Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1660: Chapter 819: Director Yu Zhihe_2

”Alright, then I’ll get ready.” After hanging up the phone, Zhou Yun immediately contacted Liu Yun, asking her to quickly buy some snacks.

As for the drinks, the hotel could arrange the alcohol.

Zhou Yun quickly dried her hair, then changed into a dress, waiting for Director Yu Zhihe.

Every actor has their own favorite directors in their heart, and Director Yu Zhihe definitely ranks in the Top 3 for Zhou Yun.

Originally, it was agreed that there would be a film collaboration, but in the end, due to opinions from the Japanese investors, the role of the Chinese woman was changed to a Japanese woman.

That cooperation fell through.

Ten minutes later, Liu Yun returned with the items.

Plums, dried fruits, and fresh fruits, and she even managed to buy some sake, which the Japanese like to drink, from somewhere.

”Fantastic.”

Liu Yun has never failed to be reliable when it comes to such tasks, never a cause for concern.

Zhou Yun never told Liu Yun what to buy; she just selected the items based on the background of the guests they were about to meet.

”I don’t know if this sake is authentic, it’s probably just a mass-produced product.” Liu Yun said.

”It doesn’t matter, preparing it mainly shows my respect for them.”

The quality is secondary; what matters is the sentiment.

Thirty minutes later, Zhou Lan came in with Konosuke Harada and Director Yu Zhihe.

Director Yu Zhihe wasn’t tall, rather slim, wearing a suit, with delicate features and a youthful aura, even though he was already over fifty.

He had a slightly shy smile on his face.

”Director, Mr. Harada.” Zhou Yun greeted them.

She was a bit nervous too, clasping her hands together, unsure of where to put them.

Konosuke Harada still used his fluent Chinese to say, ”Miss Zhou, we meet again, sorry to disturb you so late.”

Zhou Yun politely welcomed them inside.

For a moment, Zhou Yun didn’t know what to say.

This situation was rare for Zhou Yun.

She was usually very good at speaking and communicating with people.

But because this time she was meeting Director Yu Zhihe, she suddenly didn’t know what to say.

Zhou Yun felt a bit nervous—in front of someone she admired and respected so much, especially after liking him for so long, Zhou Yun found it hard to control her emotions.

Yu Zhihe himself seemed to be a person who easily gets shy.

When their eyes met, he would also smile a bit shyly and bashfully.

Such shyness appearing on an internationally renowned director was not surprising.

Zhou Yun realized that many famous directors in their daily lives aren’t as authoritative or domineering as people might imagine.

Konosuke Harada laughed and said, ”Director and Xiao Yun are both quite shy people.”

Zhou Lan said, ”Actually, Xiao Yun is not usually this shy. Meeting Director Yu Zhihe might have made her a bit nervous, as she’s always really liked Director Yu Zhihe and has always wanted to collaborate with him.”

Yu Zhihe couldn’t speak Chinese, and his English wasn’t very good either, so Konosuke Harada had to serve as the translator.

At this moment, Yu Zhihe said something.

Konosuke Harada immediately translated, ”Director Yu Zhihe said he has also watched Miss Zhou Yun’s movies, really likes them, and has always wanted to find a suitable opportunity to collaborate.”

Zhou Yun, suddenly meeting Yu Zhihe, didn’t know what to say; continuously expressing how much she liked Yu Zhihe didn’t seem appropriate.

Yu Zhihe spoke again.

Konosuke Harada translated, ”Director Yu Zhihe said if you have a chance to come to Japan in the future, you’re welcome to visit his studio.”

Zhou Yun smiled and nodded, saying okay, expressing her eagerness to visit.

”What is the director doing this time?” Zhou Yun asked curiously.

Konosuke Harada translated it for Yu Zhihe and then replied, ”There’s a showcase of the director’s works organized here by the distributor.”

Upon hearing this, Zhou Yun excitedly asked, ”When is it happening?”

”The Day After Tomorrow,” Konosuke Harada said, ”I heard Miss Zhou Yun is filming, otherwise, you are very welcome to attend.”

Zhou Yun noted the timing and said, ”If I have time, I’ll definitely go. Oh, right, is Nakajima Hoto here too? She’s filming this with me, do you know her?”

Konosuke Harada’s eyes suddenly lit up.

”Oh, Xiao Sui?” Konosuke Harada nodded, ”Of course we know her, is Xiao Sui here too?”
