It must be said that Zheng Gong was efficient in what he set out to do.

When Lu Fan mentioned that he had ‘proposal to discuss with the Three Elders, Zheng Gong quickly served as an intermediary, helping Lu Fan establish contact with Elder Han.

Elder Han did not have his own private mobile phone, but his accompanying secretary did have a mobile device for maintaining contact with Elder Han.

Through this encrypted phone number, Lu Fan successfully had a conversation with Elder Han over the phone, briefly outlining his proposal.

After hearing this, Elder Han also drew in a sharp breath.

However, he still gave his high approval.

This matter was of great importance, It was not something that could be finalised between two people over a phone call.

Therefore, Elder Han, who was thousands of kilometres away, suggested that Lu Fan wait briefly in Dragon Capital, as he would return to Dragon Capital at the fastest possible speed via Transport Array to meet with him in person.

Elder Han was incredibly fast. Lu Fan was just brought by Zheng Gong to Dragon Capital’s government building. After waiting less than two hours, Elder Han had already arrived in person.

Upon reaching the reception hall where Lu Fan was located, Elder Han immediately waved to dismiss the surrounding people, then brought Lu Fan to a small adjacent hall. He activated a certain Engineered Item and instantly, the entire hall was enveloped by a blue light screen.

Lu Fan examined it briefly and recognised that this light screen could isolate all sounds and images within the hall. In short, no one would know what was happening inside the light screen.

Seeing this, Lu Fan smiled and said. “Elder Han, aren’t you being overly cautious? We are in Dragon Capital’s government building. Do we really need to be on guard to this extent?”

Elder Han smiled before becoming serious. “If it were some other matter, there would naturally be no need for such elaborate measures. But the matter you want to discuss with me concerns national-level affairs. One can never be too careful.”

Saying this, he pointed outside the light screen. “Matters between nations are far more terrifying than you imagine. Even though this is our own government building, who can guarantee there aren’t spies from other countries here? If word of what you and I discussed today got leaked, the situation would become dire.”

Lu Fan nodded, feeling that Elder Han’s words made sense.

In any case, such a momentous matter should indeed require caution.

Since the light screen was isolating their discussion, then Lu Fan could speak freely.

He lowered his voice somewhat and said to Elder Han. “Elder Han, what do you think of my proposal? Can our Dragon Country swallow this whole cake?”

Elder Han pondered for a moment. “We can definitely swallow it, but it depends on whether your information is completely accurate. Cherry Blossom Country isn’t particularly strong on its own, but the Forces behind it are still quite intimidating.”

“Once an expert like Kage Tenshi harbours thoughts of revenge, our Dragon Country’s vast Territory would be easily entangled in the fallout, and we would be unable to guard both head and tail at the same time. So, if we are to proceed, it must be done cleanly, without a single mistake.”

“If, it is as you say, that Kage Tenshi and the Four Patriarchs of Cherry Blossom Country are truly dead, then directly conquering Cherry Blossom Country shouldn’t be too difficult. I’m just worried whether Cherry Blossom Country still has others in the Fifth Profession…”

Lu Fan said. “There shouldn’t be any left. From my perspective, Kage Tenshi should be Cherry Blossom Country’s sole true ruler behind the scenes. Once he and his supporting Four Major Clans die out, the other experts of Cherry Blossom Country will be no different from scattered sand. They are not worth fearing. If they still had such experts, when the Four Major Clans stepped forward, someone would have stood up in opposition.”

“That makes sense.” Elder Han nodded.

Actually, Elder Han also possessed fairly comprehensive intelligence of Cherry Blossom Country.

According to the intelligence Elder Han possessed, although Cherry Blossom Country’s Four Major Clans had previously emerged and caused quite a stir, the Four Major Clans were not actually Cherry Blossom Country’s true rulers behind the scenes.

Cherry Blossom Country’s actual ruler was a certain existence residing in Sky Shadow Palace.

And this person was Kage Tenshi, who Lu Fan had already informed Elder Han about.

Various evidence had already shown that with Kage Tenshi’s death, there were indeed no noteworthy experts left in Cherry Blossom Country to resist them.

After thinking it over, Elder Han confirmed once more. “According to what you say, Kage Tenshi and the Four Patriarchs have been killed by you, correct?”

Lu Fan smiled: “Indeed, not even bones remain. The eleven warships I submitted were possessions of Kage Tenshi and the Four Patriarchs. They have now become nutrients in my Territory, with no possibility of resurrection.”

Elder Han’s complexion became somewhat flushed, clearly his emotions stirring with excitement. “If that’s the case, now is truly a good opportunity to conquer Cherry Blossom Country. Kage Tenshi was Cherry Blossom Country’s true ruler. With his death, Cherry Blossom Country indeed lacks any noteworthy experts to oppose us.”

“But, within Cherry Blossom Country’s borders, there should still be quite a few super experts lying dormant. Though their strength falls short of Kage Tenshi, once they scatter and cause trouble, they would still pose a great threat to us.”

“Unless…” Elder Han looked at Lu Fan, his eyes carrying deep meaning, “Could you help us once more by eliminating some of these dormant super experts as well?”

Lu Fan was startled, then smiled. “Elder Han, you really think highly of me. If Cherry Blossom Country’s super experts make even Dragon Country wary, they must be at least Level 100.”

“Speaking honestly, one or two Level 100 experts aren’t difficult for me to handle. But asking me to go to Cherry Blossom Country and eliminate these experts one by one… you’re overestimating me too much.”

“You don’t have the capability to?” Elder Han’s smile was full of confidence. “If you don’t have this capability, how could you have killed Kage Tenshi?”

Lu Fan had already prepared an explanation for this. “That’s because they came to my Territory, and I utilised the Territory Defensive Measures…”

Elder Han waved his hand. “I am keenly aware of the strength of Territory Defensive Measures, far better than you. Lightning Waterfall Overcast is already a Legendary Grade Engineered Item, but stopping an existence of Kage Tenshi’s level wouldn’t be easy. Your ability to kill Kage Tenshi and the Four Patriarchs definitely did not rely purely on your Territory Defensive Measures. Though I don’t know what exists in your Territory, I have my own guesses.”

After thinking, Elder Han solemnly said. “Rest assured, I won’t let your Dragons act for nothing. Once we take over Cherry Blossom Country, I’ll provide you with generous compensation. Whatever you request, as long as Dragon Country has it, even if I exhaust our national strength for half a year, I’ll help you obtain it.”

“Oh?” Elder Han’s words indeed stirred Lu Fan’s interest.

Because he truly did have things he wanted…
