I Just Started College, How Could I Become a Part-Time Papa?!

Chapter 63: Chapter 63: I Killed Your Great Aunt

”So what should I do? People have already said it,” Jiang Wanyi said with a laugh.

”How about this? From now on, whenever we go out, I’ll tell everyone I meet that my husband is amazing, a real Mr. Wei Meng?”

”Just calling me ’husband’ is enough. No need to say I’m amazing. That’s a bit like protesting too much.”

”You naughty little brother, you’ve already learned how to take advantage of your big sister.”

Chen Yuan chuckled and walked to the dining table, picking up the electric heating pad.

”Here, put this on your stomach.”

”Mm.”

Taking the heating pad and placing it on her lower abdomen, Jiang Wanyi said apologetically, ”I promised I’d cook for you today, but after all this fuss, I didn’t get to make you anything. When I’m feeling a bit better, I’ll go make you those oysters.”

”If you do that, it’ll just make it seem like there’s really something wrong with me.”

”Hehehe... As long as I know what’s really going on, that’s all that matters.”

Jiang Wanyi was laughing hard. ”If this happens again in the future, I’ll just say it’s my problem, so you can save face.”

”That plan works for me.”

That evening, Chen Yuan ordered some takeout and made sure Jiang Wanyi ate some as well.

By eight o’clock, she was feeling much better and had no problem standing up and walking around.

”You should lie down for a little longer.”

”I can’t. They’re full.”

Given their current relationship, they were no longer shy about discussing such matters.

”I’ll go give her a bath.”

”Okay.”

They each went about their own business. By the time Mili’s bath was done, Jiang Wanyi had also ”emptied her stock.” After coaxing the baby to sleep, she handed a baby bottle to Chen Yuan.

”Don’t save it for tomorrow morning. Just take care of it today.”

”An after-dinner drink, too.”

Chen Yuan downed it in one gulp. He then saw that Jiang Wanyi had changed into the same outfit from last night.

”Don’t tell me you’re still going to do your postpartum recovery exercises?”

”I’m fully recovered now. I feel fine, so I can’t fall behind.”

”Are you sure you’re okay?”

”I’m really fine. Don’t worry about me.”

”Then let’s start now.”

Jiang Wanyi lay down next to the child, and just like yesterday, they began the postpartum recovery exercises.

’She changed styles today, switching to a pure cotton pair. There was nothing special about the design, but seeing something was better than seeing nothing.’

”Ahh—”

When he pressed on her pelvis, Jiang Wanyi let out a sharp cry but quickly covered her mouth.

”That hurt, didn’t it.”

”A little, but I can bear it.”

”But I think I used too much force.”

”I think you used the same amount of force yesterday.”

”Yesterday was different from today.”

”How is it different?”

”I used a bit too much force just now and killed your auntie.”

”What do you mean, ’killed your auntie’?”

”I mean I killed her. Auntie’s spitting up blood. I need to flee the scene of the crime now.”

Chen Yuan turned and walked out. It took Jiang Wanyi a moment to react, then she shot up, pulled her shorts aside, and saw the bright red inside. She twisted around to look at her butt.

It bled through...

’What the hell!’

’It’s five days early!’

’A woman has her dignity, you know!’

...

「The next morning」

When Chen Yuan woke up, Mili was still asleep.

Her fair, tender little face was like a soft cloud.

’A little kiss on the cheek.’

’Hee hee hee...’

He got dressed and went out to find Jiang Wanyi already in the kitchen preparing breakfast.

There were store-bought buns, she was making porridge in the kitchen, and a delicious glass of milk was set on the dining table.

”Next time you come over for the weekend, bring your dirty clothes from the dorm. I can wash them for you while I’m at it.”

”No need, I can do it myself.”

”I’ve even washed your underwear for you. What’s there to be embarrassed about?”

”Those are two different things. You’re not my maid.”

Jiang Wanyi hadn’t thought of it that way. She just wanted to help him out with whatever she could.

”I wasn’t overthinking it, but you clearly are. If you don’t bring them, I’ll just start washing the clothes right off your back.”

Chen Yuan instinctively wanted to refuse, but it seemed he had no way of doing so.

After breakfast, Chen Yuan left.

Jiang Wanyi put the dishes in the kitchen sink, getting ready to wash them.

Just then, her phone on the dining table rang.

”Teacher Xue.”

”Teacher Jiang, are you free tomorrow afternoon?”

”What’s up?”

”There’s a department meeting tomorrow afternoon about the boutique courses. You need to come and lead it. Is that convenient for you? If you don’t have time, we can reschedule, but this needs to be settled this week.”

”Hold on a moment. I’ll get back to you soon.”

”Okay.”

Jiang Wanyi hung up, planning to ask her mom if she was busy tomorrow.

If her mom could come help watch the baby, there wouldn’t be a problem. If not, she would have to arrange for another time...

...

After leaving Jiang Wanyi’s place, Chen Yuan went to the hotel to meet up with Song Jianye, and they went to the driving school together.

After a full day, Chen Yuan had become much more skilled. It seemed he wouldn’t have any problem passing the test even if he took it right now.

Song Jianye was still a bit clumsy and flustered, but she had made some progress compared to yesterday.

In other news, he also received a message from Fang Youning that he had advanced in the competition.

He had also decided on the song he was going to sing.

”Dull-Ice Flower.”

The ”cutesy” factor wasn’t too high. It had even appeared on variety shows before, so it was a respectable song to perform.

”Xiaosong, the driving school’s car might be a piece of junk, but you can’t be so forceful. Two turns and the wheel is at its limit.”

”Coach Zhou, I’m not strong. I don’t have much strength at all.”

Zhou Jianye smacked his lips. ’The steering wheel is about to be twisted right off...’

In one day, Chen Yuan had made massive progress, while Song Jianye had made minuscule progress. But she had a healthy appetite, so there was hope for her yet.

After finishing their practice for the day, the two of them walked side-by-side out of the driving school.

As they walked, he realized Song Jianye was no longer beside him. He turned back and saw her on the phone, but she had fallen behind, and he couldn’t hear what she was saying.

”Uncle Zhang, I’m done with my driving practice.”

”How did it feel today? Did you make any progress? Do you need me to come pick you up?”
