After saying all this, Luna didn’t need the army protection like when she arrived. She simply made a forward movement, and a large gate made up of mirror fragments appeared in front of her.

From Gu Xi’s perspective, he could see that behind the gate was the familiar Assembly Hall of Yalidu City.

Before Gu Xi could discern the situation behind the mirror, Luna had already stepped through.

After Luna had left, the mirror slowly faded away.

However, at this moment, Gu Xi realized that Luna’s Mirror Image Ability had been further enhanced.

Many skills, which were evidently not that strong before, could now be easily unleashed.

After Luna departed, Gu Xi composed himself.

Although being a backup isn’t the most pleasant thought, it finally provided him with a way out.

This significantly improved Gu Xi’s mood.

After seeing Luna off, Gu Xi leaped towards the location where the city initially was.

After Luna had extracted the mirror here, the ground sunk by about thirty meters.

This depression reminded him of the pit left by the extracted Death City. Seeing this made Gu Xi realize he didn’t need to lay the foundation again.

Floating down into the deep pit with the Holy Silver Evil Coffin, Gu Xi carefully examined the surroundings.

To Gu Xi’s surprise, Luna had indeed only taken the city part; the underground earth veins and such were still there.

Previously, because he hadn’t approached, Gu Xi didn’t realize how large this city was.

But now, jumping down, Gu Xi finally took a serious look at the size of the foundation in front of him.

This was quite a large city foundation, occupying about fifty square kilometers.

It’s roughly a tenth the size of Yalidu City.

To visualize it simply, it’s approximately ten thousand soccer fields or the size of Macau.

From Gu Xi’s perspective, it’s a rectangular piece of land, roughly eight thousand meters long and seven thousand meters wide.

This should belong to the style of early Human Cities, which always preferred to make their cities square.

For Gu Xi, the shape of the city wasn’t that important.

He cared more about the issues concerning earth veins and energy.

Releasing the Netherworld Dragon Robe Carrier, Gu Xi began searching within the fifty-square-kilometer area.

Though the ground was already quite level, in Gu Xi’s eyes, he could still see the original direction of the earth veins.

Quickly, Gu Xi searched for the numerous original nodes of the earth veins.

Through this observation, Gu Xi somewhat understood some aspects of city construction.

Generally, cities are often built on locations where earth veins gather.

Once the city is positioned, human-made nodes can be generated on the earth veins.

These man-made nodes correspond to the land plots on the surface; complete nodes are large plots, incomplete nodes are medium plots, and those not even considered incomplete, just touching the edge of a node, are sized as small or auxiliary plots based on the energy flow.

Previously, Gu Xi had never hollowed out a city like this.

Nor had he carefully observed the direction of the earth veins.

So Gu Xi was always unaware of all this.

Now it looked different, as Gu Xi used the Netherworld Dragon Robe Carrier to check the earth vein directions; just one glance revealed how many land plots this city could accommodate.

And where adjustments could be made to produce more plots.

”Didn’t expect to be doing this sort of thing at the final moment.”

Gu Xi chuckled as he began adjusting the direction of the earth veins.

With the help of the Netherworld Dragon Robe and the focus of the White Bone Obelisk.

Understanding this point, Gu Xi quickly started making adjustments.

The thought process and requirement map for adjusting the earth veins was somewhat amusing.

If Gu Xi hadn’t checked the direction of the earth veins, he would have never discovered the requirements for earth vein alignment on the back of the land title.

Back then, Luna could casually place the land title down, merging the district and land within it into Yalidu City.

That’s because Luna had absolute control over Yalidu City.

She could manipulate the underground energy of Yalidu City as she pleased.

But now, the situation of not meeting the standard was different at all.

Before him was clearly the wilderness outside the city, and if the city’s land placement wasn’t supported by corresponding earth vein energy, a portion of the land’s size might be lost.

Or if energy might be wasted, allowing the earth veins to automatically adjust to fit the land title’s layout.

Now it was different.

Before placing the land title, Gu Xi adjusted the earth veins according to the requirement.

At that time, it was just a matter of putting the land title in the right spot.

Doing this was much easier compared to building a temporary earth vein on a vacant lot with an energy core back then.

For future convenience.

Gu Xi operated the Netherworld Dragon Robe to begin adjusting the earth veins.

While adjusting the earth veins, Gu Xi noticed something.

The Dragon Burial Vein could serve a very good purpose at this time.

The original Dragon Burial Vein was about extracting the attributes of the earth or dragon veins, turning them into Ghost Dragons.

But now, under Gu Xi’s operation, the Dragon Burial Vein turned into re-infusing the attributes of the earth or dragon veins back underground, upgrading the earth veins, or bringing some different attributes to the earth veins.

Gu Xi operated like this, but he didn’t overdo it.

As the Dragon Burial Vein somewhat carried Death Qi.

If Gu Xi was building an Undead City here, it would be fine.

But the land title to be placed down is for an Underground City.

This isn’t an Undead Attribute city, and Gu Xi doesn’t want any problems at this stage.

He still wants a city where he can store the Black Dragon and Red Dragon.

No.

When thinking of the Black Dragon and Red Dragon, Gu Xi couldn’t help but look up at the sky; when he looked up, he noticed that among the Black Dragon group, there seemed to be some giant dragons of different colors.

Among them was a blue-green dragon, a Young Dragon yet evidently bigger than the Black Dragons.

Are these the Young Dragons that emerged from the Teleportation Gate of Dragon Valley?

Looks like I need to step up my game.

If I don’t hurry and have this Underground City built, I won’t know where to place these dragons.

So, Gu Xi refocused his attention on the earth veins, diligently adjusting their directions.

Under Gu Xi’s adjustment, the earth veins were almost identical to the layout map on the land title.

After finishing this task, Gu Xi came to a location in the southeast corner of the current position.

After the previous adjustments, two earth veins crossed precisely here.

This was also the most suitable location for the Assembly Hall on the earth vein layout map of the land title.

Standing there, Gu Xi placed the land title in his hand where the earth veins intersected, and a multicolored light rose.
