I just wanted you to make a movie: You made a Honkai Star Rail movie

Now, the worn-out hat had fallen into Mikhail’s hands. The meaning of this inheritance weighed heavily on the audience.

...

: This is what inheritance truly means...

: So actually, if he hadn’t stayed, Mikhail would most likely have become the next express navigator after Granholm.

: Amundsen—Granholm—Mikhail... It really does seem like that, and Mikhail is strong enough for it.

: But if the express had one more navigator, perhaps the universe would have one less Penacony...

: Sigh... fate...

--------------------------------

When Granholm handed the hat to Mikhail, the express completely left this place.

Amundsen’s journey had long since ended. From now on, it was Mikhail’s own path to walk.

And the story after that— everyone already knew it.

The same people walked toward different fates.

Granholm passed away, and the once-thriving Astral Express vanished into the vast cosmos. It wasn’t until the appearance of a new trailblazer that it returned to the galaxy.

Mikhail’s efforts were manipulated by the Harmony faction, and even the true historical events were distorted and rewritten, leaving behind only the name of a clockmaker.

As for Tiernan and Razalina, their fate remained unknown.

The audience, including the completely oblivious girls in the screening room, suddenly felt as if they were Elio.

They deeply understood what it was like to be a harbinger of misfortune.

”Ahhh, how could this happen? So many sacrifices were made to liberate Penacony...”

”If Mikhail and Hanunue knew the future outcome, would they still have done this?” March 7th murmured in a slightly dejected tone.

Beside her, Stelle also felt a bitter taste in her mouth, ”I think I understand what it feels like to be Elio now. I just want to tell them as soon as possible, to change history in my own way and lead the future to a better outcome.”

”In comparison, the audience might actually have it worse. They still hold onto hope, not even knowing that Mikhail has already...”

Thinking of this, March 7th couldn’t help but worry about the mental state of the viewers who had just experienced the beauty of Dream Memories only to be hit with another emotional blow in Episode 3.

Beyond these girls, Jade, Topaz, as well as Jing Yuan and Boothill, were particularly interested in how Mikhail and the others were overthrown.

On the screen, as the visitors from beyond the stars returned one by one to the sea of stars, Penacony, now fully stabilized, entered a period of development.

Hanunue took this opportunity to relinquish his power, establishing for the first time the familiar Household System.

This decision once again made everyone marvel at Hanunue’s greatness.

For the first time, through Hanunue’s hums and Mikhail’s translations, the names of the familiar families appeared one after another, along with their specific responsibilities.

”Oak Family” – Responsible for political governance, managing Penacony’s administration.”Alfalfa Family” – Responsible for economic management, overseeing Penacony’s wealth.”Bloodhound Family” – Responsible for security, maintaining order and internal affairs.”Iris Family” – Responsible for culture, shaping Penacony’s entertainment industry.”Nightingale Family” – Responsible for utilizing memory matter to construct the dreamscape of Penacony.”Sparrow Family” – Responsible for foreign trade and diplomatic affairs.”Moth Family” – Responsible for repairing Penacony and exploring external resources.

Compared to the main story, two additional household names had appeared.

The choices of the leaders of these households were even more astonishingly realistic.

The first head of House Oak, Magno, was nothing but a cunning political criminal—a true felon.

Asuna of House Iris was a cosmic singer wrongfully imprisoned, whose voice alone could shake the family hierarchy.

Lazaka of House Alfalfa was a corrupt official from the IPC’s traditional project department.

Tord of House Nightingale was a mad scholar who caused the IPC immense financial losses.

As these individuals stepped onto the stage one by one, their raw and vividly depicted identities contrasted sharply with the grandeur of the liberation war and the final formation of the Seven Households.

It lacked a certain epicness— yet it aligned with countless real historical narratives.

...

Who could have imagined that the first-generation leaders of the most powerful households in the universe, the ones who had been a thorn in the IPC’s side for years, were actually these people...?

And perhaps, because of this, it felt all the more real.

After all, history is woven together by countless small individuals.

...

: I feel like I see the shadows of many people...

: I suddenly understand—there were two battles that decided Penacony’s fate. One was against the IPC. The other... was internal.

: A modern version of the separation of seven families... incredible.

: According to the main storyline, the ones who ultimately survived were a politician, an artist, a businessman, a scholar, and a soldier... It became a five-power system later on.

: Chills... No wonder they went to such lengths to twist Hanunue and Mikhail’s story... To betray the revolution!

: Because the core of power actually rested in Hanunue alone! He was the true pinnacle of authority, and once he stepped down—

: Holy— Hanunue, please, please don’t let anything happen to you!!

: A hero must have a good ending, right?!

: MiHoYo, please don’t stab us here!! Damn it!!”

...

The audience is very perceptive.

The seven-power separation of Penacony.

Is its core about their rights?

No, it’s about Hanunue’s authority’s decentralization, even if Hanunue himself doesn’t care about governing power, even if he sincerely invites everyone to co-govern.

But not everyone is Hanunue.

While Hanunue was still alive, even after an entire Amber Age had passed, when the two were neither close nor distant.

His influence would always remain.

But what if a long time passes...

Hanunue’s spirit is difficult to inherit, but power can be.

Can those who hold these powers tolerate having a saint watching over them from above, tolerate the residents of Penacony comparing them to the origin of power when they exercise their authority?

And Mikhail, the head of the district authority and the minister of the medical artisans’ department.

So the two of them, in the future of Penacony, will inevitably be distorted!

But there will also inevitably be those who inherit their will, fighting with all their might to preserve the fire of truth.

The animations ”Hanunue Brothers” and ”Clockwork Kid” are products of such a struggle, where both sides attack and probe each other, finally compromising.

From the ending, it was the thieves of power who gained the upper hand.

Understanding the history embedded in these two animations, and after reflecting deeply on it—

The bullet screen exploded once again.

....

: This is exactly what Honkai: Star Rail is about, leaving foreshadowing in places like this, making people feel the depth of reality.”

: The atmosphere is spot on, the Penacony arc feels way too real!”

: Two seemingly simple animations, who would have thought they contain such profound historical metaphors and real-world parallels!”

: Damn, I have only one thing to say to miHoYo: big guts!”

....

As the audience was shaken, on the screen, Penacony, which had just established its order, had already begun its power struggle, right under the eyes of Hanunue and Mikhail...
