The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 497: Chapter 497: Why don’t you hurry up and have a child?_1

Leah Frost was indeed strong, but she definitely couldn’t kill Gunner Tate.

From Maxton James’ narrative, the image of Gunner Tate had already become quite vivid and specific.

Powerful, self-absorbed, indifferent, merciless!

With his own strength, he subdued the entire Five Dragon Sect; even now at just over fifty years old, one could see his terrifying talent.

An average Cultivator with some talent at that age would typically have Master Strength, but he had already become an Innate Grandmaster, and he could even overpower other Innate Grandmasters of the Five Dragon Sect. Such talent couldn’t be described as anything but horrifying, no wonder he was so arrogant.

If Leah Frost could take down Gunner Tate, Carson wouldn’t mind clinging to his aunt’s coattails. However, based on the description provided by Gordon James, Gunner Tate’s power had reached a certain realm, certainly not something Leah Frost could contend with.

”Auntie, I’m telling you this because I’m worried about sudden emergencies that you might not be aware of. You mustn’t go looking for trouble with Gunner Tate. As far as I know, she’s not someone you can handle. He killed his senior brother, killed the Sect Master, and eventually took the position of Sect Master himself. Everyone in the Five Dragon Sect is too terrified to disobey, which goes to show his terrifying strength.”

Carson looked earnestly at Leah Frost, ”Auntie, promise me, don’t go after Gunner Tate alone.”

Being stared at by Carson like this, Leah Frost felt somewhat uncomfortable and deflected reproachfully, ”How could I possibly go after him alone?”

Carson smiled and said nothing, continuing to stare at her.

Feeling cornered and flustered by Carson’s gaze, Leah Frost had no choice but to punch him lightly, ”Alright, alright, I promise you, I won’t go looking for him alone. Happy now?”

Upon hearing Leah’s tone, Carson knew she had indeed entertained such thoughts, and he felt quite moved.

This was his real aunt!

Truly related by blood!

”Auntie, you treat me as a junior, as family, I understand. But I’m an adult too. Give me some time, and I could beat Gunner Tate myself. There’s no need for you to risk everything. If something happened to you because of me, wouldn’t I be guilt-ridden for life?”

Carson laughed, ”Besides, if we really need to fight, I can call on Rocky Stein. Two against one is always better than you fighting alone, right?”

Leah Frost looked at Carson, her gaze suddenly distant, ”You’re becoming more and more like your dad.”

Carson laughed, ”What was my dad like?”

Leah Frost smiled and said, ”Handsome, responsible, confident, and, well, it’s mainly that innate confidence. The kind that makes you believe he could hold up the sky on his shoulders if it fell. With handsome and talented guys like you around as a benchmark, your aunt might remain single for life.”

Carson couldn’t help but grin, ”Auntie, it’s just that your standards are too high. You’re so beautiful, so dignified, anyone pursuing you could line up from the eastern to the West Gate of Xijing...”

”But I’m not pleased,” Leah Frost declared confidently, ”How could I play the role of a happy little woman with someone who can’t even beat me? If disaster strikes, should I be the one to stand up to it? What would be the point of getting married then?”

At a loss for words, Carson changed tack, ”Don’t worry. Even if you never marry, when you’re old, I’ll take care of you!”

Leah Frost made a face, clearly unimpressed, ”Forget it, you’re only a few years younger than I am. I’m not weaker than you, nor do I have a shorter lifespan. When I’m old, you’ll be old too. How are you going to take care of me?”

After a pause, Leah Frost’s gaze shifted to Samantha Tate, who was watching the exchange with amusement, and said with a smirk, ”Why don’t you two hurry up and have a child? I’m idle anyway and not dating anyone, so I could help you take care of the baby. To rely on you to care for me in my old age, I might as well count on my great-nephews and nieces...”

Samantha Tate’s face instantly flushed red.

She and Carson have a child?

Their relationship hadn’t even been fully defined yet; having a child seemed much too soon. But if Carson was willing, she surely would be too.

The thought of having a child by her side seemed like a very happy prospect.

Carson glanced at Samantha’s blushing cheeks and offered a slightly embarrassed smile, ”We’re still young, there’s no rush. Right now, I want to find my parents first.”

Carson hadn’t always been eager to find his origins because he subconsciously felt that if his parents cared about him, how could they have abandoned him, allowing his master to find him? How could they have left him alone for over twenty years?

But after learning more, Carson realized that his parents were separated from him due to circumstances beyond their control, and even now, their life and death were uncertain. Therefore, Carson hoped to find them and resolve everything once and for all.

Leah Frost criticized, ”You’re a Cultivator, with a long lifespan. Samantha is just an ordinary person. If you wait a few more years, she’ll be older. It’s better for women to have children early for a faster recovery. Delaying it not only slows down recovery, but while the children are still growing, you’ll be getting old...”

Carson was speechless, his aunt’s words making him sound like an irresponsible playboy...

Samantha Tate quickly interjected to diffuse the situation, ”Having children after thirty-five is considered late. I have plenty of time. No rush. Besides, Carson is in a dangerous position right now; better not to distract him. Let’s deal with the trouble from the Five Dragon Sect first...”
