I just wanted you to make a movie: You made a Honkai Star Rail movie

”Tsk tsk, a lifetime of regret, huh?”

The phantom’s words painted a picture of pure hell.

A scene that, if the audience even imagined for a moment, would make their hearts sink into an abyss.

They couldn’t even begin to picture— what exactly happened to Aventurine’s sister after he escaped...

----------------------------

The words of the phantom depicted a scene of hell.

It was an image that, if the audience fantasized about it even a little later, would feel like falling into an ice cave.

They couldn’t imagine what had happened to the elder sister when Aventurine escaped.

In the scene, the phantom’s question received no response.

Aventurine remained silent.

He continued walking forward.

Ever since he received the gift money bag, his plan had already reached its ”final stage.”

And his destination— was Clockie Film Amusement Park.

After shaking off the phantom, Aventurine arrived at a place covered in street graffiti, with a massive standing wall, where he saw Kakavasha playing.

”Ah, it really is you.” As if through some kind of telepathic connection, Kakavasha immediately noticed Aventurine and exclaimed in surprise.

The two met again.

Kakavasha ran up to Aventurine, curiously sizing him up. ”I don’t know why, sir, but you always give me a special feeling that makes me curious and eager to explore.”

”It’s a shame we couldn’t get to know each other better. It’s time to say goodbye. Did you have fun?” Kakavasha’s words carried deep reluctance.

”You’re... going back?” Aventurine did not treat all of this as his own illusion but rather took it as real.

”Mm, I should go home.” Kakavasha nodded firmly and explained, ”The sky is starting to darken, it’s going to rain, I can’t let everyone worry.”

”...Your home, where is it?” Aventurine asked in a low voice.

”What a strange question. Home is where my dad, my mom, and everyone else are.”

”It’s right here in this dream.”

Kakavasha tilted his head and answered innocently, not understanding why Aventurine was asking this.

Hearing these words, the Aventurine opposite him could no longer hold back. He turned his head away and let out a trembling sigh.

The sadness in his eyes was nearly overflowing from the screen.

...

: Ahhhhh, in other words, Aventurine no longer has a home.

: This is the first time I’ve seen Aventurine show such an expression... it really hurts my heart.

: A home is built by people, and Aventurine’s family is completely gone...

: That look in his eyes, that acting, I’m about to explode from emotions.

: Even though he’s already so sad, he’s still trying to keep himself steady, even if it’s just an illusion in front of him, he still can’t bear to let go...

: Wuuu, I’m completely broken now.

...

Kakavasha didn’t notice Aventurine’s change.

”This amusement park, this dreamland, is truly peaceful. Everyone loves it.” He took in everything around him with deep reluctance, then turned to ask Aventurine, ”But sir, you always seem very lonely.”

”...”

”Because they are not here.”

Aventurine closed his eyes and whispered sorrowfully.

”Then where are they?”

The phantom appeared behind Aventurine.

This time, his tone was not as sharp, but calm.

”I don’t know.” Aventurine’s voice trembled slightly.

Even at this point, he was still unwilling to face reality.

This completely broke the hearts of the audience.

He was already the last of the Avgins.

Yet Aventurine had never revealed the whereabouts of his family, only replacing the answer with ”I don’t know.”

”You clearly know, it’s just that the answer has no meaning.”

The phantom sighed and walked up to Aventurine. ”We are all tired, so we decided to stay here. Me... and him.”

As he spoke, he moved beside Kakavasha.

One tall, one short, the two stood together, mirroring each other.

”Your past... and your future.”

Aventurine looked at the two phantoms and softly asked, ”For how long?”

”Forever. We will stay with you forever, in this dream.”

”...This is the greatest respect we can offer to those who have resolved to die.”

The phantom placed a hand on his chest and spoke with sincerity.

Many audience members were already crying uncontrollably due to the sorrowful background music and Aventurine’s inner struggle.

Now, hearing the phantom’s implied meaning— they completely broke down.

”Taking the extreme path is an absurd choice, but for you, it’s not uncommon.”

”Because ’your own life’ has always been the first chip you throw away without hesitation.”

”You don’t care who the real culprit is, nor are you interested in the so-called inheritance. You just want to be a diligent IPC employee.”

”And then, under the oppression of The Family, you were forced onto center stage.”

The phantom and Kakavasha held hands, smiling as they continued,

”And then, you became the third sacrifice at this banquet.”

”This is what you are best at in life, and also the way you most desire—starting from death and ending in death.”

”This life of yours... has been exhausting, hasn’t it?”

The phantom’s words became particularly understanding.

”You’ve suddenly become very considerate... Did your conscience finally awaken?”

Aventurine chuckled lightly.

”In the end, I was born from your self; we cannot stop what you are destined to do.”

”You will keep winning, you have survived through so much...”

”But why you? Why... does it have to be you?”

”If a lucky one’s miracle is built entirely upon the misfortune of all those he loves, and even more people...”

”If every rain you bring is never a symbol of the Gaiathra Triclops’s forgiveness and grace, but instead, death again and again...”

”Then how many mistakes must we have made to be born into this world?”

The phantom’s words were the deepest doubts hidden within Aventurine’s heart.

For Aventurine, this might be the last time he pondered this question.

But he still had no answer.

And it didn’t matter.

Adjusting his attire slightly, Aventurine said flatly, ”Maybe I’ll understand once I reach the end.”

”Go on ahead, my friend. I’ll be waiting for you at the finish line.”

”In these final moments, say a proper goodbye to this child—your past self—and try to make it...”

”A death without regrets.”

The phantom dissipated.

Only Kakavasha remained.

”Now, it’s just the two of us.” Still as innocent as ever, he suggested, ”Can you take a picture of me? Just as a keepsake.”

”Alright, go ahead.” Aventurine nodded gently.

He watched as Kakavasha ran behind a standing wall, placing his head through a circular hole, his face blending in with the four-person mural painted on the wall.

Click.

Aventurine captured the moment on his phone.

”This is great! Now I can see what I look like.”

Kakavasha walked over to Aventurine, looking at the photo on the phone. The four empty holes were clearly vacant, yet he smiled with pure joy.

”Next time, try to make your expression more natural.” Aventurine also saw the empty image, but he didn’t say anything.

”Alright, sir. By the way, are you heading back now?” Kakavasha obediently nodded.

”No, I can’t leave yet. I still have one last performance.” Aventurine replied.

”I see. Then let’s go.” Kakavasha took Aventurine’s hand.

The two of them walked side by side into the distance.

”Sir, your clothes are really beautiful.”

”Mm... Actually, I’m not an actor. I’m a... businessman.”

”Like the men in black from the sky? But you’re not wearing black clothes.”

”Only regular employees wear those. My position... is much higher than theirs.”

”That’s amazing! I hope I can grow up to be as wonderful as you.”

”You will be better. Stronger.”

As past and present intertwined, and as they spoke to each other, the comments completely broke down.

...

: What kind of insane storytelling is this? I’m crying, I can’t take it.

: Kakavasha... Aventurine... He saved his gentlest tone for his past self.

: Because people always want to be kind to their past selves...

: He’s walking to his death, yet he still makes promises to his past self about the future...

: MiHoYo, I don’t want this cruel romance! Director Xia, I’m going to kill you!

: Why is the background music a trumpet? I’m crying.

: This feeling of going all in, moving forward no matter what—why does it have to be used in such a tragic moment?!

...

But the story was not over yet.

With Kakavasha by his side, the two finally arrived at the film amusement park.

By now, the place was completely deserted.

As if it had been specially prepared for this ”superstar”—Aventurine.

”You look nervous.” ,Kakavasha let go of his hand and met Aventurine’s gaze, then suggested, ”Let’s do a hand blessing. If the Gaiathra Triclops watches over you, you’ll feel more at ease.”

Aventurine’s eyelids lowered slightly, concealing the trembling in his pupils.

”A hand blessing is a small ritual. We press our palms together, recite a prayer to Gaiathra Triclops, and she will bless us.”

”If you don’t know how, I can teach you.” Kakavasha puffed up proudly, smiling so widely his eyes squinted.

”It’s okay. I know how.” Aventurine pressed his lips into a soft smile. ”Of course I do.”

The moment he crouched down, a torrential downpour and a sky-blackening darkness covered what was once a warm, sorrowful scene.

Once again, the audience was dragged back to that sorrowful planet—Sigonia.

”We have to part ways here, Kakavasha. The Katicans people are coming.”

The elder sister knelt on the ground, tightly embracing Aventurine, speaking gently.

”Why? The Katicans took all our money, our food, and even killed our parents. What more do they want?”

Aventurine asked, crying.

”The Katicans are bloodthirsty, cruel, and insatiable. They want everything, so in the end, they will get nothing.”

”This is a trick, an act of revenge.”

”Do you remember? Today is your birthday.”

The elder sister spoke as she loosened her embrace, cupping Aventurine’s tear-streaked face in her hands and forcing a gentle smile.

”They know we will hold a ceremony today, so they will come to take everything from us. But what the Katicans don’t know is that we will strike back.”

”The men in black from the sky stand with us. The Katicans have no chance against them.”

”If not for this rain, the Katicans would not have acted, and we would not have had a chance to maneuver. This is the blessing of the Gaiathra Triclops, and you are the...”

”Your luck will bless your sister’s success.”

After speaking, the elder sister clasped her hands together with Aventurine’s small hands.

”And we shall charge under the next aurora.”

On the screen, amidst a torrential downpour, Aventurine’s elder sister recited a prayer.

”May the goddess Gaiathra close HER eyes three times... ”

”Keep your blood eternally pulsing...”

”Let your journey be forever peaceful...”

”...and your schemes forever concealed.”

”Farewell... Kakavasha.”

A thunderclap tore through the sky.

The screen plunged into darkness, followed by the appearance of news reports from.

”According to breaking news for today, the spokesperson for the IPC’s market development department stated that a small-scale rebellion has broken out on a unclaimed wasteland planet named Sigonia. The situation is now under effective control.”

”The rebels are a local clan known as ’Katicans.’”

”This clan launched a large-scale attack on the Avgin people under the IPC’s protection, resulting in 6,728 deaths and 3,452 missing.”

”The wounded have been taken in by the medical rescue organization.”

”The spokesperson expressed deep condolences for this ’profound humanitarian’ disaster.”

”In his final statement, the market development department spokesperson made an important remark, saying: The Hammer of Preservation shall fall upon all life—regardless of life or death, race or thought—to defend our inherent fundamental rights.”

Whether it was the final revenge of the Avgin people, or the market development department spokesperson’s ominous and shocking message, the comments had all disappeared.

Under the audience’s gaze, that darkness representing sorrow and suffering gradually twisted and transformed into Aventurine’s face.

He opened his eyes from his memories, and before him, the child next to him had vanished without a trace.

Aventurine sighed and closed his eyes.

A few seconds later, the symbols of harmony that once surrounded him, those shimmering inscriptions, completely faded into oblivion.

Everything returned to normal.

And when Aventurine opened his eyes again, his confident, playful demeanor had returned to him once more.

”Alright, the actors are in place. This grand performance is about to begin.”

”And this is for you—I hope it will leave you with an unforgettable memory.”

”Kakavasha, let’s go once more.”
