I Just Started College, How Could I Become a Part-Time Papa?!

Chapter 61: Chapter 61: Coach, Do I Look Like an Old Driver?

Jiang Wanyi’s expression froze. It was strangely charming to see a mature woman look so adorably clueless.

That was something she had never considered.

”It’s just a salty taste. Go wipe them off, or give them a quick rinse. It should be fine if you try feeding her again after that.”

”I’ll go try it.”

Getting off the bed, Jiang Wanyi went to the bathroom.

Chen Yuan didn’t know how she washed up, but she returned within a few minutes. She must have only washed the necessary spots.

”Try again.”

Jiang Wanyi took the baby. As Chen Yuan stood by the door, the baby quickly fell silent, and he heard a soft SMACK SMACK SMACK.

”It really worked...”

Jiang Wanyi looked back, exasperated. ”She really won’t put up with anything, will she?”

”Kids are like that.”

Chen Yuan chuckled and returned to the living room. On his phone was a new message from Fang Youning, wishing him good night.

The message had been sent over ten minutes ago. ’She’s probably asleep by now.’ Chen Yuan decided not to reply, in case he woke her.

After the feeding, Jiang Wanyi soothed the baby for a bit until she fell asleep. Then it was time for her postpartum recovery session.

Instead of going back to her own room, she simply lay down on the bed in the spare bedroom.

This time was different from before. Jiang Wanyi was wearing shorts, revealing her fair legs. It was a different kind of aesthetic compared to the yoga pants.

He moved her legs to one side, pressing down and tapping on her pelvis.

”Does it hurt?”

”A little, but I can bear it,” Jiang Wanyi said, taking a deep breath.

”I’m going to use more force this time. It will hurt.”

”Mm, go ahead. Ah—”

Jiang Wanyi let out a sharp cry of pain but quickly muffled herself, afraid of waking the baby sleeping nearby.

”That was a little too much force.”

”You’ve already recovered quite a bit. If you want to get your legs back into perfect shape, we’ll have to get a little aggressive. Brute force works wonders, get what I’m saying?”

”Understood. Go ahead. I can take it.”

”Mm.”

After finishing one side, he switched to the other, tapping repeatedly.

But what drew Chen Yuan’s gaze was the edge of her shorts. A black, lacy trim was peeking out, holding a strange allure.

Holding her breath and waiting for Chen Yuan to apply force, Jiang Wanyi noticed his movements had slowed.

A faint blush crept across Jiang Wanyi’s face, though she didn’t realize she was exposed.

’Are my legs really that attractive to him?

This little virgin probably hasn’t seen much of the world.

Then again, it just goes to show he’s a decent guy. Otherwise, with a face like his, he shouldn’t have any trouble finding a girlfriend.’

Just like that, almost an hour passed.

Chen Yuan thoroughly enjoyed the view, and Jiang Wanyi felt a little smug, pleased that her legs still had some appeal.

After the postpartum recovery session ended, Jiang Wanyi went to do her own exercises.

...

「The next morning.」

Mili woke up a little after six.

Hearing the cries, Jiang Wanyi hurried over. With a black tie in her hand, she pulled her hair back before carrying the baby out to the living room.

By the time Chen Yuan got dressed and came out, Jiang Wanyi had already finished feeding the baby and was burping her. She still seemed half-asleep and groggy.

She soothed the baby for a while longer until she fell back asleep, then gently placed her back in bed.

”Aren’t you going to driving practice today? What time?”

”Nine o’clock. There’s still time,” Chen Yuan said with a yawn.

”You should sleep a little more. I’ll go make breakfast.”

”I’ve slept enough. I’m good.”

Jiang Wanyi went to the kitchen and poured him a cup of the Seven Treasures Water he had brewed for her.

”Here, drink some.”

”But this is what I made for you. I won’t drink it.”

”It’s not a big deal if I’m a little run down; I’ll recover with some rest. It’s different for a man. You have to take care of your... energy.”

Tucking her hair back, Jiang Wanyi asked, ”Do you like oysters? I can make some for you tonight.”

”Huh? I don’t think I’m at the point where I need to eat oysters, am I?”

”What’s the big deal? I won’t laugh at you.”

”After the hundred-day mark, we won’t even know each other, so there’ll be nothing for you to laugh at.”

It took Jiang Wanyi a moment to realize what Chen Yuan meant, then she hit him with her small fist.

”You little rascal, go wash up.”

”Hehe...”

Chen Yuan went to the bathroom. When he came out, Jiang Wanyi was busy in the kitchen, cooking a bowl of seafood noodles.

After a satisfying meal, it was time to go. He put on his shoes and headed out.

”If there’s anything you want to eat, tell me in advance, and I’ll make it for you tonight.”

”I’ll think about it.”

”Go on, practice well.”

Chen Yuan left, took a bus back to University City, walked to the hotel, and met Song Jianye.

She was wearing a short pink skirt, her flawless, pale legs on full display, like a meticulously sculpted work of art.

This kind of ”skirt” only looked like one from the outside; it was actually a skort, so there was no risk of accidental exposure.

”Miss, are you sure you don’t need me to drive you?” Uncle Zhang walked over and said.

”The two of us will be fine. The bus is only two yuan.”

While glad his young miss was maturing, he was also worried about her facing hardships.

Watching the two of them leave, Uncle Zhang sighed quietly. Though not her father, he felt like one.

”Uncle Zhang said he upgraded us to a dual VIP package.”

”Huh? When did he do that?”

”He upgraded it during our first practice session. He said there were too many people practicing with us, and it was slowing down our progress.”

”He really went out of his way.”

”See? I told you Uncle Zhang is really good to me.”

Chen Yuan nodded. This was also something that puzzled him.

As just a driver, Uncle Zhang doted on Song Jianye like a father.

Soon, the two arrived at the driving school.

Because of the VIP upgrade, Zhou Jianye’s attitude was even better than the first time. He all but built a shrine to worship them.

Chen Yuan wondered, ’How much money did Uncle Zhang spend for them to get treated like royalty at a place like this?’

The two took turns practicing. In one morning, Chen Yuan had pretty much gotten the hang of it. Song Jianye’s progress was a bit slow; she was either stalling the engine, driving over the lines, or couldn’t find her reference points.

But money talks. With enough cash involved, it didn’t matter if she was a bad driver. Even if Song Jianye had set the car ablaze, the instructor would have praised her as a promising talent for lighting fires.

”Guys really are fast learners. Among all the male students I’ve taught, you’re one of the fastest,” Zhou Jianye said.

Song Jianye: ’Chen Yuan really is the best!’

”I feel like I’m scarily good now, like a seasoned driver.”

”You’ve driven twice and you already think you’re a seasoned pro?” Zhou Jianye said, raising an eyebrow with a cigarette between his fingers.

”Don’t believe me? Let me give you a demonstration.”

Chen Yuan rolled down the car window.

”Do you fucking know how to drive?!”

”If you can’t drive, then go fuck your mother!”

”Coach, what do you think? Do I seem like a seasoned driver now?”
