Return of the Antagonistic Lady Boss

Chapter 282: Chapter 270: Starting the Counterattack

The yellow immortal is the weasel in folklore, also known as the yellow-skinned creature. This animal is very adept at stealing chickens from farmers and has a great sense of spirituality. It’s said that yellow immortals hold grudges and shouldn’t be provoked.

The older generation firmly believes a yellow immortal can possess people, causing madness and gibberish, with severe cases leading to ”weasel life exchange, one life for another.” They dare not provoke them lightly, and won’t even hit them if seen. Whether it’s true or false, Qian has never seen it and will not easily conclude, as many remote places believe in it.

Shi Yu’s shout made everyone stop their actions. Qian curled her lips, good, the emotions were right, continue!

Could it be that this guy has been possessed by a yellow immortal?

After Shi Yu shouted, she suddenly started twitching as if she had a cramp, rolling back and forth on the ground. She began rolling sideways on the ground, and after two rolls, she suddenly jumped up with exaggerated movements even more so than disco dancing, her eyes turning white, and her hands becoming claw-like.

She was muttering something incomprehensible.

Qian found it amusing in her heart, telling her to act more convincingly, trying to mimic the spirit dance. What nonsense was she chanting?

Good cats, good dogs, whose turtle died enough, English is all dogs, all dogs, teachers all squat to walk! A flat basin of dough bakes a flat basin of pancake, basin flat pancake pancake flat basin! Black fertilizer volatilizes to fly flowers! Gray fertilizer volatilizes to fly flowers!

She was chanting too fast, mixing English and dialect from Q City. At first, indeed, it was quite scary, making tongue twisters feel like soul-calling incantations!

Moreover, the twitching was so artistic, if Qian didn’t know what was going on, she would have been scared by her.

The man buying Shi Touyu was dumbfounded, and the bald man immediately clutched his money tightly.

Could it be he was scared mad? If he’s mad, he won’t sell for a good price; once the money is received, it can’t be refunded!

The two human traffickers came to their senses and wanted to punch Shi Touyu, but Shi Touyu shivered all over, jumped to the top of the van, squatted on top, looking down at these people.

”Huang is here, kneel down quickly!”

She spoke in a shrill voice that gave people goosebumps all over. Qian cooperatively shouted.

”Ah, she’s not possessed, she’s become immortal. Is she about to take up a horse?”

Possession is different from becoming an immortal. Possession is when the body is taken over. It’s a bad thing, but becoming an immortal means this immortal has a fate with Shi Touyu. In the future, Shi Touyu can call the immortal at any time, understanding the past and future!

Once immortal, she will become a great immortal in the future. A rural great immortal specializes in fortune-telling and making money, and no one dares to offend her.

Generally, it divides into yellow immortals, the weasel, fox immortals, the fox, and snake immortals, the snake. There are also ghost immortals, and in Southeast Asia, there are similar things called oracle boys. The invited immortals differ but generally mean the same – to have the immortal possess oneself, allowing the person to have divine skills.

To put it this way, if there’s an elderly person seriously ill in the village and it’s unknown when they’ll die, they’ll seek advice from a great immortal. The great immortal says when it’s dangerous, and the family prepares things needed for funeral arrangements in advance. For marriage, predicting a good match or foretelling the gender of a baby, or even judging who stole money during a disagreement between sisters-in-law, they go to ask the great immortals. If sick, and medication doesn’t work, they may consider it caused by evil; thus, they invite the immortal to drive it away.

”Taking up the horse,” was also something Shi Yu told Qian in a past life. She said there was a daughter-in-law in the village who suddenly started speaking nonsense and claimed she became immortal, the farther the place, the more they believe in these.

When a normal person becomes immortal, ready to tell fortunes and see things for others, they’re called taking up the horse.

In this place, just so happens there are particularly many weasels, sometimes even hiding a nest in a woodpile, so Qian had Shi Touyu act like the yellow immortal.

Whether there’s scientific reasoning, it’s unknown, but many people believe in this, and having such a great immortal in the family can earn a lot of money.

Qian let Shi Touyu act as a great immortal at this critical moment.

People in such places are generally uneducated and highly superstitious about these.

As expected, after Xiaoyu shouted, a few of the older ones actually knelt down. The bald man had traveled far and wide, having seen the world, although feeling somewhat apprehensive, still braced himself to kick the car.

”Get down now, or I’ll beat you to death!”

”Beat me to death? Your family is going to die, your family is going to die!” Shi Touyu at this moment was fully expressing genuine emotion, pointing at the bald man, a woman known as Da Mei, quickly stepped forward and bowed, ”Huang, please calm down, forgive the ignorance.”

”Bow to me, and I’ll forgive you!” Shi Yu said bitterly.

”Brother, better to believe it’s true than not!”

The bald man still held a skeptical attitude, refusing to kneel, and prevented Da Mei from kneeling.

Shi Yu suddenly stood up, pointed at the sky, and said, ”I am the ancient great yellow immortal Shi Touyu, you all must respect me as Huang, today you are fortunate to obtain an immortal. How dare you not believe, how dare you not believe me! Heavenly spirit, earthly spirit, Lord Lao Zi of the Great Monad quickly appear in spirit, soul come back, soul-calling, calling the soul, the dead person, come alive!”

Qian was speechless, spouting nonsense again! Lord Lao Zi of the Great Monad and your Huang are on the same path? Even bringing out Qu Yuan’s soul-calling!

Every experience in life is a precious wealth, even if at the moment it doesn’t feel good, who knows when you might need it someday.

Shi Touyu had some unpleasant experiences in the drama club; the president betrayed her friend Qian, and she quit angrily, regretful of joining such a useless club in the first place, which nearly cost her friendship with Qian.

But now, Shi Touyu was grateful for the acting skills the drama club gave her, just right to deceive these ignorant people.

Everyone was scared by her; Shi Yu standing on the car roof, performing her heart out, as she twitched and shouted.

”Soul calling, the dead person, come alive! Look who I’ve summoned, it’s Shan Kuizi, it’s Shan Kuizi!”

After Shi Touyu shouted the name Qian told her to say, the buyer’s face changed, showing surprise.

After Shi Yu finished speaking, she suddenly widened her eyes, using a slightly lower voice, pointed at the buyer, took off a shoe, and threw it hard.

”You turtle! Gambling, not learning well, the family inheritance I gave you, did you spend it all on buying women! Turtle son, turtle son big paozi!”

Upon her shout, the whole crowd of onlooking villagers gasped together, it’s real!

Really possessed! A soul of a dead person possessed!

Shan Kuizi, just recently deceased’s father, was Da Paozi, the man who was buying Shi Touyu.

Qian knew this because of resources from a past life; when hypnotizing Shi Touyu, she remembered this information.

”Who are you, don’t come over, don’t come over!” Ferocious Da Paozi dared to be fierce with the living but feared tales of spirits and ghosts greatly.

Xiaoyu remembered Qian’s repeated warnings; once transformed, she must be fierce, the fiercer, the better, and not miss a single word of the lines.

With a firm resolve, she jumped down, picked up a stone from the ground, and threw it at Da Paozi’s half-shaved head.

”You turtle son, even forgetting your father, the scar on your head, it was my branding iron that burned it!”
