Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 678, Killing Their Way to Shadow Isle

Speaking of which, Lu Fan truly felt it was rather a pity that he could not gain more from this.

If Kage Tenshi and his group had first gone to take down Extremistis Country before coming to find him, that would have been perfect.

After all, once these two countries fought and got weakened, he might have been able to send Tu Jing to bring both Cherry Blossom Country and Extremistis Country under his control after dealing with Kage Tenshi and his people.

[What a pity.] Lu Fan had no way to persuade Kage Tenshi to attack Extremistis Country first. So, he could only patiently await the other party’s arrival.

In the blink of an eye, the three days given had already passed.

In the sea not far from Shadow Isle, twelve large warships were breaking through the waves as they approached.

These warships were all Epic Grade Engineered Items, even larger and more robust than the one Andrei had prepared before.

Even though the waves in the sea area were extremely rough, these twelve warships continued steadily forward, cutting through the waves.

The leading warship was even a Legendary Grade one, with as many as eight Epic Grade Engineered Items aboard!

This warship could be said to be Cherry Blossom Country’s national treasure. Once a naval battle broke out, this warship would certainly be invincible in the seas.

As the true ruler of Cherry Blossom Country, Kage Tenshi could mobilise this warship with just one sentence.

At this moment, Kage Tenshi stood at the front section of the warship, gazing out at the sea ahead.

Kage Mako soon appeared behind him, speaking respectfully. “Master, why don’t you go inside the warship to rest?”

“I don’t need rest.” Kage Tenshi looked ahead, slowly saying. “Just thinking about being able to see Giant Dragons with my own eyes, and possibly being able to learn the method to obtain them, makes me too excited to rest.”

Kage Mako hastily said. “With your strength, Master, once you can obtain the Giant Dragons, your Combat Power will surely dramatically surge… But, Master, don’t you find it strange? That Dragon Tamer isn’t in Dragon Country, but rather in an area within international waters.”

Kage Tenshi said. “Yes, it is quite strange. But I suppose it’s because although he spoke with such defiance, after truly seeing the news of the Four Major Clans, he realised we were not joking with him, so he got scared and hid himself. Not to worry. When I spoke with him the last time, I had already released a Skill to make your mark even stronger. Now, he can’t possibly remove it. No matter where he hides, we will be able to find him. So, he is truly there.”

After a pause, Kage Tenshi sneered. “This brat is truly stupid, really thinking that by hiding in the Wilderness, he can avoid our pursuit? If he had stayed in Dragon Country, perhaps I would have had to think of ways to deal with Dragon Country’s Three Elders and Tu Jing. But if he’s in the Wilderness, then no one can help him.”

“This battle probably won’t be that interesting. Your Senior Brothers will be enough to capture that Dragon Tamer and bring him before me.”

“Naturally!” Kage Mako hastily flattered., “He is a mere Third Profession Dragon Tamer. How could he have the qualifications to compete with you, Master? For so many of us to come here is already giving him enough face.”

As the two spoke, the outline of a small island appeared in the horizon ahead.

Kage Tenshi could also connect with the mark on Lu Fan’s body, so naturally he could sense that Lu Fan was indeed on this small island.

“It should be the small island ahead. Have our warships accelerate towards it, don’t let him escape! In the vast seas, if he has some life-saving Skills, pursuing him would be troublesome.”

“Yes, Master. I’ll have someone notify the four Senior Brothers immediately.”

Just as Kage Mako left, Kage Tenshi squinted as he examined the island ahead that grew larger as they approached. He suddenly discovered in surprise that this small island was extraordinary, that it was not part of the Wilderness!

“This is a Territory!?” Kage Tenshi immediately understood, seeing through the mystery, and then was greatly delighted. “The Force backing that young man must be quite strong. To think he actually possesses a Territory!”

“Hehe, this really is an unexpected pleasant surprise. It seems that besides the method to obtain Giant Dragons, I’ll also be able to possess such a large Territory. Excellent, excellent. I wonder if this Territory might have any abundant resources. If so, then coming to capture that Dragon Tamer this time would truly be a massive boon…”

The eyes under Kage Tenshi’s cloak lit up with crimson light, his greedy expression fully revealed.

Soon, the twelve warships approached Shadow Isle.

As they drew near, the environment of Shadow Isle was also seen by those on the ships.

This island was shrouded in black mist, pervaded with an eerie atmosphere. At first glance, one could tell it was an extremely dangerous place.

However, those on the ships did not mind.

Because the party that had come to capture Lu Fan this time was truly too massive.

Apart from Kage Tenshi, Kage Mako, and the Four Major Clan Patriarchs, the accompanying Level 100 Players numbered nine more, Fourth Profession Players numbered twenty-one, Third Profession Players numbered one hundred and seventy-two. As for the Level 50+ Players who had come to do odd jobs and make up the numbers, there were even more of them,  a full twelve hundred plus.

With Kage Tenshi’s strength and influence, organising a ten-thousand-man legion was easy.

However, it was not necessary either.

Twelve warships, plus so many experts. It should be said that dealing with one Lu Fan would be easy.

With so many experts holding the fort, what reason did they have to fear?

Even though Shadow Isle looked strange, their warships’ advance speed still did not slow down.

As they entered the waters near Shadow Isle, Lu Fan, on the island, got alerted.

As the Territory Master, whenever there was any disturbance on his Territory, he would know immediately.

Shadow Isle’s territory did not just encompass the island; it also encompassed some of the surrounding seas.

So, after the Cherry Blossom Country warships entered its waters, Lu Fan knew that the other party had finally arrived.

“They’re final here!” Lu Fan became excited, calling to Han Ke and the others beside him. “Come on, let’s go to the top floor of Shadow Fortress. I’ve prepared several telescopes there so you can watch a good show!”

Han Ke was also smiling as she said. “En, I’ve also prepared quite a few snacks.”

“Great!” The girls were immediately delighted, all standing up to follow Lu Fan to the top floor of Shadow Fortress.

Here on the top floor of Shadow Fortress, sofas, telescopes, and small snacks were all prepared. Now that the Cherry Blossom Country’s ‘protagonists’ had also made their entrance, the show could officially begin.

Lu Fan rolled up his sleeves, his mood excellent.

He had made such grand preparations on Shadow Isle for so long. Finally, someone was coming to attack his Territory!

[Kage Tenshi and Cherry Blossom Country. Thank you so much for letting me finally test out my island. To think I finally have a day to display its might!]
