Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1674: Chapter 822: Another Year

Zhou Yun nodded a bit unexpectedly, saying, ”Yeah, she performed really well this afternoon, Tim praised her too.”

Lew Xi made a sound of acknowledgment and after two seconds, said, ”I thought you didn’t get along well with her; you were so angry with her before.”

”Not good, indeed; I’ve never had much interaction with her.” Zhou Yun said.

Lew Xi: ”Then why did you praise her?”

”These are two different things, I may not like her as a person, but she did perform well this afternoon, so I praised her.”

”You’re so magnanimous. If it were someone I didn’t get along with, no matter how well they performed, I’d still dislike them, wouldn’t be able to praise them at all.” Lew Xi said.

Zhou Yun was dumbfounded.

”Everyone is different.”

”Yeah, I admit I’m a bit petty.”

”Don’t say that; I just feel like, although I dislike her, she hasn’t hit my red line, I just don’t like her attitude, it doesn’t affect my judgment on other aspects of her. Like you said, there are people I couldn’t praise no matter how good they are; such people are certain to exist in one’s life, it’s just not her.” Zhou Yun thought for a moment, then added, ”At least not yet.”

...

In one’s lifetime, how many people will you meet? How many will intersect with you?

Zhou Yun didn’t know if anyone calculated this data, but she knew very well, such people definitely wouldn’t be many.

In a theater group, everyone comes from far and near, how many people really touch your red line?

Zhou Yun had only disgust for Lily Cruise, but no hatred.

But it seems Lew Xi is different.

She really minded the presence of Lily Cruise.

Especially when the two were shooting scenes together, it was a disaster. Lily Cruise basically had no negative attitude toward her, merely treating her as a stranger actor, but Lew Xi saw Lily Cruise as a thorn in her eye, always taking every opportunity to oppose and humiliate her.

Tim Lang got angry because Lew Xi deliberately messed up her performance just to ruin the well-shot scenes of Lily Cruise and give herself more opportunities.

It seemed as long as she tormented Lily Cruise, Lew Xi didn’t mind acting a few more times herself.

After Tim Lang noticed Lew Xi’s motive, he angrily scolded Lew Xi for being unprofessional and selfish, making her cry directly.

Zhou Yun wasn’t present, and felt a sigh when she heard the news.

Song Chi listened to her recount the story from the group, laughed and said, ”Isn’t this just the way theater groups are? There are always things and troubles, trivial things.”

Zhou Yun: ”We used to be quite fine, the atmosphere was good, everyone’s relationship was okay, but now things are getting more chaotic, and we still have to shoot a sequel, with such an atmosphere, how to shoot a sequel.”

”That depends on Mélando’s ability, but as long as the first part does well, for their own interests, everyone will still act in the sequel.” Song Chi always had a clear view on these aspects, ”No one would give up a globally popular movie series.”

That’s true.

Currently, the filming of ”Killing Song” is only one-third completed.

There are many scenes to shoot afterward, Zhou Yun only hopes that everyone can restrain themselves a bit and not end up in chaos.

To Zhou Yun’s surprise, on New Year’s Eve, the group actually had a break, letting everyone fly back to spend New Year’s with family.

Zhou Yun suddenly got a two-day holiday, delightfully returning to the country.

”Mélando does have money, very wealthy, said vacation and there it is.” Zhou Yun ran straight to Song Chi’s group, to reunite with him.

Song Chi said: ”That’s what we need to learn, their group shoots like a regular job, unlike us, shooting from dawn till dusk. Mainly, the whole production process hasn’t matched up, requiring this method to save on filming costs.”

During New Year’s, Song Chi’s group was still shooting normally.

Zhou Yun stayed in Song Chi’s group, watching him act.

The two were quite familiar with each other, but Zhou Yun was still moved by Song Chi’s acting.

Especially when Song Chi had a crying scene, where he needed to face the camera (in the scene, facing the person he loves deeply) and shed tears, speaking some heart-wrenching words.

Such a solo performance, he acted such that the whole set went silent, moving many to tears along with him.
