But at that moment— The scene suddenly changed.

In a space filled with memory bubbles, SAM and Stelle appeared unexpectedly.

At that moment, many viewers were still immersed in the sadness of Kakavasha’s farewell.

Some even had tears still hanging in their eyes.

And then they saw this— Their mouths immediately dropped open.

The tears on their faces, combined with their shock creating a sight that was both tragic and comically absurd.

----------------------------------

How did Stelle get here?

Where are the other members of the Express crew?

It wasn’t just the audience who were confused.

On the screen, Stelle also looked completely bewildered. She held her head, trying to recall what had happened.

”A few minutes ago... what did I see?”

”Aventurine launched his final offensive, a dazzling rain of chips poured down, and then Acheron... Acheron drew her sword...”

Stelle muttered to herself in her mind.

But what happened after that was unclear.

She could only feel an indescribable force severing the Preservation, distorting space and time.

After that, all she could remember was falling into darkness.

”I think... I was stopped by a flash of fire?”

At the very end of her memory—

There was a warm flame.

That memory flashed for just a few seconds on the screen.

The scene flickered.

Now fully recalling what had happened before she lost consciousness, Stelle lifted her head and blankly looked at SAM, who was standing in front of her.

”You’re awake?”

”I’ve been waiting for you for a long time.”

SAM turned around and spoke in a cold mechanical voice.

The audience had no way of guessing SAM’s intentions.

”What... did you do?”

Stelle asked.

SAM turned his head and glanced at Stelle. ”I didn’t do anything. I was just waiting for you to wake up. You’ve already met me.”

Before Stelle could respond, SAM started explaining on his own.

”I wanted to appear before you earlier and tell you some truths.”

”But the resistance I faced was greater than I expected.”

”Eleven times. That’s how many times I tried.”

”As Elio said, I cannot break free from the constraints of the script.”

These completely personal words left the audience utterly confused.

...

: Wait, I haven’t even wiped my tears yet. Can someone explain what’s going on?

: Shouldn’t he at least explain his goal first?

: Yeah, he just took Stelle away so randomly. SAM, Kafka—it always feels like these Stellaron Hunters treat Stelle in a very ambiguous way.

: The second episode is about to end, and we’re getting riddles again?

...

Just as everyone was wondering what was happening, SAM turned around.

”I am not as good at reading people as Elio and Kafka.”

”I do not have the skills of Silver Wolf or Blade.”

”The things I excel at... are mostly only useful against villains who deserve no mercy.”

”So, I have only one way.”

”And that is to show you—”

As SAM spoke, flames suddenly erupted from his body. His mechanical voice overlapped with another, somewhat familiar, female voice.

Amidst the fire—

The armor peeled away.

The voice fully transformed into a cool and cute girl’s voice.

”My everything.”

Firefly held her transformation device, her eyes carrying a hint of worry as she looked at Stelle.

That delicate face was covered in strange blue and yellow cracks.

The audience’s eyes— At first filled with confusion— Gradually widened.

The moment Firefly appeared, tens of thousands audience simultaneously uttered different syllables but the same meaning—

”Ah?”

”Huh?”

”Ehhh?”

”Mm?”

Then— Countless viewers blinked.

For a moment, they couldn’t react at all.

The comment section froze for a few seconds.

And then— It exploded!

...

: What?! Holy sh*t! Firefly is SAM?!

: Damn, the fastest resurrection legend in Penacony!

: Damn! You were the one hiding the deepest?! Weren’t you the one who promised not to deceive us anymore?!

: No, wait, that’s not the point! SAM, the pilot of this ultimate war machine, is actually Firefly, a cute girl?!

: The same girl who nibbles on oak cakes, trembles when trapped by the Bloodhounds, and blushes in embarrassment?!

: The same one who took Stelle to the rooftop to watch the stars...

: Damn, MiHoYo, this... this... SAM fought Acheron, and that punch was strong enough to smash a hotel! And you’re telling me Firefly did that?!

: She stutters when she talks, but the moment she puts on the mech, she’s ready to set the sea on fire?! What the hell... 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ

...

The audience stared with wide eyes.

As expected of a finale— every time, it was explosive.

The fact that Firefly wasn’t dead was shocking—

But it didn’t compare to the revelation that SAM was Firefly.

Everyone’s minds raced to connect this delicate girl with the brutal Stellaron Hunter.

Yet, the more they thought, the more their brains refused to accept it.

But no matter what, the truth was right before them.

In an instant, countless clues and foreshadowed hints surged into the audience’s minds.

...

: I remember now! There were so many hints before!

: The Family mentioned that the stowaway was a tall figure in silver-white armor, which perfectly matches SAM!

: So, the Bloodhounds actually found the right person! It’s just that Stelle got in the way!

: Now I finally understand why Firefly thanked Stelle for giving her an ending...

: This is insane! If Stelle hadn’t come, this girl might have set Penacony on fire!

: And when they were rescuing Acheron, Firefly said the baseball bat was too inefficient! Now it makes sense—compared to scorched-earth warfare, of course, it’s inefficient...

: Also, when she was controlled by that monster, Firefly clenched her fist! She was probably about to transform, but she didn’t want to scare Stelle?!

: Damn! The plot completely fooled us! MiHoYo, you got us good!

: I cried when Firefly ’died’! But no matter what, as long as she’s alive, that’s all that matters.

...

The comment section exploded.

Whether it was the truth— Or Firefly’s return.

They were all utterly shocked.

More importantly, this time, there were no loose ends left behind.

For them, the purpose of Firefly was no longer important—just knowing that this young girl was still alive was enough.

And then— The screen suddenly faded to black.

The words ”To Be Continued” appeared in large characters.

At this moment, the audience finally breathed a sigh of relief, to the point where they could hardly believe it.

—

: Holy shit, it really ended? I was still on edge, afraid there’d be another twist.”

: Unbelievable. Is this really something miHoYo and Director Xia would do?”

: For real! The ’To Be Continued’ message actually showed up!”

: I can’t believe this is how the second episode ends—no heartbreak, no cliffhanger. Instead, Firefly is revived, and SAM’s true identity is revealed!”

: Only one thing to say—happiness! Gratitude!”

: Thank you, Director Xia! I need more of Stelle and Firefly’s ship!”

—

Just as the audience, traumatized by past plot twists, finally let their guard down and started casually discussing the details of the second episode in the comment barrage—

The completely darkened screen suddenly lit up again!

On-screen— A figure approached.

It was Gallagher.

He was walking towards the interior of the mansion, grumbling as he went.

”Corridors and halls like a labyrinth, traps and mechanisms everywhere... The owner of this mansion is seriously paranoid.”

Meanwhile, on the other side— Sunday was looking at a mural on the wall and said in a calm tone, ”You’re quite humorous, Sheriff. The chain of serial murder cases in Penacony has already led me to you.”

The audience’s alarm bells went off instantly!

Who could have expected the plot to pull a sudden reversal at this moment?

And judging by the tone, it seemed like something about the real culprit was about to be revealed.

The relaxed atmosphere was shattered in an instant.

Everyone stared nervously.

But in the scene— Gallagher and Sunday, supposedly on the same side, seemed to be confronting each other.

Hearing Sunday’s words, Gallagher didn’t show any deference to his superior. Instead, he said indifferently, ”Just expressing a personal opinion. What, did I hit a sore spot?”

Sunday’s smile faded. He turned around and said, ”Mr. Gallagher, my patience is running thin. The original product will only be more condensed with the connection to the military zone.”

”...”

”Scoundrel. Bastard. Drunkard. Thug. I’ve heard plenty of trash talk, but I never expected that one day I’d be accused of being an accomplice to a serial killer.”

As Gallagher spoke, his smile gradually disappeared. ”I take back what I said before. Your problem isn’t paranoia—you’re a lunatic. You hear me? A lunatic!”

”The Family broke this old dog’s spine, pulled out his fangs, and now you expect me to—”

”Bullshit! Only a drunken idiot drunk on SoulGlad would pick a fight with a stray dog on the street!”

At this point— The audience was completely dumbfounded.

Whether it was Sunday’s accusations or Gallagher’s unreserved response— Their relationship was nothing like what they had previously thought!

On the surface, Sunday should be the one in charge, ordering Gallagher around since he had taken him in.

But now it was completely reversed.

Gallagher was pointing at Sunday’s face and cursing!

He even called Sunday a bastard!

On the screen— After venting his anger, Gallagher quickly returned to his usual demeanor.

”Rather than me, you should be more concerned about the foreign guests outside making a massive scene.”

”Look at that—the sky over Penacony has been split apart!”

His words made perfect sense—after all, he was a sheriff.

But Sunday just laughed.

”No need for your reminder. The moment that executive stepped out of this mansion’s doors, I already knew what he was planning. All my servants are watching him.”

”His little magic trick did fool me at first, but it doesn’t matter. I’m more than happy to see this outcome.”

”Do you know why I let him go? And why I deliberately left that stage in the theme park empty?”

Sunday’s smile was especially gentle, but his words sent chills down everyone’s spine.

”Because my target, from beginning to end, has always been you, Gallagher.”

”The bigger the chaos he creates, the greater my chance to make you and your true master—the Watchmaker—pay for your blood debts!”

The moment these words fell— The entire comment section froze.

It was only after a brief pause that it started flooding again.

...

: My brain is about to explode. Let me sort this out—Aventurine fooled Sunday, but Sunday quickly figured it out. However, instead of stopping him again, he deliberately let Aventurine continue.

: And based on Aventurine’s conversation with Acheron in The Nihility’s domain, Aventurine also realized that Sunday knew about his plan... but he anticipated Sunday’s anticipation, so he went all in?

: Acheron also knew what Aventurine was planning— she might even know more.

: So, the current development in Penacony... looks like a group of people crossing against each other. But in reality, it’s a group of geniuses working together unspokenly to push the plot forward?

: Meaning... even now, we’re still trapped inside a well-crafted narrative?

: Wait—Aventurine’s reason for doing this is to uncover Penacony’s truth, while Sunday’s goal is to force the real culprit to reveal themselves. And the real culprit is... Gallagher???

: . . . . . .Huh??? Huh? Huh?????

...

”Saying my brain exploded” was no longer enough to describe how the hundreds of thousands of viewers on the platform felt at this moment.

This episode’s plot was already stunning enough.

But they never expected— There was still another twist.

This wasn’t just a simple game of Werewolf.

This was Spy vs. Spy vs. Spy at its finest.

No one was simple, everyone was a genius.

And the only fools left in the dark— were the audience themselves watching everything intently from the beginning.
