Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Three days ago, G3 led 20 special forces soldiers and split into four groups to enter the four restricted areas in the northwest. Today was the second night of their operation. They had been moving forward without being discovered.

However, they didn’t expect the captain, Q King, who appeared as carefree as though he was going on a holiday before he left the team, to be here too. He was very close to them.

He was ten meters away and could hear them if they were to shout. How could it not be close?

”From here, we have to pass through the camp of the Vanguard Battalion. There are still about 30 kilometers left. We can go around here…” The weak light shone on a military topographic map. G3’s finger quickly moved across the topographic map. ”We can’t go through their camp directly. We have to go around here and pass through this barren mountain to approach the target.

”This barren mountain is a little difficult to walk on. There are many rolling stones, and the terrain is complicated. There’s a natural barrier. There’s a high chance of getting lost after entering. What do you think? Should we go around it?”

K7 took a look and looked at Z7. Z7 could decide this.

Z7 looked at it again and again. Just as he was about to speak, he suddenly heard V8, who was in charge of guarding, shout, ”There’s movement. Hide!”

The five of them slipped away faster than rabbits. They quickly found a place to hide and restrained their breathing as they stared at their surroundings.

The wind from the mountain range matched the silence of the night. It was like ghosts wailing and wolves howling. It was as if they were in a strange territory. The five people hiding pricked up their ears and listened carefully, but they realized that besides the sound of the wind, there was no other movement.

If there was no movement, it meant that there was a problem. V8 wouldn’t have heard wrong.

After about five minutes, Xia Jinyuan pointed at Z7’s hiding place to Ye Jian and made a hand gesture, indicating that he should go to Z7’s side.

Ye Jian nodded. The two people hiding moved toward Z7 first.

On the other hand, the male and female soldiers led by the squad leaders couldn’t find their instructors. They were in front, but they had lost them.

Yang Zhen whispered to the deputy squad leader beside her, ”We can’t stop. Continue searching until we find the suspicious people.”

”Okay!” The deputy squad leader nodded. She asked worriedly, ”What about the instructor? What should we do?”

”They should’ve discovered other problems, but they can’t contact us right now.” Yang Zhen wasn’t too worried about their instructors. Now, the problem was on their side.

She didn’t panic. Instead, she thought of a way to solve it.

The squad leader of the male soldiers also felt that they needed to continue searching and not stay still. He said to Yang Zhen, ”I’ll send two comrades to the nearest outpost. We have to inform the camp.”

The instructors were nowhere to be seen, and the suspicious people were nowhere to be seen. Now, it was up to them to organize the operation.

The male soldiers and female soldiers quickly had a new combat plan. The inexperienced female soldiers were led by the male soldiers to continue searching. As for Z7, his face was covered in tears.

”Aren’t the two of you too much? Why are you only staring at me? Didn’t you see that there are four other people? You’re too much!”

Z7, who realized that something was wrong behind him and couldn’t dodge in time, was pounced on by Xia Jinyuan. As for the other four comrades, they watched silently as Z7 was pounced on.

It couldn’t be helped. He was the slowest to react!

The other comrades noticed it, but he didn’t. Heh, he was merely pounced on by Q King. He didn’t get beaten up directly.

No one paid attention to Z7’s ’complaints’. Instead, they were very interested in Xia Jinyuan and Ye Jian.

T6 was envious. ”No wonder Q King was so carefree when he left. It turned out that he went to look for Azure Bird! Isn’t that right? Isn’t it?”
