Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1664: Chapter 821: Black Forest Premieres (7,000 Words)

Zhou Yun discovered a phenomenon: In the hearts of many ordinary people, those who pursue a career as actors seem to be more worldly and experienced. Whether it’s friendship or love, they appear harder to attain compared to regular folks—the idea being that if someone tells you a celebrity suddenly fell in love with someone, it would seem odd. And if someone tells you a celebrity feels shy or embarrassed to confess their love, you’d find it even more unbelievable—come on, they’re celebrities! Do they even need to feel shy or embarrassed?

In reality, celebrities are nothing more than commercial glows packaged up—truly relying on the halo of personal charm is rare. A good appearance is always appealing, there’s nothing wrong with that, but don’t judge a book by its cover, or else when the facade crumbles, your world might collapse along with it.

The more Zhou Yun interacted with Nakajima Hoto, the more he felt she was a very cute girl, and that she was genuine, had a good personality, and was easy to get along with.

Zhou Yun didn’t intend to judge everyone’s personalities, but among the actresses in the crew, Nakajima Hoto was his favorite.

Let’s just say, there’s some fate between people, some just have a better first impression.

Nakajima Hoto didn’t want Chris Pine to find Lily Cruise alone because she was worried that a chat between a man and a woman might bring them closer.

Although she denied liking Chris Pine, Zhou Yun no longer believed this little cover-up of hers.

She’s an actress, no doubt, but her acting in this matter is quite poor.

”If you like Chris, then spend more time with him. Don’t just secretly like him on your own, or he might not know what you’re thinking,” Zhou Yun said.

Nakajima Hoto blushed and said, ”Xiao Yun, I told you, I don’t like him.”

”If you don’t like him, then why worry if he goes to find Lily Cruise alone?” Zhou Yun teased her.

Nakajima Hoto, as expected, said nothing.

Zhou Yun: ”Don’t hide it, don’t pretend. Xiao Sui, don’t worry. Before you decide to make it public, I won’t spill a word.”

Nakajima Hoto hesitated and said, ”Then you have to swear.”

”I swear.”

Nakajima Hoto sighed in distress, saying, ”Actually, I haven’t avoided initiating contact with him, but he seems completely unaware.”

”Huh?”

”Yesterday I had a scene with him, and I even brought him a cup of coffee, but all he said was thank you.”

”Hmm, a cup of coffee doesn’t really indicate much,” Zhou Yun said, ”Why don’t you directly invite him to see a movie? This signal is more direct and obvious.”

Nakajima Hoto immediately shook her head, saying, ”But that’s too direct. What if he rejects me? That would be so awkward.”

”To convey your feelings, you have to be a bit direct.”

”Does he not have any feelings for me? Why hasn’t he taken the initiative?” Nakajima Hoto asked, slightly distressed.

She pursed her lips, asking, ”Xiao Yun, between you and Song Chi, who confessed first? How did you get together?”

Zhou Yun didn’t expect Nakajima Hoto to suddenly ask about herself.

She was slightly stunned, thought for a bit, and then said, ”Well... how should I say it, our situation is quite special, not quite like normal couples.”

”What?”

”Before we officially got together, many media outlets were already gossiping about us, but the truth is, we weren’t together at that time. To be honest, we were actually pushed together by those rumors,” Zhou Yun said. ”Before formally getting together, we tested and talked a lot too, and were quite hesitant about being together—after all, we’re both actors. To sum up, there are many complicated things, and everyone’s situation is different. My story with Song Chi might not be applicable to you.”

Nakajima Hoto sighed.

”But Xiao Sui, if you like him, why not take the initiative a bit? We’re still filming together now, but once this film is wrapped up, it might be hard to see each other. When the movie releases and we do promotions, it might be a year later,” Zhou Yun said. ”No matter the outcome, don’t let yourself regret it, don’t leave any regrets.”

Nakajima Hoto nodded.
