I Just Started College, How Could I Become a Part-Time Papa?!

Chapter 89: Chapter 72: All for the New Mom’s Health

Chen Yuan checked the time. ”Let’s bathe her first. I’ll change later.”

”Okay, let’s go.”

The two went to the bathroom and bathed the baby, just like always.

Mili played with the water, splashing Jiang Wanyi’s chest. But since it was just a small area, she didn’t bother changing.

After the bath, Chen Yuan carried the baby to the spare bedroom, dried her off, and changed her into some light clothes.

”You should change too. I’ll go wash your clothes.”

As she spoke, Jiang Wanyi turned her back but remained standing in the doorway, not leaving.

”We have a deal. You can’t turn around.”

”Pfft-hahaha...”

Jiang Wanyi was laughing hard. ”I won’t turn around. Just hurry up and change.”

In a flash, he had changed his clothes.

Jiang Wanyi left with Chen Yuan’s clothes, while he stayed in the bedroom to play with Mili, helping her practice her crawling and gripping skills.

In the bathroom, Jiang Wanyi washed their underwear and socks, hearing Mili’s laughter from time to time.

She had been taking care of the baby all day and was exhausted. But the sound of her child’s laughter was like magic. The moment she thought about Mili getting along so harmoniously with Chen Yuan, and how much fun they were having, all her fatigue vanished.

After finishing the laundry, she returned to the room to see her daughter in Chen Yuan’s arms. The two were gazing at each other so affectionately that they didn’t even notice her presence.

When Chen Yuan was with her, he was never serious, hardly ever even behaving himself.

But at this moment, his expression was incredibly gentle.

’Could my precious daughter have really been Chen Yuan’s ”little lover” in a past life?’

’Did she choose the wrong person this time around, only to end up back by his side through a twist of fate?’

’It seems...’

’...possible...’

’Sigh...’

She sighed to herself. ’It feels like my only role as a mother is to breastfeed.’

About ten minutes later, Mili slowly drifted off to sleep, still clutching a small, colorful ball as she lay peacefully in Chen Yuan’s arms.

Quietly, Jiang Wanyi walked over, sat down beside Chen Yuan, and planted a kiss on the baby’s little face.

A little while later, once Mili was sound asleep, Chen Yuan gently placed her on the bed. Jiang Wanyi tucked her in and gave her little foot a kiss.

Their eyes met in a moment of tacit understanding.

It was time for her postpartum recovery session.

Jiang Wanyi changed into a pair of figure-hugging yoga pants, which were convenient for her postpartum recovery and for the workout to follow.

Every time she lay on her side for the pelvic tapping, he could see her butt jiggle.

So, Chen Yuan would always add a few extra taps and press on different acupressure points for a little longer.

It was all for the new mother’s postpartum recovery. There were no ulterior motives whatsoever.

”Are you busy next weekend?”

”I have the second part of my driving test on Saturday, but I’m free Sunday. What’s up?”

”You’ve been helping me with my postpartum recovery for so long, and I think it’s been really effective. I was thinking of going to the hospital for a check-up next week to see how my recovery is going,” Jiang Wanyi said, lying on her side.

”Besides, the weather is getting colder by the day, so I can’t take her out as much. After the check-up, I wanted to take her out for a bit, like a little excursion. Do you have time to come with us?”

”No problem. Next Sunday it is.”

”Mhm.”

After the pelvic massage, it was time for the rectus abdominis, working his way up from the sides.

When he was doing the pelvic recovery, you could arguably call it work. But the abdominal recovery was a completely different story.

Jiang Wanyi wasn’t a stick-thin woman; she had some soft curves, especially a little paunch on her stomach that was incredibly soft to the touch.

It felt amazing, every bit as good as the lactation massages.

Chen Yuan was quite addicted, and Jiang Wanyi found it very comfortable too. It was a perfect match; as long as it felt good, that’s all that mattered.

About an hour later, this session of postpartum recovery was over.

”Sooo comfortable~~”

Jiang Wanyi got up and stretched her joints.

”You’ve spoiled me with these massages. Even when it’s not time for recovery, I still want you to give me a massage.”

”Call me anytime you want one. I can even change into an air marshal’s uniform for you. Or a suit and shirt, if you prefer.”

”You really see me as your sugar mama, don’t you?”

”Hey, we’re buddies. I’ll give you a discount. You can even get a monthly package. I’m all about repeat business.”

”You little rascal.”

Jiang Wanyi couldn’t stop laughing as she took out her yoga mat.

”She’s fast asleep, so you don’t have to stay in here watching her. I subscribed to a streaming service on the TV a few days ago. Come out and watch something, or play on your phone. Don’t just coop yourself up in the room.”

”Alright.”

From the living room sofa, you could see into the spare bedroom, so if anything happened with Mili, they would notice immediately.

Chen Yuan lay comfortably on the sofa while Jiang Wanyi spread her yoga mat out beside it. She then took out her other equipment and began her postpartum recovery exercises.

’Who needs TV?’ he thought. ’Watching her do her postpartum exercises is entertaining enough.’

With everything ready, Jiang Wanyi got into the zone. She was focused and serious, her eyes filled with the desire for a good figure.

Lying on the yoga mat, she bent her legs and opened and closed them to the sides, an exercise that helps with pelvic floor recovery.

”Spread them a little wider. The effect will be better.”

”Mm.”

Jiang Wanyi grunted in acknowledgment and tried to widen the range of motion.

Lying on the sofa, eating fruit, and scrolling through his phone, he would occasionally glance over at Jiang Wanyi doing her exercises, and then check on Mili from time to time. He had both mother and daughter right where he wanted them.

And with Chen Yuan there watching, Jiang Wanyi didn’t feel bored anymore.

”’Top ten catchphrases from web novels, which one’s your favorite? *Before time began, at the peak of arrogance...*’”

”’When a baby is six months old, you can start introducing some solid foods...’”
