This time, in addition to the update announcement, there was also a video link.

After clicking on the video, exquisite game graphics appeared before the viewers’ eyes.

[Dark Journey]

After a few words formed from azure Firelight appeared, the view gradually came into focus.

This time, it was no longer a third-person free camera, but a clear, first-person perspective.

Furthermore, this time there was even the faint sound of an ethereal song, lending the entire video an Epic feel!

And from the sound of her voice, it seemed...

Within view, the Candle Guardian Witch, Noxia, gave a slight bow.

[Through our relentless exploration, this mysterious world has finally revealed the tip of the iceberg.]

[Lives burning with Warfire, monsters left with only instinct, corruption by an unknown Power...]

[Where should the light of the Spirit Candle guide us now? And where does the darkness end...?]

SPLASH! SPLASH! SPLASH!

The view shifted to the Dark Boundary across the sea, where one Gray Mist gate after another emerged.

The scene changed. In a canyon within the Battlefield Relics, the Golden Bull Guard panted heavily, its massive body like a small golden mountain, looking down on everything with contempt.

The figure of the Candlekeeper appeared, plunging the Candlefire Sword straight into the island. The flames spread, once again driving back the Dark Boundary.

But what followed was an even wider Dark Boundary.

[The brighter the Candlefire, the deeper the surrounding darkness grows...]

[Unknown Battlefield Relics, the heavily wounded Firewood Gatherers, the Eternal Holy Altar of Legend that enshrines the Primordial Fire...]

[This is an adventure fraught with peril, and even more, it is a... Dark Journey with no end in sight!]

As the protagonist from this perspective sailed a Spirit Fire Ship into the Gray Mist, everything faded to black, and the video concluded.

With the release of the official Spirit Candle announcement and video, the players naturally erupted into excited discussion.

”What’s the point of making such a good video? Give me access! I can’t even get in to play, and all you guys do all day is tempt me!”

”Awesome, we can level up again!”

”There’s a new building? Demon-Harboring Cottage. What’s that? For enchanting Weapons?”

”Probably not. Don’t the Weapons we use now already have Attributes and affixes?”

”Block? Is that like a parry?”

”Teleportation? I’m crying! There’s a teleport function now. Finally, I don’t have to spend all day sailing everywhere!”

”What are the contribution rewards? Are they souvenirs or weapons and gear? Can I get that Broken Sword the Candlekeeper uses? I think it looks so cool!”

”Holy shit, there’s an in-game recording function now?”

Aside from these general player discussions, comments from some of the veteran players were quickly upvoted to the top.

Brother Miao Won’t Fail the Exam: ”So generous! They even have contribution rewards. I wonder what they are. I hope they give me a Candle Guardian Witch.”

My Son Failed, But I’m On Shore: ”@Brother Miao Won’t Fail the Exam, a Candle Guardian Witch? In your dreams.”

Storyteller: ”I got a PM from the devs, so excited! Thanks for the recognition! (Image)”

I’m a Striver: ”Doesn’t this mean I don’t have to draw monster illustrations anymore... It’s over, I’m unemployed! My name isn’t even on the contribution list, waaaah...”

I do Bull’s Push-ups: ”Awesome! I even got a contribution reward for posting cheese strat guides. These devs are so generous. Love it!”

My hamster’s name is Guagua: ”Ah, why didn’t I get a contribution reward? If I’d known, I would’ve posted a guide too, waaah... (Crying)”

Never Air Force Fisherman: ”What technical issues?! Don’t tell me you lost my fish! (Horrified)”

”...”

As Spirit Candle’s popularity continued to soar, the number of posts on the official forums grew, and the discussions quickly became white-hot.

Some players focused on the contents of the update, while others were more excited about what the [Dark Journey] version would bring next.

...

As the players waited with immense excitement and eager anticipation, the game’s maintenance finally came to an end.

Not long after, as streams of Wax Oil flowed and coalesced one after another, the long-awaiting players logged on in droves.

Before long, the entire Candle Island was already abuzz with a cacophony of voices, livelier than ever...

”Wooooo~”

”New version, new version!”
