Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 1083: Chapter 1081: The Expedition (Bonus Chapter – Subscription Requested)

After setting the primary targets, Gu Xi and the others discussed various aspects based on this divination result.

They only stopped after arranging all the identifiable issues.

No wonder Gu Xi was so tense.

After all, this concerns his life.

If he were careless now, it might lead to a reversal in Gu Xi’s situation.

Whether it was Gu Xi or his subordinates including the Contracted Undead, they all took the matter very seriously.

After recording everything, everyone quickly sprang into action.

Shaya immediately wrapped Little Fox’s skull in fox fur to prevent mana consumption within it.

Eve transcribed copies of the freshly written meeting notes and handed them out to Luna and Eldest Princess Anna.

These notes contained the crucial matters they had just discussed.

Among them, Luna and Eldest Princess Anna faced the heaviest tasks.

Luna needed to make good use of the dungeon land title obtained earlier during this downtime.

Luna had been delaying this matter for a while.

After all, the level 6 land title is styled for the Underground City.

Melding it directly into the Yalidu City environment would disrupt its overall aesthetic.

At that time, though Gu Xi’s Death City would level up, other aspects would be affected.

So when acquiring this land title, the idea of Gu Xi and Luna was to break out from the Main City Gate direction.

To build a Satellite City outside Yaliduo City.

However, Gu Xi had been preoccupied, and Yalidu City was bustling with various constructions.

This dungeon land title was not even assigned a location, let alone utilized effectively.

But now it couldn’t be delayed any longer.

Gu Xi decided to lead his team out of the city, choose a location, and first establish this Satellite City.

As for Eldest Princess Anna, she needed to prepare for the upcoming troops for the dungeon.

Despite the current situation, Gu Xi did not plan to halt the Westminster Cathedral major event dungeon tasks.

In contrast, Gu Xi planned to quickly handle the Westminster Cathedral major event dungeon and use it to replenish a batch of forces.

Especially concerning Eldest Princess Anna’s Grand Princess Council.

Though the Grand Princess Council seemed completely countered in the divined scene,

Gu Xi had to admit that the lords of the Grand Princess Council did not drag down the fight.

Instead, they upheld Eldest Princess Anna’s character and abilities, even facing players or Orange Armor, they fought with flair.

Gu Xi naturally couldn’t negate these lords just because they were eventually defeated.

Gu Xi’s idea was singular: strengthen them, enable them to defeat those players.

After the meeting, Gu Xi and the others swiftly moved into action.

Gu Xi directly took the Bone Dragon Corps and Conversion Undead Combat Squad out of the city, meanwhile the Black Dragon and Red Dragon, always lingering near Sleeping Beauty Castle, were summoned by Gu Xi.

After all, the current objective was to establish an Underground City; it was a perfect time to release the Black Dragon there.

After exiting through the Main City Gate, Gu Xi ventured into the territory of the Mirror Image Underground Palace.

In Yaliduo Camp, each day various warfare missions were issued, many targeting the deceitful shadow and anomalies outside the city.

Only a minority focused on patrols and cleaning tasks within the city.

Thanks to numerous warfare missions, within a ten-mile radius outside Yaliduo City, large groups of deceitful shadows and anomalies no longer existed.

The few stray deceitful shadows in the wild didn’t require Gu Xi’s intervention; a mere confrontation with his troops would eliminate them.

To speed up the journey, Gu Xi didn’t linger within a ten-mile radius of Yaliduo City.

With his troops, he marched along the Path of Tribulation, directly advancing to a thirty-mile position outside Yaliduo City.

There, Gu Xi began scrutinizing the surrounding conditions.

”Combat formation, prepare to advance!”

Under Gu Xi’s command, all Conversion Undead Combat Squad members scattered in all directions.

Simultaneously, the Bone Dragon and Black Dragon, Red Dragon soared in the sky, consistently hovering above.

With his troop’s protection, Gu Xi departed from the Path of Tribulation and began moving beyond Yaliduo City’s control range.

Along this route, enemies gradually increased.

This area was beyond Yaliduo City’s control.

Even Yaliduo Camp’s warfare missions hadn’t extended here yet.

Entering this region, Gu Xi encountered cluster formations of deceitful shadows.

Their levels ranged from Level 1 to Level 8.

Primarily between Level 4 and Level 5.

Only a third of these deceitful shadows were humanoid, while the rest were twisted and chaotic animal or plant forms.

Additionally, these deceitful shadows differed somewhat from those previously fought within Yaliduo City.

They lacked strong peculiar traits; they typically lived in groups in the wild.

In the forefront, any Conversion Undead discovering a deceitful shadow or anomaly would swiftly encounter attacks from all directions.

The enemy’s attack methods were diverse.

Unlike the stiff deceitful shadows in Yaliduo City.

Among them emerged tactics where one took the lead, with others providing support.

It was Gu Xi’s first time encountering this while battling deceitful shadows for such a long period.

These deceitful shadows had practically formed a small group.

There was only one who controlled the situation among them.

All other deceitful shadows were solely power sources for that controller.

Eliminating the surrounding ordinary deceitful shadows and anomalies didn’t significantly impact these groups.

On the contrary, Gu Xi’s attack methods were quickly analyzed by the enemy, who then devised targeted countermeasures.

However, the good news was these deceitful shadows lacked means against large legion assaults.

If Gu Xi deployed a major legion to launch an impact, they often failed to react appropriately.

As long as those deceitful shadows were scattered, or a saturated attack was employed before they could respond, they had no chance for reversal.

Gu Xi, too, mastered such saturated attacks.

After suffering minor losses to the deceitful shadows, Gu Xi adapted his tactics.

The Combat Squad transitioned from primary attackers to scouts.

Once a foe was found, the Combat Squad would launch an attack and lead the enemy to Gu Xi.

Subsequently, the Black Dragon and Bone Dragon behind Gu Xi would initiate their assaults.

The Black Dragon, lacking opportunities before, seized its chance now, persistently circling the skies, unleashing powerful Dragon Breath on the enemy’s densest locations during each dive.
