With a Soul Summoning Skill, Gu Xi saw what he wanted to see, yet not quite what he wished to see.

Underneath the Illusionary Village, a large number of corpses were buried.

This is truly a sinful act.

Watching the six hundred Frenzied Beast Skeleton Soldiers crawling out from underground, Gu Xi began to mutter in his heart.

You, being a King of Britain, gained the power support from the Great Monarch to ascend.

You don’t offer good tributes and still want to deceive others.

Creating such a Mirror Image Underground Palace.

Yet the Mirror Image Underground Palace contains not just one Great Monarch, but hides other enemies?

How many things have infiltrated here?

As he complained, Gu Xi simultaneously instructed his men to collect all the Deceitful Energy Pearl formed after death from the village using the Yellow Springs Dragon Robe to lock the location, pointing at the ground.

”Dig here, let me see.”

The Conversion Undead Combat Squad, serving as hard labor, had no complaints; they weren’t needed for combat or for protecting Gu Xi.

Now, they were just used as hard labor.

After digging open the ground from which Frenzied Beast Skeleton Soldiers emerged, Gu Xi merely jumped down for a look and frowned.

”This situation feels a bit off.”

Although beneath both villages were large amounts of skeletons buried, Gu Xi instantly noticed the differences between them.

Under the Illusionary Village here, the buried bones were clearly different from those in the previous village.

This directly negated Gu Xi’s previous thoughts.

In the previous Illusionary Village, the underground corpses seemed randomly piled up like leftovers.

However, the current village’s burial method is entirely different, indicating planned mass killing.

The burial methods of both villages aren’t similar at all.

This piqued Gu Xi’s curiosity about the situation nearby.

He looked up at the Frenzied Beast Skeleton Soldiers who had ventured far away and swiftly ordered, ”Follow them. I want to see what tricks are being played around here.”

The Conversion Undead, who had just climbed out of the deep pit, quickly picked up weapons placed aside and chased after the Frenzied Beast Skeleton Soldiers.

After the Conversion Undead Combat Squad set out, Gu Xi brought the Bone Dragon and chased them.

The Netherworld Dragon Robe Carrier was always beside Gu Xi, allowing him to borrow the carrier’s sight to view the changes in geomancy nearby.

While the two Illusionary Villages were different, Gu Xi believed that all Illusionary Villages were built on Earth Vein Nodes.

This made him slightly more curious about the path of the Earth Vein.

Gu Xi planned to follow and investigate two more villages.

If it’s all on the same Earth Vein, Gu Xi wouldn’t mind performing a Dragon Burial Vein and uprooting this vein entirely.

Yet what followed made Gu Xi rethink.

He pursued the Frenzied Beast Skeleton Soldiers.

His chase led through five Illusionary Villages and a peculiar camp.

These villages and camp retained their Illusionary nature.

The type that transforms into a hill is rare, mostly using Illusionary means as foundations and building materials to establish their villages.

However, in these few Illusionary Villages, the number of corpses buried underground steadily increased, with some gold and silver utensils or coins placed by the corpses.

Though these corpses were converted into new Frenzied Beast Skeleton Soldiers through Gu Xi’s Soul Summoning Skill, climbing out from underground,

The burial spots with remaining gold and silver utensils stayed unchanged.

Through these, Gu Xi discovered three entirely different Earth Veins; the peculiar camp sat at the junction of two Earth Veins.

This was precisely why Gu Xi didn’t stop.

He found that all Earth Veins seemed to originate from one direction, but they varied in paths and transformations.

Now, if he were to conduct a Dragon Burial Vein, it would easily deal with some Ghost Dragons.

But it would also mean severing the search for other Earth Veins.

Given the current flow of Earth Veins, Gu Xi grew increasingly convinced that a major Earth Vein convergence point existed nearby.

So he was naturally willing to follow and investigate.

As for the increasing numbers of Frenzied Beast Skeleton Soldiers, that was secondary.

After several battles, Gu Xi ceased post-battle soul-summoning; he began summoning as soon as Frenzied Beast Skeleton Soldiers fought halfway.

After all, the corpses were buried underground, and the defeated Illusions held an abundance of usable souls, ensuring successful summoning.

Through these battles, the number of Frenzied Beast Skeleton Soldiers under Gu Xi’s command reached more than five thousand.

Of course, among these five thousand soldiers, only a few obtained enhancements from wooden frames, while others considered themselves armed by merely acquiring a weapon, gaining combat prowess as a result.

But this definitely constituted a formidable combat squad.

Just imagine, a Berserker troop of four to five thousand charging, where only the Knight Corps could counter slightly.

Other squads, lacking in numbers and power, would face death in a direct confrontation.

Their speed was inferior to Cavalry, yet their charge effects were almost identical to that of the Knight Corps.

In terms of agility and autonomy, they surpassed the Knight Corps.

Especially now, Gu Xi increasingly favored the Frenzied Beast Skeleton Soldier squad.

Until the squad stubbornly encountered an enemy capable of withstanding their wave of impact.

At this moment, Gu Xi realized he had found a suitable city-building location.

It was a city wall half-buried underground, behind which lay a special Shadowy Squad.

They combined heavy defense and ranged attacks.

Their bodies were fused with the bizarre city walls, with only a third resembling humans, while the remaining parts merged with the walls.

From a distance, it looked like a black wall with a human face protruding.

At the wall’s corners were numerous leg-like structures, allowing the wall to move freely on the buried sections of the city walls.

They could even piece together into formations akin to turtle shields.

However, this was just their front; behind them lay half a catapult, needing no operating personnel, merely needing to lock on a target to launch.

They launched skulls or broken bones.

Small in size but they exploded upon landing.

The Frenzied Beast Skeleton Soldiers lacked effective countermeasures against ranged attacks.

Only against piercing attacks did they possess a dodge rate exceeding fifty percent.

This was a standard effect for Skeleton Soldiers.

For large-scale catapult attacks like this, the damage was substantial against Frenzied Beast Skeleton Soldiers.

As soon as they charged out, a third were blown up.

The remainder rushed to the city wall only to be blocked by a row of Illusions.

These Illusions had remarkably high defenses and power; the Frenzied Beast Skeleton Soldiers couldn’t breach their defensive lines despite the assaults.

And at this time, Gu Xi noticed another peculiar squad crawling across the back of the city wall, drawing Gu Xi’s attention upon their emergence.
