I just wanted you to make a movie: You made a Honkai Star Rail movie

”He is the most shameful stain in the history of the Penacony and The Family!”

”He is the true culprit behind all the dream distortions!”

”He is a traitor to The Family!”

....

The audience barely had time to recover from Aventurine’s revelations—

Before this sudden bombshell hit them like a tidal wave.

It seemed like the Penacony storyline was about to spiral completely out of control again!

---------------------------------------

In the bar, Gallagher looked at the members of the express crew and spoke astonishing words.

The audience had long since gone through ”Dream Past.”

With the various pieces of information from the series, they had already grasped some key details.

For example, the Watchmaker was a symbol of dreams in Penacony and was even known as the father of Penacony.

He was also likely connected to the Nameless.

But no one could have imagined that this Watchmaker would turn out to be the so-called ”traitor.”

Since when did the Nameless Guest become synonymous with betrayal?!

Moreover, the streets and alleys of Penacony were filled with films and games produced by the Clockie and Hanu.

The divide between the father of Penacony and the actual ruler of Penacony left the audience unsure of how to judge the situation.

They could only stare at the screen, afraid to miss any detail.

On the screen, Gallagher continued speaking.

”A long time ago, The Family already regarded the ’Watchmaker’ as an enemy. But since the latter was elusive, only living within the commercial empire he built, the hounds could never catch him.”

”So, let me ask you all—have you ever considered that The Family would tolerate the ’Watchmaker’ sending out such ridiculous messages to the outside world? Allowing you to come here as invited and turn this place into a mess?”

As soon as he finished speaking, Himeko immediately reacted, ”The Family wants to use us to force the Watchmaker to reveal himself?”

Gallagher smiled but said no more, simply pushing a drink across the bar.

”Try it—this is the true taste of Penacony.”

Only at this moment did the audience realize that Gallagher and the express crew were in a dreamlike bar.

On the screen, looking at the drink in front of them, only Himeko picked it up and took a sip.

Not just savoring the taste of the drink, but also the deeper meaning behind Gallagher’s gesture.

”The true taste—does it have something to do with that Mikhail?”

Himeko knew the name Mikhail.

When Stelle first encountered Misha, she expressed her feelings about it.

Including those eerie fonts in the dream.

After Himeko finished speaking, Gallagher revealed a knowing smile: ”You all know more than I expected, just as I said earlier.”

”Mikhail is none other than the renowned Watchmaker.”

At this moment, one of the biggest foreshadowed mysteries in the entire story was finally beginning to surface.

...

: So those strange names were actually the Watchmaker’s name!

: Damn, I just got chills. In the dream, all of Misha’s voices were actually speaking to the Watchmaker?!

: Those texts... hissing... What exactly did Mikhail go through? I feel like I finally get it now.

: Don’t forget, we just played ”Dream Past” last week. The Clockie in those stories was probably a metaphor for Mikhail’s story!

: So now it’s not the Clockie but the Clockwork Father.

: Feels like the plot is about to speed up. In Episode 2, a lot of mysteries might finally get answered!

: Damn, I’m so hyped!

: But honestly, Gallagher is really trustworthy. A true leader of the hounds!

...

The chat was going wild.

Meanwhile, on the screen, after Gallagher laid out all the information he knew, the express crew learned of the connection between Mikhail and the Watchmaker, but not much more.

They needed more information about the Watchmaker.

For this, Gallagher was well-prepared.

He let the express crew rest for a moment in the bar, introduced them briefly to the previous nameless, and then led them to the amusement park.

”Aren’t we supposed to be learning about the Watchmaker? I thought we’d go to an archive or something. Why an amusement park?” March 7th was puzzled.

”A city’s culture is the most authentic footnote to its history. In your eyes, this is a place for entertainment, but in my eyes, it’s a prison—one that locks away this planet’s past.” Gallagher explained.

Then, he gave the express crew a brief introduction to Penacony’s past.

This part of the story, the audience had already learned clearly from ”Dream Past.”

From a IPC border prison to what later became Penacony.

The general history was clear, but many details had been obscured by various distorted fairy tales, leaving the truth unknown.

So now, many fans were filled with anticipation.

”...And so, Watchmaker got his title.”

”He is the father of Penacony, the founder of peace, and the eternal companion of the weak.” After finishing his introduction, Gallagher crossed his arms and said indifferently:

”History is always written by the victors. But if we strip away the artistic embellishments, Clockie is an animation based on Penacony’s history—that is an undeniable fact.”

”These characters not only live in Dreamville but also in the distant past. This is history. Once you understand this, you will know why I brought you here.”

As the words fell, Gallagher led the group deeper into this paradise.

Following Gallagher’s reasoning, Himeko began to ponder the meaning behind it.

At the entrance of the paradise, in front of the giant Clockwork Boy relief, Himeko asked, ”The Watchmaker was a companion of the Brother Hanu and one of the earliest members of Dreamville. So, does that mean the Watchmaker personally participated in that war?”

”And stood on Asdena’s side?”

Hearing Himeko’s words, Gallagher stopped in his tracks and gently nodded.

”That was a grand-scale war for independence—The Masked Fools, The Nameless, The Fictional Historians, The Mournful Performers, The Omen Pioneers... Almost every named faction in the galaxy had someone involved.”

”With the help of his companions and extraterrestrial visitors, Hanu quelled the chaos.”

”And naturally, among them was the future ’Watchmaker.’”

Gallagher’s calm words unveiled just a glimpse of the grand and tragic history.

...

: So many factions? Damn, is this the original grimdark version of Dreamville?!

: Was the war at the Border Prison this intense?! When we played Dreamville Adventure, it just felt like a bunch of anthropomorphized characters playing house!

: Just how grand and shocking must this story be to contain so many Pathstriders?

: Damn, just imagining it is making me so excited.

: MiHoYo always does this—every time they reveal lore, they dig another pit! Ahhh! I need to see this!

: If they adapt this into a film, it would be on par with Shield of the Overlord and Battlefield of Sorrow!

: Maybe it’s just too hard to produce, so MiHoYo only mentioned it in passing. But it really feels like an epic tale.

: I just can’t connect the abstract stories in Dreamville Tales with this deep faction history.

: How would The Masked Fool even participate in a war? Wouldn’t they just turn it into a total mess? And what the hell is The Fictional Historians?

: I can’t wait to see how the Paths manifest! I’m losing my mind!

...

The barrage of comments went completely wild!

A chaotic clash of countless Paths.

A true war within the Honkai: Star Rail universe!

Every term sparked uncontrollable excitement in the audience’s imagination!

But the story was far from over.

After Gallagher finished speaking, March 7th raised a soul-piercing question: ”But if we do the math... doesn’t that mean the Watchmaker has lived for several hundred years?”

”I don’t know.” With his back to the group, Gallagher calmly replied, ”When I met Mikhail, he was already the Watchmaker. Maybe it’s just a title that gets passed down.”

”Huh?” March 7th was dumbfounded. ”...Wait, you—Officer of the Bloodhound—how old are you?”

Gallagher turned his head.

At this moment, the camera gave him a close-up.

Under his weathered gaze and stubbled face, Gallagher calmly replied, ”Thirteen.”

”...”

”...”

”...”

”There’s no way that’s possible!” March 7th shouted, nearly jumping over the railing.

...

: Never expected Gallagher to have a sense of humor. Even in a tense moment, he can crack a joke to lighten the mood.

: Not gonna lie, Gallagher really pulled it off—everyone’s dying laughing.

: LMAO thirteen?! If that’s thirteen, I’ll eat s**t standing on my head.

: The guy above, no scamming food this time, it’s obvious he’s just joking.

: Hahahaha, a bit of absurd humor in a tense storyline is actually a nice touch.

...

The audience couldn’t hold it in either.

With that face.

That voice.

How could he possibly be thirteen?!

In an instant, countless comments flooded the screen with memes and jokes.

No one took Gallagher’s words seriously.

Even in a dream, even in Honkai: Star Rail, there still had to be basic logic and historical consistency... right?
