I Just Started College, How Could I Become a Part-Time Papa?!

Chapter 40: Chapter 40: That Was Then, Now He’s a Pervert

By the time he got to Jiang Wanyi’s home, the baby was already back.

Jiang Wanyi was dressed for comfort in a loose tank top and soft pants. She hadn’t bothered to style her hair, simply tying it in a messy bun. At home, it was all about what felt good.

This casual, unfiltered appearance was the best proof of how close they’d become. In private, they no longer felt the need to keep up appearances.

”Goo goo...”

When she saw Chen Yuan, Mili’s eyes crinkled into happy slits. She opened her arms and started crawling toward the edge of her playpen.

It had been a few days, and Chen Yuan had missed Mili, too. He stepped into the playpen, picked her up, and then looked over at Jiang Wanyi.

”It’s about time. You go get changed first.”

”I was just waiting for you to get here.”

Jiang Wanyi brushed back her bangs and went into her bedroom.

When she came out again, she was holding a baby bottle, which she placed on the table.

She had changed into a black, form-fitting dress with a cinched waist that accentuated her figure.

Her chest was especially prominent, full and youthful.

’She must not be wearing a regular bra under there. It’s probably a push-up one.’

After coming out, she adjusted her dress and was about to ask Chen Yuan if it looked good, but then she noticed his gaze was fixed on her.

”So? This outfit is okay, right?”

”Very nice.”

Given Chen Yuan’s smooth-talking nature, he would have said it looked good regardless. ’But it must actually look good,’ Jiang Wanyi figured, ’since he was staring so intently.’

Women, well, sometimes they just like to hear those kinds of nice, meaningless words.

”Here, this is for you.”

Jiang Wanyi picked up the baby bottle from the table and handed it to Chen Yuan. It still contained over 200 milliliters of milk.

The two of them exchanged a look, a silent, mutual understanding passing between them.

Chen Yuan walked over to the dining table while Jiang Wanyi went into the kitchen. She filled the baby’s sippy cup with water in case she got thirsty on their trip.

”I’ll leave this job to you, too. Make her drink a little so she doesn’t get thirsty on the way.”

”Mm.”

Chen Yuan, holding the baby, sat down on the sofa and placed Mili on his lap.

With one hand, he helped Mili hold her cartoon sippy cup, and with the other, he held the baby bottle.

”Alright, let’s have a toast.”

GIGGLE GIGGLE GIGGLE...

Mili giggled happily, but she didn’t seem to want the water, reaching instead for the bottle in Chen Yuan’s hand.

”You can’t have this one. This one’s mine. You can only have water. Come on, cheers.”

Mili was very obedient in Chen Yuan’s arms. When he said she couldn’t have the milk, she didn’t ask for it again.

Her cute, fair little hands held the cartoon sippy cup and gently clinked it against Chen Yuan’s bottle.

In the kitchen, Jiang Wanyi watched Chen Yuan and her precious daughter, not knowing whether to laugh or cry.

’And that ”You can’t have this one. This one’s mine...” It’s like I’m raising two children.’

’Well, I might as well let him drink more. It’s all nutritious stuff, anyway. Besides, his father isn’t here, so I should take extra care of him.’

She opened the refrigerator and took out a pair of nude-colored stockings.

After tearing off the packaging, she threw it into the kitchen trash can and took the stockings back to her bedroom.

She slipped the nude stockings over her feet, pulling them up little by little.

But Jiang Wanyi’s thoughts drifted to something else.

’With my current milk supply, Mili can’t even finish it all. There’s quite a bit left over every day... giving it all to Chen Yuan... that doesn’t seem so bad, does it?’

As she mulled it over, a faint, gentle smile touched the corners of Jiang Wanyi’s lips.

’That little rascal. I’ll just consider it his lucky day.’

The stockings were on her legs. All she had to do was lift her skirt and pull them up like pants.

But just as she stood up, she saw Chen Yuan outside, peeking at her through the crack of the door.

Outside the door, Chen Yuan immediately averted his gaze.

Slightly awkward.

Seeing the slightly flustered look on Chen Yuan’s face, Jiang Wanyi wanted to laugh. But she felt she had to maintain her dignity as an ”older sister,” so she composed her expression and shut the door.

’While I was putting on my stockings just now, I was completely preoccupied with the breast milk thing and didn’t notice him. He was probably watching for a while.’

She lifted her skirt and pulled up the pantyhose.

To Jiang Wanyi, so-called ”stockings” were just... stockings. Nothing special. But after scrolling through too much TikTok, she had gradually realized that things like this seemed to have a certain appeal to guys his age.

’If he wants to look, then let him look. It’s not a big deal.’

Once the pantyhose were on, Jiang Wanyi stood before the full-length mirror in her bedroom, looking at her figure.

’This brand of stockings is actually pretty good. Not only do they make my legs look slimmer, but they also seem to have a bit of a butt-lifting effect. I should buy a few more pairs to stock up.’

When Jiang Wanyi came out of the bedroom, Chen Yuan was a little embarrassed.

But...

Whatever...

’My reputation precedes me, for better or for worse. I used to be a player; now I’m just a perv.’

”Let’s go. I got her all dressed.”

”Amazing.”

Jiang Wanyi gave Chen Yuan a thumbs-up. She had been busy with herself and hadn’t paid attention to the baby, but Chen Yuan had already prepared everything they needed to go out, packing it all in the little backpack. She hadn’t had to do a thing.

The corners of her mouth lifted into a smile. She genuinely thought Chen Yuan was amazing.

As for the flirtatious little moment earlier, neither of them mentioned it. It became their little secret.

”Just average. Only a tiny bit more outstanding than the average person.”

’Give him an inch and he takes a mile.’

’I see he’s not just good at babysitting, but at peeking, too. That lucky little rascal.’

”Let’s go, it’s about time.”

”Mm-hm.”

Chen Yuan held the baby with one arm while putting on his shoes with his free hand. Jiang Wanyi gathered the kitchen scraps, tied up the bag, and slung her own bag over her shoulder. Then, the two of them left together.

”I forgot to ask you, how did your theory test go?”

Jiang Wanyi asked as they walked.

”92. Passed with flying colors.”

”If you passed the first written test, the final one won’t be a problem either. Guys usually pick up the driving parts faster. Once you get your license, you can practice with my car. Then I won’t have to drive when we go out anymore.”

”Sure. I’ll hit a couple of old guys to liven things up.”

AHAHAHA...

The joke made Jiang Wanyi bend over laughing. ”You’re a grown man, and still so completely immature.”

Laughing and chatting, the three of them arrived at the mall.

Jiang Wanyi had a stroller, but Mili didn’t want to sit in it, preferring to stay in Chen Yuan’s arms.

Chen Yuan was carrying her with one arm, so Mili was essentially sitting on his forearm. The whole way there, any little thing Chen Yuan did to tease her would send her into fits of giggles.

Jiang Wanyi wondered to herself, ’Why does she like Chen Yuan so much?’

”Say ’Dada’.”

”Ba~”

”Good girl. Give me a nuzzle.”

Chen Yuan leaned in and nuzzled his cheek against Mili’s.

Jiang Wanyi stood nearby, a gentle smile on her lips.

’If this keeps up, her first word is going to be ’Dada’.’

’But that doesn’t seem so bad.’

’Her calling anyone else that would be a no-go, but Chen Yuan... I think I can accept that.’

”Come, let Mommy wipe your mouth.”

Jiang Wanyi took out a soft tissue and moved to one side, only to find her precious daughter looking like a teenage girl madly in love, her little head resting on Chen Yuan’s chest, being exceptionally obedient.

’Could the principle of opposites attracting apply even to a child this young?’
