I just wanted you to make a movie: You made a Honkai Star Rail movie

All that could be said— MiHoYo was still the same MiHoYo.

The most explosive twists were always saved for the very end.

No matter how much the audience tried to prepare, it was useless.

In everyone’s mind— Flashed the images of last week, when they confidently discussed the plot in the forums.

Gallagher’s expression that once symbolized that he was the most harmless and truthful person in the entire Penacony, mow seemed to be mocking them instead...

----------------------------------

No one knows how many people sighed at this moment.

Not just because of Gallagher, but also the entire second episode’s exciting plot, the constant twists and turns.

And those characters who took the stage, all of them supporting and pushing the plot together..

The shock during this time, they couldn’t even express it through the barrage of comments.

There were also many ordinary viewers who still had many doubts in their hearts.

These were about deeper hints in the series.

Hints about the characters, philosophy, and fate.

As soon as the episode ended, like a tidal wave, the audience surged onto social media.

Whether it was Y or Witter, almost instantly, they were taken over by Honkai: Star Rail fans.

”Shit! I got completely fooled by Gallagher! Damn it!” Former detective novelist, now a professional Honkai: Star Rail plot commentator, Conan, after watching the episode, slammed the table in anger during his livestream.

”Thirteen years old, thirteen years old!”

”I recorded so many clues, but I never expected that I would be crushed like this by Gallagher’s setup!”

”Damn it, it was so obvious, I should have noticed it earlier, how could this happen!”

...

: Hahahaha, who wasn’t fooled?

: This was hidden way too well.

: Seeing even a ’detective novel’ writer like Conan fail to see through it, I feel relieved.

: Conan even has a Gallagher poster hanging in his room, this is hilarious....

The livestream viewers were also laughing out loud.

Seeing someone more skilled than them get tricked, they naturally enjoyed it.

Conan, devastated, took down the Gallagher poster and crumpled it into a ball.

As someone who analyzes stories with professional expertise for the audience, this was an absolute humiliation.

But after a moment, he suddenly laughed.

”But isn’t this kind of brilliant plot and twists exactly why we love Honkai: Star Rail?”

”Tsk tsk, a character pieced together from fifty-two people, yet it all makes sense. This is truly insane.”

Conan sighed.

As a detective novelist, he understood better than anyone how difficult this was.

Honkai: Star Rail is still a sci-fi fantasy series.

But within such a grand world, every setting fits together seamlessly,

And the methods it employs to unfold its story far exceed his imagination.

...

: Enough with the sighing, Conan, hurry up and explain it to us!

: Yeah, we want to hear your fancy praises!

: Hurry up, hurry up!

: I want to hear your thoughts on Aventurine!

: Teacher, teacher, we finished watching, but we still don’t understand a lot. For example, why is Aventurine a Preservation Path character, but his abilities seem to be elation?

: And the battles among the masters of Penacony, we’re totally confused by them.

...

The livestream viewers were also filled with excitement.

Conan glanced at the Gallagher poster, feeling a bit uneasy. Who knew if Honkai: Star Rail had hidden even more secrets?

But after a moment, he steeled himself and picked up the blackboard he had prepared.

While watching the episode live with his audience, he had been jotting down clues on the board.

At the same time, he noted his thoughts.

So compared to ordinary viewers, he had a much deeper perspective.

This was why domestic audiences preferred listening to his analyses.

”Normally, analyzing a series should start from a cinematic perspective, but today, we’re skipping that.”

”I will only use the characters to explain the brilliance of this second episode.”

”And when it comes to characters, we can’t ignore the standout of this episode—Aventurine.”

Conan pointed at the large image of Aventurine on the blackboard,

Sighed, and then asked the audience, ”What kind of person do you think Aventurine is now?”

The chat quickly responded.

Most said ”a gambler,” ”a good person,” or similar answers.

Conan smiled and shook his head, ”Wrong. If you think Aventurine is just a gambler, then you won’t be able to understand why he is on the Path of Preservation.”

”He is not a gambler in the traditional sense.”

”His fate was never fair. As a IPC executive, he could have used other methods to achieve his goals.”

”But every time, Aventurine chose to use his own life as a bet.”

”There are two key details in the show.”

As he spoke, he played back the relevant scenes for the viewers.

The first was his plan to overthrow Penacony.

Originally, his plan was to use the death of Robin to overturn Penacony.

But The Family had a backup plan, so instead, Aventurine used his own death to shatter the dream.

If he died, the IPC would have legitimate reasons to take control.

From the moment Aventurine entered the game with his life, IPC had already won.

The second detail was his past.

Whether it was retrieving the necklace, or gambling his life with his owner when he was a slave, Aventurine always used his own life as the wager.

”So, ’live by the sword, die by the sword.’”

”This phrase fits Firefly, or rather, it fits the Path of Elation.”

”But Aventurine rejected Elation. He always wagered his life, yet never sought self-destruction like Nihility.”

”The most ironic thing is that Aventurine ultimately followed the Path of Preservation.”

In past instances of the Path of Preservation, such as Belobog, people kept each other warm in the extreme cold, preserving one another.

But Aventurine couldn’t protect anyone.

His mother, his sister, and the Avgin clan all left him.

As Conan spoke, he replayed various scenes for the audience.

Before heading to the Theme Park, on the red carpet in the corridor, when Aventurine turned back, there was no one there.

The long red carpet was just like his life— gorgeous, yet always solitary.

And in the nihility’s domain, the only one to bid him farewell was his past self.

’His actions preserved the bloodline of his race and upheld his vow to his family.’

’There is no character better suited to embody the complexities of the Path of Preservation than Aventurine.’

’It was precisely because of this conviction that he did not walk the Path of Nihility, the Hunt, or Erudition.’

After Conan finished speaking, he and the audience quietly reminisced about the dialogue between Acheron and Aventurine in the black hole.

Aventurine asked why one would be born into this world just to die.

From the perspective of the Path of Nihility, Acheron provided an answer.

In the end, Aventurine arrived at his own conclusion.

’Because we are not yet ready to face death.’

Conan and the on-screen Aventurine spoke this line together, then sighed, ’This is such a deeply philosophical moment, and here, Aventurine completes his own redemption and reconciliation.’

’The greatest strength of Honkai: Star Rail is its ability to convey profound truths through simple stories and characters.’

’Aventurine is one of them.’

’His actions and his Path are full of contradictions, yet they conceal a rational explanation.’

’How could a character crafted like this not be brilliant and compelling?’

After hearing Conan’s analysis of Aventurine, the audience had a moment of realization.

Indeed, no matter how contradictory Aventurine seemed, his actions and path ultimately followed a certain logic.

’Besides Aventurine, Acheron and Sunday also had outstanding performances.’

’Especially Acheron— her presence is bound to overturn the current understanding of Paths in Honkai: Star Rail.’

’Nihility is just too different.’

Conan’s eyes were filled with intense curiosity.

’The only problem is that there’s not enough information yet, so I don’t dare to make wild guesses.’

’If I get proven wrong later, that’d be embarrassing. But one thing is certain—Nihility is unlike any other Path, and the relationship between Aeons and Path striders is somewhat akin to Lovecraftian themes.’

’Not in a horror sense, but in that these Path striders of Nihility—perhaps their greatest enemies are their own fundamental nature.’

’Acheron, who was able to free Aventurine from self-destruction, walks the Path of Nihility deeper than anyone else. That’s truly ironic.’

’I really want to know Acheron’s past now.’

As his words fell, the live stream audience was equally intrigued.

Moving on, Conan then began analyzing other characters and hidden storylines from the second episode.

For example, the choices of Sparkle and Ratio.

Sparkle and Sampo are different.

Belobog’s joy was mended through Sampo’s own means, bridging the gap between the overworld and underworld while he remained in the shadows.

But Sparkle, compared to Sampo, had an even more profound understanding of the underlying structure.

This masked trickster had connections with nearly every faction and provided crucial hints.

In Penacony, Sparkle played an essential role.

Meanwhile, Ratio demonstrated an incredible synergy with Aventurine.

Under The Family’s surveillance, through various hints, he orchestrated a flawless deception.

At this point, Conan couldn’t help but comment, ’The best part of Penacony is that it’s full of spy games within spy games.’

’In an ordinary show, simply uncovering the truth would be enough.’

’But in Honkai: Star Rail, even after Aventurine and the others execute their plan, Sunday continues to push forward his own strategy. Even though he were eventually taken away by Gallagher, it was still brilliant.’

’Every plot so far has been propelled step by step by these fascinating characters.’

’Their actions and objectives are so intertwined that they create the story itself.’

’Rather than the story existing first, and the characters merely serving as pieces within it.’

...

: Wow, listening to this analysis makes Honkai: Star Rail sound even more amazing.

: The second episode might reach an even higher peak—I want to see the global rankings today!

: No need to guess, it’s definitely going to be impressive. Right now, I just want to know how Acheron will act next.

: Watching the show, then listening to Conan’s analysis—it’s so satisfying.

: Any one of these characters could be a main protagonist in another series, but in Honkai: Star Rail, they’re everywhere. MiHoYo is incredible!

: With so many outstanding characters in episode two, Penacony is running out of hidden cards. I wonder how episode three will wrap things up.

...

Seeing the chat messages, Conan chuckled in surprise.

’What are you guys worried about?’

’Sparkle’ motives, Sunday’s motives.’

’Penacony is full of experts—there’s not a single simple character here. Sunday, Sparkle, Black Swan... not to mention the three Nameless.’”

Speaking of this, Conan also frowned and began to ponder.

”The second episode has a lot of twists and is quite shocking, but in the end, the mastermind, Gallagher, makes an appearance.”

”Right now, all the potential villains have been sent in by Gallagher.”

”It can’t really be related to the difference in paths, right?”

”Moreover, looking at other Chapters of Honkai: Star Rail, the final battle must involve a struggle between Paths.”

”As for Penacony, at present, there are almost no Paths that could engage in such a struggle. Whether it’s Harmony, Pathstriding, Remembrance, or Elation, none of them have the motivation.”

”The Duke of Destruction, who did have the motive, was instantly cut down by Acheron.”

”Still can’t see through it.”

Thinking of this, Conan shook his head.

”Can’t see through it. The return to the group is the real history of the Penacony clan.”

”Anyway, there’s a lot to look forward to next.”

”After all, we have a whole cast of powerful characters here. Let’s see if MiHoYo will release more material next week!”

As Conan and many viewers discussed the plot, similar scenes were happening all over the world.

For example, in terms of characters, viewers from a few places were able to dig up a lot of details.

Meanwhile, the deeper, slightly religious metaphors hidden in Penacony’s story were instead uncovered by somewhere else.

Especially regarding Penacony’s architectural style.

Some experts pointed out that certain details of the main buildings in the show didn’t quite align with Harmony.

Those sharp lines, instead, seemed to carry the implication of Domination.

Various discussion topics filled the global internet.

Throughout Saturday, MiHoYo-related topics dominated everywhere.

With the current traffic of Honkai: Star Rail, the data flow pressure on major online platforms was immense.

Every Saturday, whether someone followed Honkai: Star Rail or not, as long as they were online, they would inevitably see overwhelming discussions about it.

Its popularity left countless experts and companies dumbfounded.

Gradually, they came up with a name for this recurring phenomenon on this particular day—”Honkai Saturday.”

It signified that once Saturday arrived, the usual internet would collapse completely, flooded with discussions about Honkai: Star Rail’s plot.

Coincidentally, this also served as a clever play on the title of the show itself.

...

Inside MiHoYo’s offices, a grand celebration was being held.

Amidst the excited anticipation of the everyone, Xia Wen announced a piece of news that made everyone both nervous and eager—

That is, upcoming real-world events...
