Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

”The Captain Xia we know is definitely not the same person. I admit my mistake. I definitely admit my mistake.” Gao Xiao rubbed her arms. She didn’t listen to Ye Jian’s explanation at all.

It was the same for the other female soldiers.

They nodded and agreed.

”It’s not the same. It’s definitely not the same person.”

”He’s fierce and ruthless. He’s not as reasonable as you say, Instructor Ye. No, no. The male soldiers all say that Instructor Xia is very scary!”

”That’s why I said that Instructor Ye is the best. She actually thinks that Instructor Xia is very normal and that he’s just a little strict.”

The female soldiers didn’t listen to Ye Jian’s explanation. What else could Ye Jian say?

She nodded and said seriously, ”It might be because I’m already used to Instructor Xia’s military style that I don’t have such an intense reaction.”

This explanation was reasonable. The female soldiers nodded in agreement.

”So, you’re already a qualified special forces soldier even though you’re younger than us. Meanwhile, we’re still fighting for our goal. A strict teacher produces a good student. Instructor Ye, we still have two more months. Why don’t you be stricter? Try your best to be like Instructor Xia?”

Ye Jian expressed that she would definitely work hard to be like Instructor Xia and train them strictly.

Gao Xiao, who was at the side, heard this and opened her mouth several times. She really wanted to tell Instructor Ye, ’If you really follow in instructor Xia’s footsteps, you definitely won’t be able to get married in the future. No matter how beautiful you are, no man will dare to marry you.’

Just like the Instructor Xia now. So what if he was handsome? He was definitely still a bachelor!

Ye Jian wasn’t aware of Gao Xiao’s thoughts. She quickly ended the conversation.

When they talked about Captain Xia, they all looked like they were so frightened that they wouldn’t be able to sleep tonight. She felt tired for them.

She felt that Xia Jinyuan’s actions were funny. In order to keep a distance from the female soldiers, Captain Xia had put in a lot of effort. She had to talk to him tomorrow.

On the 26th, during lunch break, Ye Jian met Xia Jinyuan and told him about the female soldiers’ evaluation with a smile. Xia Jinyuan almost applauded when he heard that.

”It’s right to be afraid of me. This is the effect I want. I go to your class from time to time. If they think that I’m easy to get along with, they’ll suspect me in less than a week.

”I have to make them afraid. If they’re afraid, they won’t suspect our relationship when they see me.”

Hearing this, Ye Jian remained silent for a long time.

After a while, said in a soft voice, ”You did this… because of me. It’s all because of me.”

In order to let her lead the training in peace and not hear any rumors, he used such a self-harming method to silently escort her. However, she didn’t notice anything.

If she didn’t hear the female soldiers’ unanimous evaluation of him last night, she might never have realized it!

Xia Jinyuan smiled. ”I won’t interfere with your training, but I can’t let you be questioned because of me. If you hear some unpleasant words, it might even affect your future.

”I can’t spoil you in the military unit, but in life, I have to protect you and escort you. Otherwise, my existence will be meaningless. You don’t need a man who drags you down.

”I don’t need other people to see how good I am. It doesn’t matter if they misunderstand me or slander me. I don’t care either. The only person I care about is you.”

Xia Jinyuan’s gentleness and kindness had always only been toward Ye Jian. Only Ye Jian knew that all his gentleness and emotions existed for her alone.

As for other women, they would never be able to get it.
