I just wanted you to make a movie: You made a Honkai Star Rail movie

”Finally! We can go eat now!”

”Let’s order first.”

”Yay!”

The girls cheered and excitedly discussed dinner plans, completely forgetting about their awards.

This drastic contrast, captured by the photographers, once again sent related topics trending across the internet.

Once again, it went viral.

After the awards ceremony ended, the internet across various regions was once again flooded with discussions about MiHoYo.

However, the people of MiHoYo didn’t really care.

The upcoming schedule was quite flexible. Although the expo was still ongoing, Xia Wen didn’t impose any restrictions. Those who wanted to go could go, and those who didn’t could skip it.

That being said, most people were reluctant to attend such an event a second time. With a mindset of experiencing it once, almost everyone who could go had already gone.

Except for one person.

That was Blade.

Late at night in the water city, while everyone else was out enjoying food, Blade was the only one wrapped up tightly, wearing a hat, strolling outside the venue.

He casually found a step and sat down.

Bored, Blade took out his phone and started scrolling through it.

Every piece of information he saw was related to the awards ceremony.

Seeing this, Blade felt happy in his heart. To him, the company was like a family, and everyone was like family members.

However, he soon came across some ridiculous online arguments.

Many people, after the awards ceremony ended, started deliberately imitating MiHoYo’s approach, desperately trying to present themselves as relaxed and indifferent to worldly desires.

They tried every possible way to associate themselves with Honkai: Star Rail.

Even though many people could immediately see through their intentions—just trying to glorify themselves—these individuals remained enthusiastic about it.

”Ever since seeing MiHoYo’s attitude at today’s awards ceremony, now others are starting to imitate them.”

”Trying to showcase their so-called ’relaxation’ and ’lack of desire’—it’s too forced.”

”No matter how they imitate, it just doesn’t feel the same.”

Reading these discussions and disputes, Blade found it laughable. He knew very well that MiHoYo’s behavior wasn’t an act—they genuinely didn’t care.

But these imitators—could they truly let go of such things?

”Boring.” Blade recalled the deafening cheers when walking the red carpet at noon, as well as the enthusiastic gazes of the crowd.

Thinking about it, the corner of his mouth twitched slightly.

He couldn’t understand why so many people chased after fame.

If it were him, he would have stayed far away from it.

After all, even before he became famous, he was already troubled by it. After gaining fame, it only became worse.

”So what’s the point of becoming a superstar?” Blade turned off his phone, pondering.

But he had already thought about this question countless times without ever finding an answer.

This time was no different.

Since he couldn’t figure it out, he might as well find something else to do.

Blade got up and started walking into the distance.

Before long, he arrived at the entrance of the venue.

During the day, this place had been bustling with activity, but now only a lonely red carpet remained.

In the darkness, a slightly chubby girl stood at the entrance, holding up a sign, peering inside.

Blade initially glanced at her and was about to leave, but then he noticed that the sign seemed to have his name on it.

For some reason, he stuck his hands in his pockets and walked over.

Hearing footsteps, the girl was startled and quickly turned her head.

The moment she saw Blade, she instantly froze.

Even though Blade was wearing a mask, his tall, muscular figure, along with the themed outfit designed by Chiori, made it clear—he was an incredibly handsome man.

In terms of looks, he was only second to Xia Wen, tied with Jing Yuan and Aventurine.

”What are you doing here?” Blade glanced at the sign with his name on it and asked in a cold tone.

His voice was always indifferent, and combined with his imposing presence, the pressure on the chubby girl was overwhelming.

”I... I came here to look at the scenery.”

”My bus leaves at three.”

”I came to see Brother Blade...”

The chubby girl stammered, struggling to speak under the pressure.

”Brother Blade?”

Blade sneered upon hearing this, sizing her up from head to toe.

”You’re still in school, right? If I remember correctly, it’s not vacation time yet.”

”Uh... no, it’s not.”

”I... I took a leave of absence...”

The chubby girl swallowed nervously and spoke in a low voice.

She was clearly terrified but didn’t dare to resist, as if she was used to being questioned like this.

Shivering, she continued speaking.

”I really don’t understand what people like you are thinking.”

”Wouldn’t it be better to focus on studying?”

Blade said coldly, snatching the sign with his name on it and was about to tear it in half.

”Go home. He’s not worth it, and he doesn’t need you to do this.”

The timid and chubby girl, who had always been submissive, suddenly found a surge of courage when she saw her beloved sign being torn in half by Blade.

She rushed forward and snatched it back with such strength that even Blade was momentarily stunned.

”You... You can’t do this! I... I...” The chubby girl looked at the sign in her hands, tears welling up in her eyes.

But as soon as Blade glared at her, she shuddered, and her newfound courage vanished without a trace.

Whimpering, she crouched down, clutching the sign to her chest, then wrapped her arms around her head, bracing herself for a beating.

Her strange reaction and words made Blade frown deeply.

She was willing to take a beating for a sign?

”You’re really crazy.”

Blade let out a long sigh. Since he had nothing better to do today, he sat down beside the chubby girl and casually said, ”Relax, I just want to ask you a few questions.”

”Y-You’re not going to hit me?”

The chubby girl looked up at him with tear-filled eyes, her expression a mix of fear and confusion.

”Why would I hit you??” Blade couldn’t understand her way of thinking at all.

”I... At school, if I dared to do something like this, I... I’d get beaten up.” She swallowed nervously.

After realizing that this tall man wasn’t as terrifying as she had imagined, she gathered a bit of courage.

”... School bullying?” Blade’s gaze softened slightly, though he still looked cold. ”Alright, I apologize.”

The chubby girl wiped away her tears, but she became even more flustered.

She had never encountered someone who would apologize after bullying her.

”Alright, don’t overthink it. I just want to ask you something.”

Blade looked at the chubby girl before him—she seemed only sixteen or seventeen, but she was unkempt and overweight.

He asked, ”Can you tell me why you like this person so much? You don’t even know him. You’ll probably never meet him in your life.”

A question he himself couldn’t understand—perhaps he could find an answer from this ’fan.’

”I know that, but I don’t care.”

The chubby girl’s eyes lit up as she talked about Blade. The timidity from earlier seemed to fade away.

Maybe it was the first time someone had asked her this question, so she hesitated before speaking slowly,

”The first time I watched Honkai: Star Rail, I was captivated.”

”Especially by the characters in it. They’re so cool, so beautiful, and they have strong personalities with their own beliefs.”

”And I like Blade because... because he’s so powerful, so... so amazing!”

”Blade has always held onto his hatred. To get his revenge, he gave up everything without any complaints.”

She took a deep breath and lowered her head, speaking with some self-doubt,

”Unlike me... I get dragged into the restroom and humiliated, left in a mess. I don’t even dare tell the teacher. I can’t even say that I want to live!”

”They humiliate me for fun, and I can’t fight back. My parents don’t care about me at all.”

”I thought my life would always be like this. Maybe one day, when I can’t take it anymore, I’d just... end it.”

”Until I discovered Blade. Watching his story, seeing how strong he is... Every time I was bullied, I would imagine Blade appearing beside me, comforting me, telling me to hold on because one day, I’d get my revenge!”

At this point, the chubby girl’s eyes were red, her whole body trembling as she poured out her emotions.

”I know it’s all just my imagination... but when I’m bullied, when I feel like I can’t hold on anymore, I imagine Blade standing by my side... I imagine having such a strong person to rely on.”

”I... I... I want to become as strong as him, even if it’s just a dream!”
