Upon return to Yalidu City, there wasn’t much for Gu Xi to handle.

A large amount of resources needed sorting, and the recently engaged forces required reorganization.

Severely injured troops needed rest and treatment.

Luna and the others had many unfinished tasks at hand.

Gu Xi also wished to rest for a while.

Thus, after handing over the affairs of Yalidu City to a few subordinates, Gu Xi swiftly exited Yalidov.

Upon exiting Yalidov, Gu Xi found himself back at the location where he battled the Octopus Head player team.

However, the player group that had come to support the Chaoyang Radiance Guild president had vanished.

Instead, there were many Undead left behind, ranging from Level 6 to Level 9.

Gu Xi was startled by these Undead upon his arrival.

He thought perhaps another battle had occurred here.

Yet, upon his appearance, these Undead had no intention of attacking him.

As Gu Xi looked further, he discovered traces of the Undead Calamity Array’s setup on the ground.

All these Undead were summoned through the Undead Calamity Array.

Moreover, Gu Xi could discern that the level of this Undead Calamity Array was quite high, as the summoned Undead’s strength could reach below Level 15.

It turns out only those above Level 10 Undead were absent here.

Judging by the nearby situation, since he left without experiencing another battle, why did Undead of Level 10 and above disappear?

Just as Gu Xi was puzzled, he noticed a stone tablet left at the center of the Undead Calamity Array not far away.

On it was the Chaoyang Radiance Guild’s emblem.

Gu Xi, having studied within the guild, knew this was a message for guild members.

At this moment, he just needed to take out the guild badge to automatically receive the information.

Though uncertain of the situation, Gu Xi took out his badge nonetheless.

Just as he thought, his badge was extracted, and a phantom of a Golden Crow leapt from the stone tablet, landing before Gu Xi.

’Gu Xi, we have rescued the president, but the president’s condition is very unstable and needs to be taken back to the guild quickly; we cannot wait here for you.,

Once you arrive, immediately withdraw from the game.

These Undead were all summoned by the Undead Calamity to support your battle.

Due to time constraints, we couldn’t take these Undead away, and they are all left here for you now.

You might find three contracts beneath the stone tablet, the roll on the left, green contract, allows you to control these Undead.

The other contracts will only drive the Undead to madness, if all three contracts are opened, the Undead will initiate a suicidal attack.

So make sure to choose the correct contract.’

Reading the vice-captain’s message, Gu Xi understood the current situation.

He also realized that the Undead left here weren’t supposed to be like this originally.

It’s likely those Undead above Level 10 summoned during Gu Xi’s absence were taken by the Chaoyang Radiance Guild’s players.

Gu Xi didn’t have much thoughts on such matters.

If only he were present at the time.

To leave these Undead behind actually counts as giving him face.

As Gu Xi pondered, he opened the Main City Gate.

With the Main City Gate open, Gu Xi raised his right hand towards the Undead.

”All of you, look this way.”

Upon Gu Xi’s arrival, these Undead had indeed noticed Gu Xi.

However, since Gu Xi hadn’t attacked, the Undead ignored him.

Now that Gu Xi had opened such a large city gate, they couldn’t ignore it even if they tried.

Once Gu Xi spoke, they all raised their heads looking towards Gu Xi.

”I’m a member of the Chaoyang Radiance Guild; here’s my guild badge, you can all see that this Undead Calamity Array was released by our Chaoyang Radiance Guild, which has some connection with you.

Now that they’ve left, you can join my ranks.

Become the force under my command.

Those willing to follow me, enter my city gate, someone will arrange for your equipment...”

Saying this, Gu Xi paused unwittingly.

He hadn’t noticed before, but now he saw that sometimes the Undead Calamity Array had its advantages.

That is, the summoned Undead had complete gear.

Unlike Gu Xi’s Double Death, where transformed Undead were always bare-handed, holding nothing.

At the very least, their equipment was complete.

Gu Xi hadn’t paid much attention before, but now he saw they surprisingly resembled a very well-organized force.

Within the force, from Skeleton Soldiers to Corpse Witches, all Undead were present.

Upon receiving Gu Xi’s orders, they quickly formed ranks according to their levels and types, organizing themselves into lines and entering the Main City Gate.

At this time, Gu Xi also clearly saw the number of Undead before him.

There were six thousand Skeleton Soldiers, three thousand Skeleton Shooters, one thousand Skeleton Mages, four thousand Zombies, four thousand Ghosts, fifteen hundred Vampires, and nine hundred Corpse Witches.

Apart from the Corpse Witches all being Level 9, other Undead levels ranged from Level 6 to Level 9.

Among these Undead, the nine hundred Corpse Witches were the most intriguing to Gu Xi.

Gu Xi emphasized them not because of their abundance, nor due to their strength.

It was because their appearance differed from normal Corpse Witches.

They seemed like a type of troop Gu Xi hadn’t encountered before.

Normal Corpse Witches resembled Skeleton Mages clad in Silver Scale Armor, holding a Wooden Magic Staff and wearing a Crown.

Mostly depending on development paths, they had extras such as cloaks or robes.

However, the Corpse Witches before him were different, their bodies resembling mummies, holding daggers and a secondary object resembling a box.

They moved forward holding the box, reminiscent of Holy Knights carrying a Bible or official texts.

Moreover, they lacked the unique poisonous or Ice elemental magic aura, instead carrying a potent soul aura.

It was clear this kind of Corpse Witch differed from those Gu Xi had seen before.

This kind of Corpse Witch seemed to be a stronger existence.
