Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 1064: Chapter 1062: Potent Purple Shield

When coming to the warehouse, Gu Xi had already considered what he needed.

His idea at this moment was to make a supplement for the last two paths of the Flame Light Six Paths Lamp.

Within the Flame Light Six Paths Lamp, four pieces of equipment had already been suppressed, including the high and mighty Orange-Clad White Bone Obelisk, Yellow Springs Dragon Robe, Spirit Lamp, and Vanguard Power - Shattering Array.

Now it was just the last two paths left.

And the idea of supplementing these two paths with Purple Armor came to Gu Xi when he saw the battle in the sky in Bailian City.

He needed a Defender who could block all attacks for him when necessary, and he also required a Shooter who could engage in long-range combat.

So Gu Xi naturally turned his focus to Armor and Shields.

As for Longbows, the Chaoyang Radiance Guild did not have specialized research on them.

After all, the Shooters on the side of the Undead were not particularly renowned, and they didn’t have specialized Bows and Arrows.

The only Orange Armor bow in Bailian City was obtained by modifying other peoples’ Orange Armor.

Naturally, the Chaoyang Radiance Guild wouldn’t specially research Bows and Arrows, but instead, Shields and Heavy Armor, which were necessary for Death Knights, and they had several good styles in hand.

Gu Xi went through these Shields and Heavy Armors, comparing their attributes one by one.

Gu Xi’s requirements for this equipment were simple: the Attributes should be strong enough, and the Defense Power should be strong enough.

As for the Negative Effect, what was that?

Gu Xi wasn’t using them himself, so he wasn’t afraid of these at all.

What he wanted was strong Defense, strong Skills, which could preserve his life in the first instance.

Under Gu Xi’s selection, he eventually found a shield.

This shield belonged to a large Tower Shield.

The entire shield was as tall as a person, rectangular in shape, with straps on the back that could be tied to the shoulder or carried on the back.

On the front of the shield, there was an image of a flying Three-legged Golden Crow.

It could be seen that this shield was indeed a product unique to the Chaoyang Radiance Guild.

At least this style seemed to be of the Chaoyang Radiance Guild style.

[Extreme Sunlight (Purple, Shield)]

[Defense: 48]

[Equipped: Constitution +12]

[Equipment Requirements: Power 26, Agility 14, Constitution 23]

[Special 1: Extreme Light Shield, as long as you stand under sunlight, an Light Shield will automatically generate every five minutes, the Light Shield carries 48 points of Defense, protecting the user from 48 points of damage (Light Shield can keep stacking, but as long as there is no sunlight, it will stop increasing automatically).]

[Special Impact 1: After equipping and activating the Extreme Light Shield effect once, the user’s eyes will be stimulated by Light Technique or Flash Skill, unable to see properly under sunlight.]

[Special 2: Blazing Shield Guard, actively defending a certain companion while supporting a Shield Wall with 480 points of Defense Power, before the Shield Wall is broken, the defended will not suffer any damage.]

[Special Impact 2: After equipping and activating the Blazing Shield Guard effect once, all attacks received by the Shield Wall will fall doubly on the Shield-Bearer.]

[Special 3: Light Illusion, when facing a fatal hit, Extreme Sunlight will emit dazzling white light, forming three white light clones, to be chosen by the enemy. If the choice is wrong, the enemy’s attack will be dodged.]

[Special Impact 3: After equipping and activating the Light Illusion effect once, the user will automatically lose half of their Life Force during the first second of contact with sunlight each day.]

[Explanation: Sunlight has no limits.]

Upon seeing the attributes of the shield in front of him, Gu Xi confirmed his target for choosing Purple Armor from the Chaoyang Radiance Guild this time.

Now he was hesitating about one thing.

What should he choose for the second piece?

His initial thought was to pick a Crossbow or Bow, and if that didn’t work, Firearms would do.

This way, he would have long-range capabilities.

But the problem was, after wandering around here, Gu Xi didn’t find any purple long-range weapons, not even Magic Wands usable by Mages.

This made Gu Xi somewhat helpless.

He couldn’t just pick another set of Heavy Armor to go back, could he?

That would overlap with Extreme Sunlight.

Facing such a situation, Gu Xi thought for a long time.

Eventually, he came up with an idea.

”Excuse me, can I freely choose two pieces of Purple Armor here?”

The Fierce Weasel who brought Gu Xi nodded affirmatively.

The president arranged it that way, and Fierce Weasel wouldn’t alter a word.

So Gu Xi said with a smile, ”Then can I take two pieces of Extreme Sunlight?”

To Gu Xi’s question, Fierce Weasel was also stunned for a moment.

Although word for word, this idea was reasonable.

However, rarely would anyone do so.

Extreme Sunlight belonged to the Guild’s Shield used for transition by the Main Tank.

Apart from the Main Tank or those wanting to become a Tanker Death Knight, ordinary people wouldn’t hold such a shield.

And even if one wanted to become the Main Tank, having one shield was enough.

If one wanted to prepare a backup, it wouldn’t be necessary to prepare two identical shields, would it?

But Gu Xi didn’t explain any of this.

Seeing Fierce Weasel agree, he reached out to pick up two pieces of Extreme Sunlight.

But Gu Xi never expected that his first attempt at lifting them almost failed.

In the end, he had to use a clone with Fitness Skill to lift the two pieces of Extreme Sunlight.

Fortunately, last time he gained Tree Spirit Life, letting the Fitness Skill digest it, forcing him to gain 14 levels in Fitness Skill.

Nothing else to say, his Power reached 34 points, Constitution reached 40 points, and Life soared past 7000.

At this level, even if Gu Xi dressed in Heavy Armor, holding a shield and went to be a Death Knight, people would be willing to believe.

Not to mention the added clone from Fitness Skill.

Yet at this level, Gu Xi exerted great effort to hold the two shields in his hands.

This clearly showed how heavy these two shields were.

With two pieces of Extreme Sunlight in hand, Gu Xi turned to the Fierce Weasel and said.

”Okay, I’ve made my selection, where do we go next?”

”Next, sir, you’ll go and register on the second floor, I won’t accompany you there.”

Fierce Weasel wasn’t planning to dissuade Gu Xi, thinking that everything was Gu Xi’s own choice.

Even if Gu Xi ended up regretting, it wouldn’t involve him.

After sending Gu Xi out of the warehouse, Fierce Weasel closed the warehouse door and left straight away without looking back at Gu Xi, rushing back to find the president.

With two pieces of Extreme Sunlight, Gu Xi didn’t immediately place these two shields into the Flame Light Six Paths Lamp.

The Flame Light Six Paths Lamp was still Gu Xi’s secret.

Gu Xi didn’t want others to know he held Orange Armor.

He just strapped the two shields onto his back and headed towards the registration area on the second floor.

There, he needed to apply for participation in Creation, also obtaining a receipt from the Chaoyang Radiance Guild.
