The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 482: Chapter 482: Want to Kill Me? Come On, I’ll Give You the Chance_1

Garrett Howell’s face instantly turned crimson.

A seemingly casual question from Carson Flores was like a harsh slap to his face.

He wanted to shake his head, wanted to assert ”I don’t want it; let’s do as we previously agreed,” but he couldn’t utter the words.

Five Great Grandmasters!

Garrett Howell clenched his teeth and said, ”You are already a Great Grandmaster, these five spiritual pills aren’t of much use to you, but if they were given to the Howell Family, it could increase the number of our Great Grandmasters significantly, so it’s more worthwhile. We can compensate you in other ways later...”

Carson Flores laughed and said, ”When we established the rules, you weren’t like this. Back then, how tough and proud you were! Just for five spiritual pills you will abandon the pride of the Howell Family? If the word of this gets out, won’t you be afraid of disgracing the Howell Family?”

Garrett Howell’s complexion shifted subtly. Indeed, if this matter were to spread, it would show that the Howell Family, unable to defeat others, would skillfully bully their own. By forcefully extorting Carson Flores’ five spiritual pills with a majority, where would the Howell family place its face?

Josie Howell’s eyes flickered with a vicious light, and with a flash, she positioned herself directly behind Carson Flores, saying coldly, ”Since you intend to damage the reputation of the Howell Family, then you should stay here... and not go out anymore... Garrett, don’t hesitate, those are five Great Grandmasters!”

Ruben Howell, silently blocking the other side, said in a deep voice, ”Carson Flores can find four Innate Grandmasters to help him. If he harbors resentment because of this, wouldn’t he bring catastrophe upon the Howell Family? We might follow in the footsteps of the Vasquez Family. Since we are doing this, we should be thorough and leave no future troubles!”

These words jolted the hesitant Garrett Howell, and he instantly cast aside all hesitations, his gaze turning resolute.

Without taking Carson’s five spiritual pills, the Howell Family won’t be able to add five more Great Grandmasters. But taking them, Carson will inevitably harbor a grudge. Even if he keeps silent in the Underground City, once back on the surface, would he still remain silent?

Thinking of the fate of the Vasquez Family, Garrett Howell grew relentless and decisive. He took a step to the side, joining the other three in a circle around Carson Flores, completely blocking his escape.

”Carson Flores, I’m sorry!” he declared.

Carson Flores sighed, ”Just for five spiritual pills, you choose to murder and rob?”

Garrett Howell said gravely, ”For the safety of the Howell Family, we can’t take any risks. After all, you have the precedent of obliterating the Vasquez Family. After your death, we’ll find a suitable reason for it, given that you are the weakest, your probability of death is the greatest anyway.”

Carson Flores chuckled, ”You really are experts at courting death, aren’t you? A perfectly good situation, but you have to mess it up, and find different ways to do so...”

Garrett Howell and the others widened their eyes, watching the smiling Carson Flores, somewhat bewildered.

Has this guy gone mad?

Doesn’t he realize the four of them are preparing to join forces and kill him?

Am I the one courting death?

A bad premonition suddenly rose in Garrett Howell’s heart, and he had a nagging feeling that he might have made a terribly wrong decision.

But things had gone too far, Garrett Howell had no way back. He shouted, ”Kill him!”

As Garrett Howell shouted, Carson Flores’ body suddenly sprang into action like a ghostly shadow, taking the initiative to charge at Garrett Howell, throwing a punch at him.

Garrett Howell threw a punch.

”Boom!”

Garrett Howell was struck as if by thunder, spitting out a mouthful of blood and being directly knocked flying, thereby creating a huge breach in the encirclement of four.

Carson Flores, quick as lightning, burst outside the room.

Josie Howell screamed, ”We can’t let him get away, otherwise, the Howell Family will have endless troubles!”

Jeffrey Howell, with a grim face, tapped the ground with his toes and darted through the door.

As soon as Jeffrey Howell crossed the threshold, his pupils sharply constricted.

Carson Flores was right in front of him!

He hadn’t fled at all!

He was waiting for him!

No, he was waiting for the first person to come through the door to strike a heavy blow!

Carson Flores threw a punch like a storm or thunder, seemingly tearing through everything before him.

In the eyes of Jeffrey Howell, faced with Carson Flores’ incoming punch, a look of despair flashed.

Everyone thought Carson Flores was the weakest member of their five-person team, but this belief was wildly inaccurate!

Of all the Great Grandmasters Jeffrey Howell had seen, not a single one could throw such a ferocious punch, with such destructive power.

Jeffrey Howell felt as though he was in the dark seas, facing a wave as towering as a great mountain. As the wave crashed down, it was cataclysmic.

”Boom!”

Jeffrey Howell’s full-force punch was as frail as a soap bubble, easily bursting upon contact.

Jeffrey Howell’s body flew back, crashing into Ruben Howell, who had followed. Ruben could only catch Jeffrey Howell, and the two of them tumbled together on the ground like a gourd.

Josie Howell hadn’t even understood what was happening when Carson Flores suddenly stepped in from outside the door and smiled faintly at a stone’s throw away Josie Howell.

”You’ve always wanted to kill me, haven’t you? Come on, here’s your chance...”
