Heaven City, Chang Yang. This time, the Soaring Immortal Heavenly Emperor and the Dungeon Demon God are also fighting outside the Reverent Observance Heaven because of Chang Yang…”

“I never thought that despite only being a puny Immortal Emperor, Chang Yang would stir up such a storm on the Reverent Observance Heaven…”

On the Reverent Observance Heaven, many Immortal Exalts stared at the spatial crack that hung in outer space. They all let out sighs with mixed feelings.

Meanwhile, the Soaring Immortal Heavenly Emperor who was locked in battle against the Dungeon Demon God fumed inside. He knew that he would be caught up with the Dungeon Demon God. He could not break free, so he would not have any spare strength to contend for the sovereign god artifact.

At the same time, Jian Chen stood by the window of his room in the Observance Heaven City and stared up. His eyes were glued on the huge spatial crack. His lips gradually curled into a smile.

Previously, he was unable to approach the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens because the Soaring Immortal Heavenly Emperor was lurking in the Sword Region of Violet Heavens, but he knew his opportunity had come now.

Outside the Reverent Observance Heaven, the huge spatial crack gradually shrunk. The Soaring Immortal Heavenly Emperor and the Dungeon Demon God were rapidly moving away, travelling further and further away from the Reverent Observance Heaven.

In just a minute, the crack had closed up completely.

They had completely left the Reverent Observance Heaven. Even the earth-shaking battle that erupted between them could not affect the space near the heaven anymore.

Immortal Exalts emerged from the Reverent Observance Heaven one by one. They tore open the space with their hands before diving inside.

This was a battle on the level of heavenly emperors. It was extremely fascinating, which led to many Immortal Exalts following along. They watched on while maintaining a huge distance, anticipating any potential sources of inspiration.

The battle between heavenly emperors had drawn away almost half of the Immortal Exalts on the Reverent Observance Heaven. The Immortal Exalts remaining on the Reverent Observance Heaven had decreased significantly.

Even the vice city lord of the Observance Heaven City, the Master of Fire Virtue, had followed along to watch.

In the depths of the Immortal Sect of Colossal Elephants, the Space-splitting Venerable hovered mid-air with his legs crossed within a tower. He stared outside but did not budge.

The other ancestors of the Immortal Sect of Colossal Elephants stood outside the tower side by side. They were all tempted.

“You have me watching over this place. If you want to go, then go. A battle on the level of heavenly emperors is extremely rare. Hopefully, you can benefit through spectating,” the Space-splitting Venerable said indifferently.

When they heard that, the ancestors of the Immortal Sect of Colossal Elephants stopped hesitating. They left the Reverent Observance Heaven decisively, also entering a spatial crack.

After they left, the Space-splitting Venerable turned his gaze towards the direction of the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens. His eyes were extremely cold. He said to himself, “I never thought that the Soaring Immortal Heavenly Emperor had actually been hiding in the Sword Region of Violet Heavens the entire time. Hmph, Jian Chen is someone that the crown prince wants. He’s the crown prince’s prey. Even heavenly emperors will have to stand aside…”

Jian Chen stood in front of the window in his room. With the startling vision of a Ninth Heavenly Layer Immortal Emperor, he gazed through space effortlessly and saw the Immortal Exalts leave one by one.

“All of the experts on the Reverent Observance Heaven have their attention drawn away by the battle right now. This is a heaven-sent opportunity!” Jian Chen’s eyes glowed brightly. Without hesitation, he erased his presence. Under the concealment of the mask from the Illusionary Daemon race and the Divine Armour of Heavenflight, he left the Observance Heaven City elusively and directly appeared inside the Sword Region of Violet Heavens.

On the main peak of the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens that had already become overgrown with weeds, Jian Chen hovered in the air while invisible, gazing at the sky above him.

After breaking through with the Laws of the Sword, his Laws of Space had strengthened drastically as well. Now, he could already vaguely sense the Energy-gathering Divine Mountain that was hidden in the space there.

The Energy-gathering Divine Mountain had been sealed here by the Star Clustered Ancestor through his Laws of Space. It could not stop stronger Immortal Exalts, but it could prevent weaker folk from coming after it.

If it were not for the Divine Formation of the Heavens, Jian Chen would also be powerless over the Energy-gathering Divine Mountain with his current strength. He could not sever it from here.

Even if he had the help of the Thousand Soul Demon Exalt and the Immortal Devouring Orchid, it would not be enough.

He needed the strength of a Fifth Heavenly Layer Immortal Exalt at the very least to even shake the seal here.

But despite that, it would still take tremendous effort for a Fifth Heavenly Layer Immortal Exalt to remove the Energy-gathering Divine Mountain.

Above the main peak, Jian Chen gazed in the direction of the Energy-gathering Divine Mountain. His eyes shone with hesitancy.

He knew that once he took action, the disturbance he created would definitely alert all of the experts on the Reverent Observance Heaven. Even though many Immortal Exalts had already gone to watch the battle between heavenly emperors, a number of people still remained.

However, the hesitation in Jian Chen’s eyes only lasted for a short moment before being replaced by determination. In the next moment, the surrounding space twisted. Several tens of thousand disciples of the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens, along with a group of experts, had been forcefully transported out by the power of the Primeval Divine Hall.

As soon as they emerged, they had already assembled the Divine Formation of the Heavens. The blinding light illuminated the surroundings.

In a tower in the depths of the Immortal Sect of Colossal Elephants, the Space-splitting Venerable who levitated in the air suddenly opened his eyes. They shone with a shocking light as he stared in the direction of the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens.

Over the years, he had been constantly keeping an eye out on all of the disturbances that occurred in the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens. Earlier, Jian Chen had the disguise from the Divine Armour of Heavenflight and the mask from the Illusionary Daemon race, so the Space-splitting Venerable was unable to sense his existence. Now that the Divine Formation of the Heavens had appeared, he had obviously been exposed.

“Several tens of thousand Nine-heavenly Xuan Immortals, several dozen Immortal Monarchs, nine Immortal Emperors… Jian Chen, I’ve waited for you for all these years. You’ve finally appeared.” The Space-splitting Venerable’s eyes immediately turned vicious. His face twisted in hatred, radiating with killing intent.

He thought of the miserable state of the Immortal Sect of Colossal Elephants. A million of his clansmen across the entire sect had been annihilated. One of the seven ancestors, ancestor Ling, had perished. The Cloud-treading Ancestor had his body destroyed, and he had yet to recover even now.

Even he himself had been greatly humiliated at the hand of the elder princess. He would never be able to regain his sense of pride.

He did not have the courage to find the elder princess to vent, so he pushed all of this resentment and grievance onto Jian Chen.

“The master of the Immortal Sect of Alchemy Qi, Dan Chenzi, Thousand Soul Demon Exalt. Sure enough, the two of you are with him as well. The other Immortal Emperors seem to be prisoners of our Immortal Sect of Colossal Elephants as well. Good! Good! Very good! Originally, I only had suspicions, but now, I’ve finally confirmed who destroyed my Immortal Sect of Colossal Elephants. It really is you…” The Space-splitting Venerable ground his teeth. His eyes became bloodshot as if they were about to bleed. He was filled with bone-deep hatred.

At that moment, he had finally found irrefutable evidence!

The Space-splitting Venerable vanished silently. With a step, he crossed an extremely great distance, directly arriving in the Sword Region of Violet Heavens from the Immortal Sect of Colossal Elephants.

He disguised his presence and hid in a certain location inside the Sword Region of Violet Heavens. He stared through the space, fixed on the direction of the Sword Sect of Violet Heavens.

“It’s the Divine Formation of the Heavens from the Observance Heaven City. I never thought you’d actually obtain that. Though, the formation is not complete. You can only unleash its power once,” the Space-splitting Venerable sneered inside. The experts of the Immortals’ World had already become familiar with the fact that Jian Chen possessed the Divine Formation of the Heavens. He obviously possessed first-hand information on this as well.
